Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the check-in process quick and efficient. They even thoughtfully upgraded our room. The room itself was spacious and bright, with a stylish yet minimalist decor. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation access and plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of choices, combining both Western and Chinese dishes to suit different tastes. A special shout-out to the room service – they were very responsive and had an excellent attitude. All in all, this is a highly satisfying hotel, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

It’s my second time returning to this hotel, service and amenities were great - free breakfast, simple high tea snacks and supper, they even have all-day round tea/coffee/biscuits at the reception. 

Conveniently located near to Cai Hong Qiao (Rainbow Bridge) train station as well, although using their local taxi (Didi) is really cheap and fast. 

Room was great, especially the AI automation “小杜” which you can call out to turn on/off tv, lights and curtains. They have robots to handle your food delivery too!

Was especially grateful to front desk staff Katherine and 念安, who helped me a great deal in extending an extra night in the hotel, helping me to secure the same room despite them having tight availability. Super grateful for it. 

I have always recommended friends to this hotel and they have all given good reviews too!

I can't recommend this hotel enough! The location is absolutely perfect – the subway station is right across the street, making getting around super easy. Plus, it's just a 10-minute walk to Beijing Road for shopping and dining. The amenities are top-notch; not only do the rooms have smart assistants, but there's also complimentary tea and coffee, and a self-service laundry room. They really nailed the details. But what truly stood out was the impeccable cleanliness and the staff's genuinely warm service. Every corner was spotless, and their smiles were so sincere. A must-stay for anyone visiting Guangzhou!

The room felt very cozy, spacious, and the facilities were new. There's also a smart assistant, Xiaodu, which is very clever. The hotel has a laundry room, which was really convenient for our trip. The environment is great, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious and high quality. Plus, it's very close to TeeMall, making it super easy to get around. Even the rooms facing the main road weren't noisy.

My hotel stay was excellent! The service was superb, especially 'Little Cat' who was incredibly attentive and helpful. The breakfast selection was also very rich and varied.

This was my first time staying at a budget-friendly hotel like this, and it exceeded my expectations! Though not huge, the hotel was clean, tidy, and surprisingly smart. The only real downside was the small room. The service was great, and the location is fantastic, very close to Beijing Road and Shangxiajiu. Excellent value for money!

Traveling to Guangzhou with kids, I wanted a place close to the subway and with easy access to food. This hotel, newly renovated in 2025, was perfect! The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby on the first floor is bright and comfortable, and our room on the fourth floor was clean and tidy. It even had a Nuts camera, so high-tech! If you're visiting Guangzhou and want to stay in Liwan, I highly recommend this place.

The toilet in the bathroom was inconvenient; it kept flushing automatically, which wasn't a good experience. The bathroom also lacked ventilation and an exhaust system, so odors lingered. The soundproofing in each room was very poor. However, the staff had a good attitude and were very service-minded, although they seemed overwhelmed when it was busy. In the restaurant, they were constantly clearing plates, making it difficult to relax and eat; our food was taken away before we even finished. The variety of food wasn't great, especially the lack of fruit, so there wasn't much for kids to eat.

Came to Guangzhou for Chinese New Year and stayed at the Rezen Greentown Hotel Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town Taikoo Hui. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to major shopping centers like Taikoo Hui and Grandview Mall, making transportation very convenient. The rooms are well-equipped, and a special shout-out to the front desk staff, who were incredibly warm, friendly, and patient. They showed me around multiple rooms and, despite the tight availability during the holiday, managed to arrange a room extension and a room change for us. We're very grateful! I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou!

This was my first solo trip with family and friends, and I wanted a comfortable stay with convenient access to transportation. After comparing many hotels, I finally chose the Ibis Hotel Chen Clan Ancestral Temple branch.

Stepping out of the subway station, I was immediately pleasantly surprised: located in a bustling commercial area, it had everything – well-stocked large shopping malls, reputable chain stores, as well as lively local eateries tucked away in small alleys. And the famous Chen Clan Ancestral Temple was just a short distance away.

From the subway station, it was just a five-minute walk across the street to reach the hotel and check in. The front desk staff member was very friendly, gentle, and attentive. The entire hotel building had a subtle white tea scent, and the guest room environment was exactly as shown in the pictures and videos – clean, tidy, and odorless. The bed felt especially large and was very comfortable to lie on. Additionally, there was a wall-mounted TV, and by the window, there was a table, chairs, and a chaise lounge. The toilet in the bathroom was smart, and the shower's temperature control was easy to use, switching seamlessly between hot and cold. The mirror in the entryway had a makeup mirror function with adjustable brightness. The toiletries were replaced daily by the housekeeping staff. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff greeted us every time we entered or exited.

Who understands the joy of being surrounded by various Cantonese delicacies? We indulged in several fantastic meals, each one delicious! After eating, we could browse the outdoor market, take photos, and planes occasionally flew low overhead. The surrounding area was filled with sparkling lights and bustling crowds – it was very pleasant.

If I had to mention any drawbacks, there were two: First, our room was next to a residential building. On the first night, a group of men were drinking and chatting loudly downstairs, which lasted for a long time and disturbed our rest. Second, while the duvet and pillows felt soft to the touch, after sleeping on them for a while, the filling felt a bit 'chewy' and not fluffy enough.

However, these minor issues don't detract from the overall experience. I still believe this hotel offers one of the best value-for-money options among the budget hotels I've stayed at in Guangzhou over the past few years. I've already recommended it to my family and friends!

As a travel enthusiast, I came to visit Daqitou Ancient Village in Leping Town, Guangdong, to see its renowned traditional architecture. After the visit, I saw a well-known hotel brand, Yizhi Hotel, online. Upon entering the lobby, the friendly service from the bespectacled young man and pretty young woman was very welcoming. Tea was served upon check-in, and there was also a self-service coffee shop in the lobby, which was very appealing. The hotel even had a dedicated elevator, which was a great safety feature for someone like me who often stays in hotels alone. In my room, the receptionist had already informed me that it had a smart smart voice control system, perfect for someone like me who's a bit lazy. The room had a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window with a wide view. Speaking of their gym, laundry room, and restaurant, they're all on the 14th floor. Sitting by the window, you can see almost the entire town of Leping – fantastic! In the evening, I went to Jiaozhou Plaza across from the hotel for McDonald's and a movie – so convenient!

I chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the train station and Luohu Port. Arriving and checking in was indeed a breeze – no exposure to the elements, no long walk, which was a huge plus.

However, once I needed to leave the hotel and get a taxi, it was a completely different story. The entrances/exits, pedestrian walkways, and taxi stands around the train station are incredibly poorly designed. There's no convenient access point; you can't just step out of the hotel and grab a taxi directly. Instead, you have to navigate a complex, roundabout pedestrian route that's much longer than expected. There are no clear signs, so getting lost and taking unnecessary detours was a constant. 

This is incredibly inconvenient for travelers with luggage, or those with elderly family members and children. Even though the direct distance is short, it takes an extra ten minutes or more of walking just to find a taxi. Despite its prime location right by the train station, external traffic arrangements severely hamper travel efficiency. The hotel itself is fine, but if you plan on using taxis, I'd advise caution. For a simple overnight stopover after arriving, it's perfectly acceptable.
