The hotel is very clean and tidy. The biggest feature of the room is the floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the window is very clear. Although there is no bustling Michigan Avenue, it is still good! There is a bar on the 18th floor of the hotel, not big. The hotel has a restaurant on the left side of the hotel entrance, named Somerset, in the room can also book this restaurant in the room dinning, about twenty or thirty minutes to deliver the meal to the room. I really like the bathroom's minimalist wash suit, which is white tea, especially fragrant and comfortable. Shopping, dining and entertainment are nearby. Not far from there are Chinese restaurants, such as Imperial Lamian, Old Sichuan, MingHin Cuisine, Shanghai Terrance, which are just a few minutes from Uber. Royal chef and old Sichuan are very popular! It is also 10 minutes from the hotel to the famous scenic spot Michigan Avenue, which is also close to Navy Pier and Millennium Park. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation in the hotel is not good, the guests from the opposite side of the room can hear the opening of the door, but the overall is good!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at WA-Chicago and this is our first time staying at WA in the United States. Last WA stay was in Thailand where the experience was superb! Reservation was easy via the app and the concierge emailed me a week in advance asking if there was anything they can do to prepare of our stay. I had a terrible experience with a Hilton hotel in Las Vegas in Dec 2022 where a stranger opened my hotel door at 11:20 pm. I am still experiencing PTSD so I asked if the concierge can provide anything lavender (scent/oil) so I can be relaxed. Also, since it's our wedding anniversary, perhaps anything in that theme would be nice. First the concierge addressed me as Mr instead of Mrs. Unsure why one automatically thinks that it's the man who made the hotel booking. Second, the concierge wasn't able to meet my requests which was non-issue. We declined turn-down service but requested chocolate where they were never delivered during our stay. A robe was missing in the closet and room service delivered it immediately. There wasn't any coffee or tea in the room but the dining service delivered my hot tea in 30 minutes which was acceptable. The bed was comfortable but sound insulation wasn't great since we could hear neighbors' chatting at midnight. We used the steam/sauna for 30 minutes before checking out and the spa was a nice facility. The hotel is nicely located in the Gold Coast area where it is closed to many lovely restaurants. The reception area is kind of small and there were 2 guest service staffs assisting with check-in/out.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. Can only say that the location of the hotel is very good, on the gorgeous mile head, next to the Water tower place, downstairs is the Canon goose and other monopoly, walk to the famous, beautiful Lake Michigan, 4, 5 minutes, go to the 360 Chicago Building Just 2 minutes, and the favorite Chicago Art Museum! Chicago travel is a great choice, breakfast is a standard American breakfast! They are all single-pointed. Looking for a good season to go to Chicago, will choose this hotel, it is best to choose a lake view room!

I stayed with my mother-in-law for mother's day this May. I heard so many good things about this hotel brand but never had a chance to try. Everything was gorgeous and luxurious except for the swimming pool. I loved the decorations of the hotel lobby. Looked so much high class just like I expected from The Ritz-Carlton. This was my first stay at The Ritz-Carlton hotel and I really enjoyed it. I got 20% off from the restaurant due to my platinum status. Food was delicious and price was reasonable but I wouldn't say it blew my mind. Gym was very spacious with lots of equipment. Some areas even have lake view. Pool was okay size with lanes but didn't feel luxurious pool at all. I couldn't get room upgrade to lake view but they gave me room #1902 and it had both city and lake view. The receptionist said that they do not count under 20th floor as lake view but my room had a fantastic lake view. You will need to ask them to give you 19th floor room facing lake so you could enjoy both city and lake view. I highly recommend this room if you want luxurious staycation. This was my first stay at The Ritz-Carlton but certainly will not be the last one!

The service to get a coffee at breakfast was terrible, really made to feel like an inconvenience by the two girls working and they couldn’t have been more miserable towards. Choice was also very slim. The room was exceptionally noisy - the air con was broken (only stuck on high) and there was a constant loud humming ALL night and day, from a vent which was hanging from the ceiling. Something was making loud banging noises from about 3-6am, we had to call reception after two nights of this but it continued. Overall massively disappointed for the price, we left tired and annoyed. We didn’t have any housekeeping the whole three days - we paid over $800 for these three days so this was more than unacceptable. The room also stunk of **** on second night - we think someone was smoking next door. It was really off putting.

The Ambassador Hotel, where scenes from the 1959 classic movie ”North by Northwest” were filmed, is glorious. The iconic lobby has been completely refurbished since North by Northwest, and it's gorgeous. The bar off the lobby is chic and very pleasant. The staff at the hotel could not be nicer. I stayed at the Ambassador in April and May 2021 during a family emergency. The staff was extraordinarily kind to me, which meant a lot when I was under stress. I came back in June 2022 under happier circumstances. Staff members like Wayne, Kenzie and Francisco either remembered me or were very diplomatic about pretending to remember me! Anyway, they and the rest of the staff--including the excellent housekeeping/cleaning staff-- again made me feel right at home at the Ambassador. It was great to be back.

At the beginning, there was a problem with collecting money. Ctrip charged the room rate. The hotel charged it again. After communicating with Ctrip, it was resolved in a few days. The hotel returned the room rate. Ctrip actively helped solve the problem. The only bad thing was the hotel reservation. The taxi is not metered, it feels a bit pitted. Use Uber. Don't let the hotel book a car.

Cheap, convenient transportation, 10 minutes walk from Fullerton subway station, take the bus to the city center, the subway is half a small. Located in a residential area, the surrounding environment is good and quiet. The public restrooms and showers are hygienic, the waiters are warm and friendly, and a complimentary, simple American breakfast is served, and freshly made popcorn is provided free of charge from noon to evening. There is a 24h self-service laundry room, washing powder + laundry + dry clothes for a total of 4 dollars can wash a large cylinder of clothing. There is a kitchen to cook your own meals, and a refrigerator to store food. Next to the Fullerton subway, there is a large supermarket with plenty of food and vegetables.
