"Facilities: Basic toiletries are conveniently self-service and available by the elevator. Service: The front desk staff's English is good, and they patiently guide you through the check-in process. Environment: It's very close to the station, so all your usual food, drinks, and convenience stores are within 500m. The rooms are much larger compared to typical Tokyo accommodations. P.S. For my fellow Chinese compatriots who need hot water, remember to ask the front desk for a kettle, as it's not standard in the rooms. You can leave it in the room when you check out. Breakfast: Simple, just sandwiches and coffee or black tea. You'll definitely need to supplement it if you plan an active morning. If you want to pack it to go, you'll need to bring your own bag. The good thing is it starts early, from 7 AM."

"The hotel's facilities are really great. I chose a huge tatami room all to myself, though people from my country might not be used to sleeping on tatami. The only downside to the room was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but thankfully there's a door, and closing it helped a lot. Both the room and the restaurant face the sea and the harbor, so the view is absolutely unparalleled. As for the location, it's a bit on the outskirts with no commercial areas nearby; it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach dining and shopping spots. All hotel guests receive a complimentary hot spring ticket. Their hot spring also faces the sea. The infinity hot spring pool is definitely the biggest highlight! The entire hot spring area is very modern and beautifully designed. However, it's spread across 7 floors, and you have to undress upstairs and downstairs, with shoe storage and showering not in the same area, which makes the process a bit confusing and overwhelming."

"The room was actually quite spacious, bright, and comfortable, with clean beds and a fantastic full ocean view. However, the facilities were a bit dated. Also, probably due to staff shortages, the hotel offered guests staying multiple nights a 2000 JPY credit per night if they opted out of housekeeping, which could be used at the hotel's outlets. The hotel's location was a bit tricky to find. Arriving at night, the navigation led us through small alleyways and stone steps. Carrying luggage up those steps was quite a struggle 😰, and after descending the stone steps, we still had to climb a slope… 😂. I'd recommend taking a taxi if you're arriving late! Overall, this hotel was very comfortable, and it was a pleasant end to our in-depth trip."

The sense of space is remarkable, blending modern elements with a relaxed, Japanese resort ambiance. 2️⃣ Attention to Detail The hotel's meticulous attention to detail is truly impressive: hidden TVs, smart home controls throughout, and a private, temperature-controlled, auto-filling hot spring tub on the balcony are all incredibly practical. The mattresses and bedding are from premium brands, and even the restaurant uses WMF cutlery. These details show that the hotel isn't just focused on appearances; it's genuinely committed to perfecting its offerings. 3️⃣ Hospitality and Experience The overall operation demonstrates a sophisticated approach to hospitality. The hotel covers the taxi fare between the JR station and the hotel, and the mini-bar in the room is entirely complimentary. While these are small touches, they highlight the hotel's dedication to enhancing the guest experience. 4️⃣ Dining Experience Breakfast follows a refined Kaiseki-style with a French rhythm, served course by course, with the entire meal lasting nearly an hour. The dishes are few but of excellent quality, truly a 'small but exquisite' culinary journey. 5️⃣ Service Experience While Japanese hotels generally offer good service, this one particularly touched me. Nightly turndown service, the staff's consistent smiles, the omelet chef at breakfast proactively delivering dishes to our table, and the patient and detailed assistance from a Chinese-speaking front desk employee all made the entire stay incredibly warm and pleasant. 6️⃣ Location and View The hotel boasts a convenient location with an almost unobstructed, front-row ocean view. The most enjoyable moments were soaking in the private hot spring on the balcony, gazing out at the sea – truly a quintessential vacation feeling. Overall, this is a high-end hotel that strikes an excellent balance in design, service, views, and quality. The experience is almost flawless. If you're planning a trip to Atami, it's definitely a top choice. 💯 A perfect score for this hotel."

"An absolutely amazing experience! It's just a 5-minute walk from Atami Station and also 5 minutes from the beach, making the location incredibly convenient. The room was exactly like the pictures, even better in person – very spacious and clean. The proprietress was exceptionally warm and attentive, providing us with a lot of help. On the day we left, she even drove us to the station. It was a perfectly wonderful stay, so much so that I'd come back to Atami just for this inn! Highly recommend!"

"The room was clean and uncluttered, and the amenities were all the bare minimum. All the meals were delicious, and while the main fish and meat dishes were brought to you by staff, if you wanted more you could pick up food from the buffet corner - a style I've never experienced anywhere else, but I thought was great. I was traveling alone, and the style was comfortable for a solo traveler, allowing me to enjoy leisurely meals in the morning and evening. The cold pumpkin soup at dinner was particularly delicious, and I had seconds. I wondered how they managed to create that flavor... It became a memorable taste of my trip."

"There were very few Chinese guests, mostly Japanese families on vacation. We were probably among the rare Chinese guests at this hotel. We chose the Horizon room type, which comes with two private onsen baths. They aren't huge, but they are impeccably clean. Dining was at Ocean, about a 15-minute walk away. The upside is that it's perfect for a leisurely stroll back to your room after dinner to digest your meal. Atami feels like a mini-Chongqing, with very genuine and friendly locals. I'd definitely visit again."

"The hotel sign is easy to find; just turn left as soon as you exit the station and you'll see it immediately. Furthermore, check-in time is from 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM, making it ideal for those staying only one night and not having high accommodation requirements. Thank you very much."

"This hotel offers stunning hilltop views of the sea, especially beautiful at night. Make sure to take a taxi from the station, as there's a very steep hill to get there. The hotel service is excellent, and the place is clean and tidy. We booked a corner room with dual-aspect windows, and it even had a bathtub. Enjoying a drink on the balcony while admiring the night view was a highlight. There's also a fantastic teppanyaki restaurant at the foot of the hill (no English menu, though) that's delicious and reasonably priced."

"This is one of the best onsen hotels we have stayed. Great ambiance, amazing infrastructure and interior. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious too! Even it’s located a bit far up, but with taxi, it’s very accessible. I would recommend all visitors to stay with Soki Atami!"
