Great
SStasuardoWe had a wonderful time at this place—I believe it’s the best spot in the area. It was my wife’s birthday, so we booked a beachfront seaside room. Everything was perfect, from the early check-in (before 2 p.m.) to the recommendations about the island and the exceptional service throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent, especially by Philippine standards, with plenty of healthy options and fresh vegetables. The hotel also has its own bar, sun chairs, and a great atmosphere for relaxing.

GGuest UserThe service is almost non-existent, the black guy is openly discriminating, the wifi signal is too poor to connect, the meat for breakfast is canned food sold at 40p a can in the supermarket, the decoration is simple and can only be considered OK in the Philippines, there is no quilt on the bed, only sheets, and the sea view room has to climb stairs from the hotel entrance to the room, which is very tiring

Great
DDzhentaoThe hotel is located on a private island. Getting there isn't too difficult, but all the main attractions (sardines, sharks, canyoneering) are quite a distance away. This hotel seems to have been designed for guests who don't want to leave it – a small 'Bounty island' vibe. But it didn't quite hit the mark. The staff here are constantly smiling. As soon as they see you, they drop what they're doing to greet you. During meals, they approach you every minute to ask questions and tell you about the free 'entertainment' planned for the day. Honestly, it's annoying and doesn't match the status the hotel clearly aims for. In a good hotel, staff are incredibly helpful yet discreet. Here, they can't even clean the room without being noticed. However, you can tell they've been trained this way, rather than it being their natural work style. So, if they were trained differently, these young people would significantly improve the service quality. Also, don't expect quick responses or help from anyone. It's better to go directly to reception and sort things out yourself. That's the most effective way, otherwise, you might drown in a Kafkaesque castle with a British surrealist twist. The room we stayed in was magnificent in terms of size and cleanliness. The shower wasn't working well, but they replaced it quickly. When walking around the room, the wardrobe wobbles and makes noise, but these are minor issues. I noticed signs of wood-boring insects in the safe cabinet, but didn't see the insects themselves, so they didn't cause any trouble. Food. The food here is very poor, compared to all the other places I've visited in the Philippines. A hotel aiming for a high rating shouldn't be serving microwaved store-bought pizza at such a price. If the food is cooked properly (grilled chicken breast, for example), it's invariably oversalted or overspiced. Or both at once. I couldn't find a single dish on the menu that was worth its price or genuinely tasty, except perhaps for the scrambled eggs at breakfast. But that's not enough if you plan to stay on the island all day, is it? Snorkeling costs 1000 pesos per hour for the boat and 100-200 pesos for equipment (each item separate: mask, fins, aqua shoes). The hotel staff claim the equipment is new, but that's not true. Aqua shoes are essentially unavailable in adult sizes (from 40 and up, we found only two old and torn pairs). The coral reef is dying after the typhoon, but there are still beautiful spots, and my wife and I don't regret snorkeling here. Especially since it was the only activity available on the island. To sum up, this hotel might suit those who want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world for a resort-style vacation with an average level of service but rather high prices for that level.

UuulissiThe hotel is in more private location compared to most resorts in Moalboal. This is a quiet area, with private access to the sea, which is very shallow and easily accessible, particularly during low tide. Resorts itself is nice, the pool was OK, diving also enjoyable, although cylinders were a bit on the empty side. Staff was always very nice. Unfortunately, food was not so good and overpriced, we had much better things to eat in other resorts or in town, which is 10-20 minutes away by tuk tuk.

GGuest UserI loved the pool, and the food was great. I am not a big fan of their breakfast, but I highly recommend their vegetable and mushroom or chicken and vegetable fried rice. The price was reasonable too. The location is quieter than other places I have stayed or came upon. It is far away from karaoke shops so you don't hear much singing than other places. The room was decent and clean, even though the bathroom could be bigger with better water pressure. Overall, I would like to stay here again.

BBaimajunzai2000Facilities: Hot water shower and air conditioning are good. But there are no other facilities in the room, no kettle, no hair dryer. You need to bring your own kettle, or go to the front desk to get a cup and pour water. Hygiene: The room is cleaned every day, but the swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. I don’t know how to maintain it, so I didn’t dare to go to the swimming pool. Fortunately, it’s close to the sea, so you can just swim in the sea. Environment: Both entering and exiting require a long and rugged road. Close to the sea, you can go snorkeling. It's just a hotel, without any star-level services provided, and there is a service fee charged at the end. It is incorrect to list it as a top-ranked local four-star hotel on Ctrip. There should be more options. Service: Unlike the diving shops in Bohol, there is no safety officer here. We took part in the snorkeling activity, because we went with divers, the guide was not very enthusiastic. There is no introduction leaflet for the event to refer to. However, it is indeed convenient to go to see the sardines. You can just take a boat and join the activity to get there. No need to go around town. Special reminder: this fee is not deducted by Ctrip, you need to pay in cash at the store. There is a reminder in the order, please be sure to bring enough cash.

KK.G.M.We loved staying in this location. Our room was right on the water, giving some breathtaking views morning and night. Lots of storage space and big bathroom. The hotel has a great diving center that also rents all kinds of snorkeling equipment too until later hours. Pool was clean and there was even a tipsy bar within it. Our only issue was very low water pressure in the shower which made washing long hair ia bit challenging. While you are away from the “mail” street in town, walk us about 8 min and there are few other hotels/ restaurants and activity companies located right next to hotel entrance

GGuest UserWonderful hotel! The views are stunning! The staff helps with transfers. The beach has some rocks, but it's not a problem as they are large. The water is clean and clear. Turtles even swim up to the beach! The only thing is its cliffside location. To get to your room, the beach, or out to the street, you'll need to use stairs, some of which are quite steep. If you have mobility issues, a heart condition, or struggle with endurance, this might not be the place for you. But if you're fine with that, definitely book it! You won't regret it! (Well, except for all the constant stair climbing, haha).

ТТатьянаЕExcellent staff, polite and helpful. When we booked the room, it was the first floor, but when we arrived, they settled us on the second floor with a sea view. It was very nice. Since people come to Malapascua mainly for diving, having a place to dry equipment is extremely necessary. We had a balcony where we could do this on the last day after diving. And the main thing is that after lunch the sun goes to the other side and there was shade on our side. It is important to wake up at dawn in order to admire the beautiful view and have time to put away the equipment. :) The hotel makes breakfasts for the time you specify. If you go out to sea at 6 am, then having made an order for 5 am, it will be waiting for you at the reception hot. I recommend!

HHelenLenThe location of the hotel is not the best. The room I stayed was facing a very noisy road filled with traffic noise and it’s surrounded by local houses with noisy roosters that start at 3:30 am. There’s no swimming pool as it shows in the pictures. It’s under frozen construction which was right over my room. There’s no hot shower. The owner is very sweet and welcoming! Very nice lady Ruby. She gave many useful tips about the island and helped with booking the diving course. If you’re not a diver, this place is not the best option for you. There’s not much to do on the island. It’s very undeveloped and there’s are only few stops to enjoy the beach life.
