Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing Beijing

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|1.25km from Hall of Middle Harmony (Zhonghe Dian)
My family is celebrating their birthday on the weekend. Thinking about it, I almost live in the suburbs of Beijing. After three years of epidemic, there is really no place to stay in a hotel in the suburbs of Beijing. This time I chose Wangfujing Oriental Mandarin MO in Beijing. Let me talk about the location first. Although I have lived in Beijing for decades and have never stayed in Wangfujing, I can clearly see landmarks such as the Great Hall of the People and the Forbidden City from the hotel this year. The hotel is convenient for going to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag-raising or the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Commercial Street. It is suitable for family travel without wasting time and energy. The hotel is just above Wangfu Central, which is convenient for shopping and eating. Opposite is Hamlet, the largest toy store in Beijing, and Wangfujing Commercial Street. Service: After checking in at the hotel, a handsome man led us into the room and introduced the hotel facilities. Since it was a birthday, the hotel also upgraded the room type for free. I heard that the children had a habit of napping in the afternoon and arranged a late check-out for us. The service cannot be said enough. Especially the professional and warm service provided by the front desk butler Alex Nana Jeff Lenny. Eat: The hotel’s steakhouse serves Western food and brunch. The Chinese food in the hotel is a Chinese restaurant called Zishan. We had a meal and the dishes were not to mention. The breakfast was semi-buffet and it was also at Zishan. The second MO in Beijing is about to open. It has a courtyard theme right at the front door. I look forward to experiencing it next time.

Beijing Tiananmenwangfujing Manxin Hotel

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|0.98km from Hall of Middle Harmony (Zhonghe Dian)
I can’t say enough how cute and chic this hotel is and it’s right in the middle of everything. Located in the heart on Dongcheng District. Just a 100 meters or so from Wangfujing street . There is a lot of colorful action there as this section of Wangfujing is basically is walkable mall so there are thousands of people out having fun getting ice cream and shopping . Very lively area. Located on Dong A Men Street The hotel is just a 12 minute walk from Subway line 1, especially great if you take the inexpensive train and subway connection from Daxing airport or Beijing International . No need to deal with taxis if you don’t want to.. There are great places to eat to the right or left of the hotel . Whether Peking duck or noodles. Whatever your heart desires, you won’t go hungry . There are also little shops for sweets, gifts, pastries or water. .Also not far from Tiananmen Square. Or the Forbidden city , about a 20-25 min walk. For the price the hotel is absolutely worth it and have seen a lot less comfort and dullness for a lot more . The place is updated and modern and the rooms look just like in the pictures on google or what have you. No disappoin**ent, No surprises, no filthiness, mold or peeling paint. We got the Superior Smart Room with window. There are so many nice things in the room like heated toilet seat, great high pressure shower , with head from high above , a fridge, white glass ,blue and gold tones throughout , power curtains( just yank a little on them and they open or close the rest of the way, nice! ) , nice cluster of buttons by the side of the bed with USB or to activate different light or things and just cool modern decor We decided to book breakfast with our stay which is an additional charge of $9, Sure you can eat cheaper outside if you just want a bowl of noodle but you will not be disappointed eating hear either, located on the 5th floor roof top This not a tea and biscuit or waffle and dried egg buffet. This is a full on staffed event with a cook working in the back . The choices of eastern and western food is endless. It’s very large .you will be satisfied . The 5th floor is the outdoor roof where u can sit and enjoy some fresh air and it also has an indoor lounge . The inside lounge has a microwave, a small couch, washing machines(1 or 2, don’t remember ) , two stationary bikes . A couch etc… a place to chill if you want . They have WiFi, though the staff helped me connect I couldn’t really get mine to work. Maybe you will have better luck . The staff is helpful and friendly though English is at a very very minimum. But that’s ok , hell we are in their country right? Just get out your google translate and they will translate back. I found this to be the best method of communicating. In the end , with all the benefits of proximity to food, attractions , subway we would not hesitate to stay here again. Really nice small hotel

Madison Hotel Wangfujing Tiananmen Beijing

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The hotel is ideally located in the city centre. Very close to the pedestrian street. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Palace Museum, so it’s relatively easy to eat. Transportation and shopping are very convenient. The hotel has complete facilities. The sanitary environment is also good. The service is also very good. When ordering takeout, a robot will deliver the food to the door of the room. All in all, I will visit again next time I come to Beijing.

The room space and layout are exactly the same as the hotel's promotion. I was worried about the hotel before I checked in, after all, everyone says that Beijing hotels have no service, poor hygiene, and small area. But I was surprised after checking in. Two beds can sleep a family of four without any problem. The transportation is also convenient, close to Tiananmen Square. There is a Qingfeng steamed bun shop on the left when you go out, which solves the breakfast problem.

The guest house of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is basically used by people on business trips. The overall quality is high. Only one night during my three-day stay there was an aunt next door who kept calling at midnight. Other than that, there was no sound that affected my sleep. , very friendly for people with sleep disorders. The hotel is in a good location. It is a five-minute walk to Tiananmen Square. The breakfast is rich, including Chaos noodles pancakes and buffet. The most important thing is that it is very clean. There are armed police and special police on duty 24 hours at the door, and thieves have to go around. Walking around, the facilities are average, and the TV has snowflakes, but these are not important. When I come to Beijing, I just walk around during the day and sleep at night. I will stay here again next time I come to Beijing.

The hotel is very close to Tiananmen Square! It is suitable for watching the flag-raising ceremony. The location is really good! You can also go to Wangfujing for dinner and shopping at night. However, the facilities are a bit old. They are not smart bathrooms. The decoration is not good in terms of hygiene, but it is okay to live in! It is mainly in the same location! The price is still very good! Super cost-effective

It's pretty good. I booked it for my parents. It's clean and the room is big. The only problem is that the gap between the door is a bit too big. I hope it can be improved. Also, if there are too many people staying, there will be no hot water at 10 pm. Everything else is good.

Great hotel close to Jingshan Park (< 5 minutes walk), BeiHai Park and Forbidden City. Simple but fine breakfast, staff is very friendly and helpful. One little disappointing thing... we booked this hotel (okay, in winter) for the open terrace on the fifth floor: for birdwatching with a beautiful view to Jingshan Park. But.... the terrace is closed during the winter and we were not allowed to use it.
