Hotels near Seed and Smith in Denver

This week, the restaurant staff, especially David Kookie and Jessica Voh, waited on the 100+ customers each day they had breakfast here. Besides the fact they served so many people at once, my husband and I were amazed at the effectiveness they demonstrated. They prepared the breakfast area with polished silverware, fresh coffee, replenished serving bowls with fresh fruit, sustained clean tables while keeping attentiveness with coffee refills and table checking for each of them with positive and respectful attitudes. They deserve much credit along with the rest on on staff this past week keeping pace with such volume of customers while staying cheerful.

Really clean and friendly staff !! It was near downtown and 10 minutes walk to the Convention Center, so it was really nice !! I liked the facilities such as microwave oven and sink so much, and the breakfast was good for breakfast!!

Always welcomed with a smile, great staff, helpful. Clean, quiet rooms. Great shuttle service, drivers are always nice and they’re careful with my bags, always on time, no crazy driving! Will definitely be back again!

First off let me say the management at this hotel is the worse I have ever experienced , on my stay of September 19th I got ready and went out to eat as coming back into my room I saw a bed bug and called down to the front desk to express my concern to management and show her the picture of the bed bug and they switched me rooms, as I was looking around in the new room I saw that the fire alarm was tapped off allowing no air to enter it to sense smoke , I brought these concerns to the front desk lady the next morning and she told me management would be getting in contact with me waited all day and heard nothing I called them and got laughed at and made it seem like it wasn’t a concern to them and they said they inspected both rooms and found no bed bugs or alarm taped up , as far as the bed bugs go they don’t just disappear by them selfs , as for the hotel I was never comped my room or a sorry from anymore on the property just be careful saying here

Good features: (1) Place has a dinosaur motif - lots of bones and artifacts in the lobby and dining area, lots of murals all around stairs and exterior walls, there's a 'dino expert' on duty 7am-10am Fri-Sun in lobby, with lots of toy dinosaurs to do 'show & tell.' (2) Generally quiet area - it's set of the main road by a side street, with plenty of parking. (3) Beds and rooms comfortable. (4) Hot breakfast with variable choices each day - sometimes link sausages, sometimes corned beef hash, etc., although their potatoes were less than MacDonald's quality. Not good features: it's a pet-friendly place, and they do try and locate pets along one or two of their four 'wings.' Except we are not dog owners, and were put into one of the 'dog wings,' unbeknownst to us, for our 5-day stay. Generally not a problem, except next door to us there was a 'yapping' dog over the weekend. Their owners just left the dog alone in their room for hours at a time, and the dog was understandably upset and constantly yapping and whining. We complained to night manager, who simply stated: ”dog owners do this all the time, there's nothing I can do since they're not in their room.” He suggested we take it up with manager in the morning, which we did. She stated that night mgr could have called the dog owners on their cell and told them to come back to room, since hotel has everyone's cell phone numbers. She also said we could have requested a room away from dog wings when we first checked in, but how is one to know to ask for that? We suggested that in the future they have a sign at front desk that states just that - if you don't want to be in the dog wings, ask for a room in the non-dog wings. Manager did give us 10% off our bill for our inconvenience. Note: We don't dislike dogs; we just dislike bad dog owners who leave their pets unattended for hours at a time in a strange room

Surprisingly nice hotel. My room was clean and well maintained. I was especially impressed by the comfort of the mattress and the softness of the sheets. Water pressure in the shower was not good, so I’m going to knock of a star for that. Also, the “down” button outside the elevators on the third floor was missing, so if you wanted to head down to the lobby, you had to hit the “up” button to summon the elevator. I could see this being a problem when the hotel is busy and many people are trying to use the elevators. Breakfast was ok. Not amazing, but adequate and definitely better than other “free” breakfasts I’ve had at hotels. There’s not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so I think that’s why it’s cheaper than many of the hotels in the area. However, it’s convenient to the Mile High stadium which I was the location of the event I was in Denver for.

We had two rooms for two nights and one room for three nights (one traveler went solo elsewhere). The staff was very nice and the rooms were modern and well-maintained. The parking was plentiful, but to find a space meant a five minute walk to an attached but distant lot. Nice lobby. No breakfast include. Overall, a good value.

It is very close to Union Station and 16th Street. There is a free bus to and from the State Capitol and the station on 16th Street. There is a light rail to the airport for $ 10.5 at Union Station. It is very convenient to buy a self-service machine.

We did not stay here (I gave the rating a five star just based on service). However, I spoke to Corey at the front desk at 3:00 a.m. from out of state and he was beyond helpful. My daughter is traveling across country and we had no idea where to stay. He worked with me to pull up maps, discuss which Marriott properties might be best for her truck and trailer, etc. He was honest and said their property was too far off her destination but he gave me options and was knowledgeable about the various area(s). Most importantly, he was patient with me and just tremendous.
