This was my first trip booked through Trip.com. Firstly, the hotel descriptions were very clear. I opted for Manxin due to its perfect location next to Guluo Square. The night view from the fourth-floor terrace is stunning, and the proximity to the night market is fantastic. The room interior is excellent, with good service. I chose a room on the left side with windows facing the main square building; my child enjoyed staying in front of the window, gazing outside. For Waimai, have robotic delivery service. Overall, I had a great experience throughout my stay. Highly recommended.

When I first arrived at the hotel, I saw that the exterior facade was an antique building, mainly in the middle part, which was somewhat damaged, so I didn't like it. In fact, before coming to Kaifeng, I made my own strategy and made a 5-day leisure travel plan in Kaifeng: on the first day, I visited Longting Park, Tianbo Yang Mansion, China Hanlin Garden, and stayed at Songhua Hotel (it said it had guest rooms with a panoramic view of the ancient city at night); On the second day, we visited Qingming Riverside Garden and stayed at Puhua Tianzhu Hotel (10 minutes away from the scenic spot); on the third day, we visited Wuxia City, Iron Tower Park, and the night view of Drum Tower, and stayed at Yinxiang Hotel (the room rate of Manxin Hotel is a bit high); on the fourth day, we visited Kaifeng Mansion , Yanqing Temple, Bao Gong Temple, and stayed at the Ibis Pinshang Hotel (close to the attractions, convenient to take bus No. 8); on the fifth day, the hotel temporarily stored luggage, and visited Daxiangguo Temple, Shanxi-Gan Guild Hall, Ancient Guanyin Temple, Liu Qingxia’s former residence, Take bus No. 8 to Kaifeng North Station. I returned to the hotel in the evening and found that the massage chairs could be used normally. I was very happy. There were many massage chairs in the waiting room, but I had never tried them in order to save money. This time it was free, so I was rude and tried them several times. The breakfast is very rich, as shown in the photo below, but the fried rice is a bit raw. Isn't it cooked rice cooked directly with uncooked rice?

I was originally meant to stay at this hotel for just 2 nights before heading to Zhengzhou, but then Henan was hit by flooding. The hotel allowed me to extend my stay and keep the same room. The hotel receptionists were fantastic, answered all my questions and helped me a lot, despite the language barrier. They even helped me get to a nearby hospital when I was injured. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Kaifeng. All the main tourist sites are within walking distance, and the night market is only a couple of minutes down the road. If I was to visit Kaifeng again I would definitely stay at this hotel.

The room is so big, a bed barely takes up half of the space. In terms of facilities, the decoration and furniture feel a little bit old, but it does not affect the experience of using it. Generally speaking, the wooden furniture and floors, as well as the carpet at the end of the bed, make it feel very comfortable and warm. I recommend it to everyone to see the ancient city of Kaifeng and the origin of the city. All in all, it’s highly recommended, with good service, good breakfast, and clean rooms.

objective comment: Pros: Very close to Qingyuan and Drum Tower (10 minutes by bicycle), good living environment, complete facilities, all kinds of disposable utensils, very considerate; there is a projector in the room, you can cast your own screen. The door is opened with a password, so you don't have to worry about losing your room card. Disadvantages: The air-conditioning heating is a bit ineffective, and the cooling is not clear. The wifi is sometimes very stuck, which causes the screen to watch TV also get stuck. Sleeping comfort is average, considering the price is already ok. Subjective evaluation: Hygiene has left me with a bad memory. It is hard to say whether I will come again next time. But overall it is recommended, it is really close to the scenic spot.
