The good :
Located in an attractive, established village on the high ground above Rouen and the Seine.
Plentiful parking and secure store for bikes.
Bike rental on site.
Clean throughout.
Lovely garden
High standard and reasonably priced evening meal served inside or on the patio.
Our room had a balcony overlooking garden.
Not so good:
No AC
On our second night with the window open to cool the room we could hear folk chatting on the patio just below our window. They had finished their dinner and were just chatting. However, it kept us awake.

For an 11am Newhaven to Dieppe cussing this hotel is perfectly placed - only an hour from Dieppe and just on the outskirts of Rouen. Adults with mobility issues might struggle with the entrance steps. Breakfast and dinner were perfect and the staff were charming and friendly. All the rooms face the rear garden and all have a veranda. We were in room 106 and the veranda was almost as large as the room. The kettle in the room was a bonus although the paper cups provided let it down. Just a lovely place to stay. Although beware that the restaurant may not be open on Sunday evenings. Immaculate gardens with quirky sculptures.

Nous avons déjeuné en semaine dans ce restaurant avec la formule "Bistrot" Nous avons aimé, formule entrée et plat à 18€ ou entrée, plat, dessert à 22€ Prix raisonnables avec un bon rapport qualité prix. De même pour les vins et le café. Nous y retournerons. Dommage que ce restaurant ne soit pas ouvert le dimanche
