This hotel is genuinely exceptional. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with the friendliest of staff. It is located in a beautiful, historic building, which has been elegantly and tastefully restored and refurbished. The rooms are exquisite: spotless, tastefully appointed and extremely comfortable. The hotel is next to an ancient and historic cathedral, and is superbly located in the centre of this delightful old hill-top town, within a short distance of the coast and a wide range of activities. There is a stunning bar/garden at the hotel, where you can relax and take in the spectacular scenery whilst having a drink and some delicious tapas. The hotel also has a superb rooftop swimming pool with amazing views. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the staff - whether on reception, at the bar or at breakfast (in fact wherever they are!) - are all really friendly and very helpful. Oleguer and Anna, who run the hotel, are always incredibly helpful and friendly - they go out of their way to make your stay an incredible memory. I would throughly recommend this truly wonderful hotel.

The hotel is very well located to visit the old Castelló d'Ampuries and the surroundings and consists of a private parking. The room i bathroom is completely renovated. The very complete and appetiteful breakfast.

MUY POCO EMPATICOS!!! Des del primer momento no nos han dado ningun tipo de facilidad!! Para nada es un hotel familiar y solo van a por el negocio! CUIDADO!!! NO reserveis directamente con ellos son peseteros y no te devuelven el dinero si cancelas! QUE NO OS ENGAÑEN con la idea de que estan cerca del Skydive si por mala suerte o inclemències del tiempo os anulan el vuelo, el hotel no empatiza para nada contigo y no quiere anular la reserva! Solo modificar fecha y no las veces que necessites, por supuesto!! Maria la DIRECTORA muy poco simpatica, se hizo pasar por una trabajadora cualquiera para decirnos que NO queria anular la reserva. Muy poco profesional por su parte. Y por si esto fuera poco (que no lo es) el hotel para nada merece la pena, las habitaciones son muy viejas y todo el deja mucho que desear!

We have been hosted a weekend with two little girls, they gave us a apartment one room and in the dining room two sofas. When they went to complain, they told us that there was nothing more, we are talking about a nine-stage building early in May (not high season), we asked them for sawns and coats and it seems that it was not your pleasure for that request. The apartment is located on the back of the hotel, where several music bars are located ...Try to sleep ... is to have luck with the young people's fights and music without limit. I won't come back or recommend it

We spent 10 days in this residence we took a apartment for 5 people very clean at our arrival but I've still spent a little swing in the bathroom and toilet, The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The very clean swimming pools one down and one on the roof with beautiful views, there are always free and never too many people so very pleasant and resting. The staff is devoted and super pleasant and everything is near without being too close to the center so quiet but there's some negative point to know we took a parking place for more comfort but unfortunately ill-raising gns is station before your place and you can no longer have access to the place you have paid we have reported but the staff will not be able to do anything so a little pity especially when you have paid and that other one allows to park to take it off, the bathroom a little vetety you should refresh a little and the sofa click really not comfortable we had very very bad back it's awful to pay a apartment consider for 5 people and sleep on an old sofa not comfortable I think it's to see again!! But otherwise in the whole it was very nice
