Twiggy H.LeeJust got back from Dusit Princess Melaka and honestly, really happy with the stay. Got a room facing the Melaka River which made it so much better — woke up to a nice view and it's really relaxing especially in the evening with the lights along the river.
Room itself was big and fully equipped, felt more like a proper holiday stay than just a hotel room. One thing to note — it's not really walking distance to Jonker Street, more like a quick 5 min Grab ride away. But no complaints there because right next to the hotel there's already 2 Chinese hawker stalls, so kalau lapar tinggal jalan kaki je. There's also a KK Mart right there for snacks, drinks, or anything you forgot to pack, and a 24hr halal food store nearby too so late night cravings are sorted.
Overall solid stay — comfy room with a great river view, good amenities, and food options literally next door even if Jonker Street itself needs a short ride. Would stay again 👍

Sy1111I had a very pleasant stay at Baba House Melaka and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience.
I stayed on the ground floor and was pleasantly surprised that there was very little noise disturbance throughout my stay. The air-conditioning was excellent, which was especially appreciated in the hot weather, and the shower experience was fantastic — strong water pressure and very comfortable.
The breakfast selection was enjoyable, and the location made it very convenient to call a Grab whenever needed.
There were only two minor issues during my stay. I noticed a small area in the corner of the room that appeared to have some leftover sauce residue, possibly from a previous guest, and the bathroom sink drainage was slightly clogged. However, these were relatively minor compared to the overall positive experience.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Melaka. Thank you to the team for the hospitality!

SixiangdehudieHotels in Malacca generally seem a bit old and dated. The Courtyard by Marriott, however, is relatively new. There aren't many dining or entertainment options right around the hotel, so you'll need to venture out. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jonker Street (Red House area). The hotel facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the rooms are quite spacious. Luckily, there wasn't any strange smell, making for a comfortable and smart stay, and the TV even has screen mirroring. Since I was traveling with my middle school-aged daughter, I booked two rooms and requested connecting rooms, which the hotel arranged perfectly. The connecting door could be opened, making it feel like a suite, and it was very convenient as we each had our own space for showering and such. The hot water in the shower was excellent, but surprisingly, the bathtub in the king room was a bit impractical, with water splashing everywhere. The room has direct drinking water, which we used to boil water for tea. The front desk staff were quite friendly and allowed us a 1-hour late check-out. We didn't try the breakfast as we wanted to eat at Jonker Street. We also didn't get a chance to experience the pool, which we heard was great, due to time constraints. Behind the hotel seems to be an apartment building, and one evening, we passed by and saw about seven or eight dogs barking and chasing two guests who were casually strolling – quite a fright! A warning: avoid the dog territory behind the hotel.

Excellent location with plenty of great food nearby. The huge parking lot out front was a lifesaver for us, coming from out of town – super convenient. Plus, there's a pool where you don't even need a swimsuit! The front desk staff were all really friendly, and the room was spotless. Had a very comfortable stay.

amirhmzhWe had a really wonderful experience staying at The Sterling Boutique Hotel Melaka. From the moment we walked into the room, we were impressed by how clean and incredibly spacious it was. There was plenty of room to move around comfortably without feeling cramped at all.
The absolute highlight of the stay, though, was the bed. It was super comfortable—providing the perfect night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.
Parking was also convenient .
The hotel combines a great location with excellent comfort. If you are looking for a clean, relaxing, and spacious place to stay in Melaka, I highly recommend The Sterling. We will definitely be back!

Anonymous UserBooked the deluxe suite which was good and big for my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. And it comes with a small living area and mini kitchen which was good for preparing foods for kids.
Just one area which the hotel can improve will be that the room cleaning can be better, eg. We requested for room cleaning but when we were back, the toilet basin was not cleaned at all, stains were able to be seen, which was disappointing.

Samiy TanThis time I got a room on the opposite side instead of having a sea view like before. As long as there's a view, that's fine, but the Noble Resort is right next door (see picture).

Guest UserThis hotel isn't too far from Jonker Street, nor is it too close; it's quite near Dataran Pahlawan. A great and affordable dining option nearby is Family Corner. The hotel is very comfortable, with a swimming pool and a gym. All the in-room facilities worked well. The only downside is the carpeted floor, which can be a bit inconvenient as carpets are prone to getting dirty. Service was good.

Juliana TohPlace is very clean, maybe because the hotel is new. Facilities are in very good condition.
We drive so we do not mind the location, and there are shopping and F&B within both walking and driving distances.
However, we booked for 4, only received 2 bottles of water, 2 towels and 2 dental kits. We had to call for the balance which took an hour to be sent to the room. 1 toilet roll was given for the entire family which was also insufficient. This took another half an hour to be sent to us. We tried to offer to collect, but was told housekeeping will send.
Aircon compressor was situated right next to room wall, so we were hearing the compressor going on and off the entire night.
There's construction nearby but no noise pollution, probably due to it being a weekend.
Do note that public can use the lift up to rooms level as well, access card is not required to unlock the room levels.
Hotel lobby was extremely hot in the afternoon as it faced the west. There were no curtains or blinds that could be used to shield the staff and guests from the blinding sun.
Looking forward to the hotel improving on its service levels and lobby comfort.
