Slow living to the max ~ From the architecture of the retreat, homecooked style meals to the cozy room - Everything is just right, without being too commercialised. The staff are very friendly too. As it was my friend’s birthday, the chef kindly prepared a longevity noodle and made a cake for her :) Really enjoy the warm hospitality.

p/s: The welcome snacks that they served at the lobby is so delish that we each bought two boxes back home.

The hotel is located next to the Qianlong Imperial Palace, seemingly secluded. The courtyard has a distinctly Suzhou-style garden feel, offering considerable privacy. A sign at the entrance reads ”Chen Shou's Former Residence.” It's generally not open to the public, making it perfect for someone like me who values privacy and doesn't want to be disturbed. The front desk staff were excellent, picking up the car, turning on the air conditioning in advance, and even upgrading us to a room with a private courtyard—we loved it! My wife also loves cheongsams, and the hotel offered many free options. She absolutely loved taking photos in the courtyard after trying them on. We'll definitely come back next time!

I was thinking, where to start describing this wonderful experience. I wanted to come to Yangzhou Qingpu a few years ago. It would be difficult to book a hot date room, so I have not been able to travel. This Christmas weekend, I suddenly thought of this store. At Trip.com , probably because winter is the off-season in Yangzhou, not only has rooms, but the price is also very beautiful. I immediately placed an order and set off with my husband and children to Yangzhou. This may be the best surprise that has been accidentally created this year!
The night before, Mr. Jiang Xiaolong, Qingpu, added me to WeChat and sent me a detailed location. When we checked in, we were greeted and took us into this unique building. The blue brick promenade, the light and shadow are staggered, and there is no end at a glance, like stepping into the maze of time. Quiet, very quiet, wooden door card swipe open the wooden door, in a spacious, excellent texture room, enjoy a leisurely slow time. In the public cultural and creative space, because there was a teacher Jiang accompanying the children to practice ink, wrong silver into painting, intangible experience, liberated parents, father enjoyed the undisturbed reading afternoon, I had a cup of flavor latte and a pot of glycol tea. (The hand-made experience is actually the brand of Xiaoye Zixuan and the real silver line, the pendants are beautiful, the children have been doing it very seriously for more than two hours, reluctant to stop). At night, the bathtub water encountered an unfamiliar faucet, and Mr. Jiang also rushed to help us debug and serve us warmly.
Although breakfast is a common Huaiyang snack set, the taste is excellent, and the children still miss the delicious bowl of eggs after returning. When we parted, we were very touched by giving the children a very commemorative gift. Because in winter, there are not many hotel guests, but the quality of service has not been reduced. My husband and I are also discussing, even the book bar is very stylish homestay, too expensive. I really will come again, and I look forward to this Qingpu business being prosperous, and more people will experience the unique culture and slow time of Yangzhou.
