Best Five Star Hotels in Hangzhou

I really enjoyed my stay here, I will definitely book this hotel again. They have an ok pool on the third floor, and a pretty good gym for a hotel. The biggest problem is that the gym and pool are probably run by different companies so they didn’t provide towels, they didn’t provide water, the locker room for the gym isn’t really that clean. BUT! I liked having a gym + pool, it’s not that bad for the hotels pricing. The hotel itself is a bit old, the bathroom is really old! But staff was helpful, they had the robot service for when I ordered 外卖.

Hotel is located at 体育场路, it has a passage way for drop off which is a plus point for us as we need not soak in the rain while transporting our luggage. The hotel has a small gym room which is great. We could burn the extra fat after some Hangzhou food delicacies. Everything is excellent except the cleanliness of the hotel room. First and foremost, there is a huge urine smell in the dry toilet area. We have requested for the cleaning lady to help to get rid & clean the toilet however no action has been taken. Then we noticed the bed we slept in actually has bed bugs. We have super sensitive skins (u may refer to the pic attached), we woke up at 1.30am to apply ointment due to itchiness :(

The hotel is in great location. Just few minutes from the West lake so you can take a refreshing and peaceful walk by the lake in the early morning. The hotel has buffet for lunch and the variety of food is really amazing! Lots of fresh and high quality seafood! The rooms are all decorated in the nice Hangzhou style, adding to the wonderful memories of staying there. The personal of the hotel is very friendly, polite and always trying to help if needed.

Very good hotel, it's the 3rd time and I'm never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and got upgraded. The suite room is clean and has a comfortable bathtub. The bed is big with different pillows to choose from. The breakfast has western and chinese food with a good selection. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

First time in Hangzhou . Shangri-La has never failed to impress me . Very accommodating. Location is very near to wulin night market . Would like to stay longer but had to catch next day flight . Only issue is not getting point for Shangri-La member ….

It was a nice stay. Location is good, right in Coral Gables downtown. I would say that there are no kettles in the room but you can ask for it and they will send you one. The room charges won’t go against deposit, instead you have the pay and after you do the check out they will release the deposit back to you. For Chinese travelers this might seem odd.

Excellent location - next to west lake and close to everything (good restaurant grandmom’s house is next door also local convenient store ) The decorations are rich with expensive materials. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel also provide free west lake yacth tour . Highly recommended

Fantastic service, very friendly staff. Rooms are well airconditioned and beds are very comfortable. good water pressure and heating. moreover hotel allowed us to check out a little later so that our 1 year old daughter could have a midday nap.

The location is brilliant - right next to the river. The evening view from the window was fantastic. If you're into running, there's a great running path that follows the river. Perfect!!! The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade when we arrived (although not sure what the upgrade included since the room looked pretty much like what we had booked). The room itself was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom looked nice at first, but then the shower drain didn't work properly and when checked it was clogged up. The water from the shower kept spilling through to the toilet cabin - the sealing between the two needs checking. The overhead shower didn't look clean and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. We had an air purifier in the room (I guess that was the upgrade?) but it kept switching off after a minute. And for some reason the hair drier only worked in the socket next to the window. We were really looking forward to sitting by the pool in the evening, but we were told that we had to pay 1,000 RMB to use that area in the evening. That should have been made clear in the hotel description since one of the reasons we booked this hotel was so we could admire the view in the evening from there. Overall, very happy with the location but the bathroom needs repairs.

West Lake Villa is located on the bank of West Lake. It is built along the mountain slope and blends in with the West Lake landscape. The mountains and lakes are dependent on each other. The villa is full of greenery and picturesque scenery. Outside the villa, Su Causeway faces each other, Bai Causeway overlooks, isolated islands depend on each other, and Yue Temple is adjacent. West Lake Villa makes full use of the original ecological landscape characteristics of the site, creating scenery according to the situation, garden setting and culture as the scenery, creating the characteristics of ”secretness, lushness, elegance and appreciation”. The buildings of the villa cannot be seen from the outside. When you enter the villa, there are lush trees and elegant scenery. The six buildings depend on each other to form a beautiful picture. When I first saw the May 4th Constitution, I thought it had something to do with the May 4th Movement. After a closer look, I discovered that it was China’s first constitution in 1954. Make no mistake! ! The facilities in the hotel are very modern. The curtains have electric switches, the bathtub curtains can automatically set atomization, and the bathrooms are all smart toilets. What needs to be mentioned is that the flowers indoors are real flowers, not plastic flowers. At first I thought they were plastic flowers when I saw such blooming flowers! The drinks in the refrigerator are free, and snacks with local Hangzhou characteristics are delivered every day (I don’t know if it’s a New Year’s Day discount). Maybe everyone is concerned about whether there is a parking lot if you drive by yourself? You can park in front of each building. If you can't park, there is a special underground parking lot. If it is an electric vehicle, you can use the charging pile to charge your Baoju. Parking is free for hotel guests. The hotel's restaurant is very atmospheric, with a variety of meals to choose from. Mainly Chinese style, supplemented by Western style. You can experience a lot of authentic Hangzhou cuisine here. It is worth mentioning that there is actually natural honeycomb honey that can be eaten. The honeycomb honey hanging on the shelf is very spectacular! The very, very important reason I like it here is the tranquility. Although the West Lake is outside, and people come and go during New Year's Day, and there is a constant flow of people on the street until midnight, but it is quiet inside the hotel courtyard, undisturbed by the noise outside. It can be quiet or noisy, switch as you like.
