I wanted to see the sunrise of the torii of the shrine, and I went on a GoTo trip in December. The hotel is in front of Isomae Jinja shrine and about 3 minutes walk from the entrance to the torii of the shrine. The location is outstanding. When I went out, there was no one at the front desk, and no one came out even if I rang the bell. I had no choice but to put it on the table. Other than that it was very good and had no problems. If you have people going out at night, please remember that the curfew is 23:00. Like me, you end up paying for a taxi unnecessarily.

This hotel is lovely. It feels very grand inside. We are a family so we had to book two rooms as there didn't seem to be an option for all of us in one room, but maybe that's all that was available. We didn't book breakfast each day in advance, but the first day we ate a wonderful Western breakfast in the courtyard restaurant. We hoped for the same the second day, but they only had a Japanese option. Fair enough as we didn't inform them ahead of time. It's in a good location with walking distance to a convenience store.

It is not very near the train station but walkable. Lobby is very spacious and roomy. Staff are very attentive. Enjoyed the onsen a lot! The onsen amenities are good (yakult are offered after morning bath while ice cream are offered after dinner bath, there is also a room filled with manga for your entertainment next to the bath). We were given a corner room and the vent was very noisy. The bed is moderately hard and so were the pillows. However, upon request, they changed us another room without much hesitation. They are also very prompt with their service when extra pillows were requested.

It is very beautiful, probably because it is new. It helps me to be flexible when booking. There is only one smoking room, so it doesn't help, but there is still a lot of peculiar smell.
