"I really liked the hotel. It's conveniently located, but only if you have a small suitcase. There's a shuttle to the train station. The nearest store is a seven-minute walk along the embankment. The room was on the 8th floor, which was convenient for leaving the hotel since the exit is on the roof. The room was clean and had everything you need. The view from the room was stunning."

"The quad room was very spacious, allowing each child to have their own double bed. The overall stay was excellent; the facilities were new and clean, the staff friendly, and the amenities superb, all set in a beautiful environment. I highly recommend the half-board option (dinner and breakfast). Both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes and fresh, sweet sashimi. The complimentary late-night ramen was incredibly fragrant and, in my opinion, even better quality than what you'd find at Dormy Inn. There were two minor downsides: Firstly, while the hotel is close to Atami Station, there's a flight of several dozen steps between the hotel and the station. Walking up these stairs to get to Atami Station or the shopping street can be quite strenuous. Alternatives include a not-so-frequent shuttle bus, a public bus from the hotel's seaside exit to the station (230 yen for adults), or a taxi to the station (around 900 yen). Secondly, we were assigned a room on the fourth floor of the North Wing, and our balcony directly faced the air conditioning units on the roof of the Central Wing. Taking a bath in the outdoor onsen on the balcony was extremely noisy. We had to close and lock the glass door between the balcony and the room to avoid hearing the AC noise inside the room."

"Facilities: Basic toiletries are conveniently self-service and available by the elevator. Service: The front desk staff's English is good, and they patiently guide you through the check-in process. Environment: It's very close to the station, so all your usual food, drinks, and convenience stores are within 500m. The rooms are much larger compared to typical Tokyo accommodations. P.S. For my fellow Chinese compatriots who need hot water, remember to ask the front desk for a kettle, as it's not standard in the rooms. You can leave it in the room when you check out. Breakfast: Simple, just sandwiches and coffee or black tea. You'll definitely need to supplement it if you plan an active morning. If you want to pack it to go, you'll need to bring your own bag. The good thing is it starts early, from 7 AM."

"The hotel is quite close to the station, but since I arrived at night, it took some effort to find, and the road from Atami Station has a bit of a slope. The cleanliness and breakfast were just average, nothing special, but acceptable. What I was unhappy with was that the washing machine and dryer were too old, and even the hotel staff didn't know how to use them. In the end, another guest staying nearby had to show me how."

"The hotel's facilities are really great. I chose a huge tatami room all to myself, though people from my country might not be used to sleeping on tatami. The only downside to the room was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but thankfully there's a door, and closing it helped a lot. Both the room and the restaurant face the sea and the harbor, so the view is absolutely unparalleled. As for the location, it's a bit on the outskirts with no commercial areas nearby; it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach dining and shopping spots. All hotel guests receive a complimentary hot spring ticket. Their hot spring also faces the sea. The infinity hot spring pool is definitely the biggest highlight! The entire hot spring area is very modern and beautifully designed. However, it's spread across 7 floors, and you have to undress upstairs and downstairs, with shoe storage and showering not in the same area, which makes the process a bit confusing and overwhelming."

"The room was very spacious, perfect for two adults and two children. We had dinner at the hotel, the ”Seasonal Kaiseki Cuisine,” which was quite good. "It is a 10-minute walk to get there. You will need to use the stairs if you are coming from Atami Station. The room is very traditional Japanese. I had some Japanese Sake (Izu Sake) for free. You can get free beer, tea and coffee. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. He helped us wash laundry for free. He also gave us a lift back to Atami Station. I was able to relax in the public bath and have some private time twice. There was a projector that allowed you to watch YouTube and Netflix. I would like to come again."

"The hotel boasts two outdoor hot springs and one indoor hot spring, all of which are excellent. There's also free karaoke, a billiards hall, and a mahjong table available for rent. There's also a shogi room and a manga room. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus from Atami Station; no application is needed, just queue 10 minutes in advance. If you're walking, it's closer to Kurumiya Station, about a 15-minute downhill walk that's not tiring. Perfect for a walk after visiting Kurumiya Shrine and the plum garden. You can easily walk to the hotel to check in. The famous Itonokawa cherry blossom path is right next to the hotel, which is very beautiful. "Overall, it was good, and the service was very patient. When we arrived at Atami Station, we called ahead and they immediately sent a car to pick us up, and also dropped us off at the station when we checked out. Actually, it's not far from Atami Station, but the many ups and downs and stairs make it inconvenient with luggage. They really wouldn't let us store our luggage; the front desk staff were all elderly and said they closed at 5 PM, so they were worried we wouldn't make it back in time. We ended up storing our luggage in a locker at Atami Station, which was also convenient. It's essentially a family-run guesthouse, and most of the service staff are elderly, so many unpleasant experiences might have been due to language barriers. I highly recommend the full Japanese-style meal; it's exquisite, delicious, and feels very ceremonial."

Very satisfied with a stay experience, the room was very large, clean and comfortable. All balconies face the sea and bring 𠕇 private hot spring baths. Our family of five booked three rooms on two websites. The hotel contacted us in advance to learn about the height of the guests (with suitable bathrobes) and eating habits, specially for the cooked food that is not eaten raw. Dinner and breakfast are very delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The menu for two days has changed. The fish has lobster, sweet shrimp and various local season fresh fish and salmon. The cows are also fried in place, suitable for your requirements! The rooms are modern and simple and combine the style of traditional Japanese-style hotels. We have two Japanese-style rooms and one Western-style rooms, which are quite satisfactory to each other.  Lounge on the eighth floor, facing the sea to taste cold, hot coffee and green tea, Japanese snacks and fruits, but also can be soaked in the feet from the balcony, you can get a good rest without the shop! The seventh floor has a good view and complete outdoor style... All the staff of the hotel are very warm, courteous and very professional! This is the most satisfying hotel for our family's vacation in Japan. We feel 100 points of the hotel and meet again next year!

The views are lovely , the cleanliness is on a good level , the staff is attentive and responsive.the meals included are served buffetstyle in a huge room with seaside views. Excellent hotel. Beautiful, clean, traditional. The onsen was beautiful with a view of their garden. The water was heated perfectly with immaculately clean water. All amenities were offered when you stepped out into the changing room, ear buds, lotion, hair perfume, shampoo and conditioner. As you exit to your room there are two massage chairs to enjoy. The room we stayed in was perfect, It had a view of the bay, a big balcony, and three separate rooms. I was traveling with my son and this afforded me a private room to change my clothes and be separated while we slept. Freshly pressed kimonos were provided for the Onsen or/and to attend breakfast in. Now I'll talk about the highlight.! The breakfast buffet and dinner were included in the very reasonable price. The breakfast was extensive with fish, eggs,yogurt, homemade delicious jams, salads, fresh fruit, natto, sausages, rolls, bread, pastries, a coffee machine with choice of lattes, cappuccino, etc, a juice machine, fresh milk from famous Tanna dairy, and more! It was amazing! Dinner was also delicious, changing every night with selections such as broiled fish set, fried chicken set, steak set, all were seasoned well and perfectly cooked. All came with soup, rice, main entree and dessert. The staff were welcoming, kind and caring, friendly. The manager even sent me a special note about a piece of art I was curious about. Highly, highly recommend this Ryokan. I never wanted to leave. It's just outside of Atami, in the hills, beautiful location. Go, relax, nurture yourself, I did 😊🥰

It was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities. The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami! I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.

I used this hotel for a trip with my girlfriend. The view, service, and amenities were all wonderful. The bathroom in the room was especially large and very nice. The amenities were all high-quality, and it was fun trying them all out. For this location and price, with a private bathroom in the room, I think it's a great deal!

The service was great! I left my phone at the hotel and really appreciate the staff member who helped me retrieve it, as well as the Trip.com customer service. The hotel itself felt quite old, and the cleanliness was just okay. However, the food was excellent and plentiful! The hot spring was nothing special, but for the price, it's very good value for money. It's also very close to the fireworks festival. On check-in day, I waited at Atami Station for the hotel's shuttle bus, but was told there were no seats available and had to take a taxi, which I waited half an hour for.

I stayed at this guesthouse in Atami last December and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is quite convenient, as it’s close to Atami Station. There is a short uphill walk to reach the guesthouse, but it’s still manageable. Overall, I would rate the guesthouse 8/10. The main thing to note is that, as it’s a guesthouse, the bathroom and toilet are shared. There is also an onsen available on-site, though it requires an additional fee (which is not expensive). The onsen operates on a time schedule since it’s shared between male and female guests. The host was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t really get the chance to use facilities like the dining area or the rooftop, but the dining area has a balcony with a nice sea view, which looked great. Another big plus is that the guesthouse is within walking distance of Atami Heiwa-dōri Shopping Street, making it very convenient for food and shopping.

The location is about 15 minutes walk from Atami Station. There is also a bus to reach. The location is next to Atami Ginza Pass, which is very convenient. It is an unmanned hotel, so everything is coming by yourself. The room is very large and clean. The room I stayed in this time had large windows with good lighting. It also included a kitchen and simple kitchen utensils. You can simply heat food in the hotel and buy microwave food from the convenience store to eat. Afterwards, Atami will consider staying again.

Not recommended for a newbie. Check-in procedure was really complicated for foreigners, making a call to the host to get the password of the key box. Without Japan number I contacted the host by e-mail in Japanese instead that took some time. 500 yen onsen fee is compulsory. You need to pay more for a towel or amenities. The room and communal area with a small kitchen was good.
