Best Hotels in Kavaklionu Mahallesi

This hotel was included in the package we hired. But it was definitely an amazing experience!!!! We arrived and the service was excellent, every small detail in the room and decorations have been though in detail and you could feel the love the owners have put in this family operated unique boutique hotel. Loved the experience of sleeping in a cave!!! And with all the comfort of course! Congratulations to the owners and all staff!!! Delicious breakfast as well!!!! Will definitely come back!!!

I visit Cappadocia (solo) in June to celebrate my birthday. My hotel stay was amazingly amazing. The interiors of the hotel is so phenomenal and the breakfast gave me a feeling of a proper traditional home cooked Turkish breakfast. My friend called the hotel and informed them that it’s my birthday and requested to arrange a cake. The staff did the needful and made sure that I have a good birthday celebration. They assisted me with my all my needs and directions to nearby places during my stay. Overall my stay was satisfactory!

The room is very clean and the facilities are very new. It is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in during this trip to Turkey. The owner can speak some Chinese and is very enthusiastic to help us solve many problems during the trip and provide a lot of help for our trip even though we are in a foreign country. We felt like going home. The breakfast in the hotel was also very rich and full of local characteristics.

Urgup is more of a local spot and it’s like 10 minutes car ride from Goreme the city center or more touristy spot. We love the hotel for the room is spacious, amenities were great, service was extra-ordinary, the breakfast was superb and eventhough we arrived at the property few hours early, they check us in without any charge. Thank you for that! If you are staying here you will enjoy peace and serenity. Which we love! But if you like city like ambience, Urgup is not the place, stay in Goreme. Which hotel you stay is not important for hot air balloon because most of the hot air balloon package will include hotel transfer to hot air balloon site and back to the hotel. Hotel looks gorgeous from outside. Scenic hotel with exclusive rooms. Unfortunately, when things go wrong, it’s very wrong. Firstly, I could not get into the room, key was faulty, complained 4 times and went down to the reception too. At last got into the room but I had to climb a flights of stairs for 4 rounds just to get this fixed! Second day of staying, nobody came to clean the room, met the housekeeping and they say will come as soon as possible and guess what, nobody came as well. Their staff barely understand English and we have to use translator. Breakfast and dinner has very limited choice, as I remember it’s only around 5-6 hot dishes which are cold. My room was just a normal room, not much like a cave hotel but other rooms were really nice. Probably not too 5 star stay with 5 star views.

Bir kaç saatlik bu hoş zaman aralığında bize barmen Yusuf bey eşlik etti sunumu keyifli kokteylleri ve güler yüzlü ev sahipliği ile hem otele hayran bıraktı bizi. Sadece konaklama için tekrar geleceğiz, Yusuf bey e her şey için çok teşekkür ediyoruz, çok nazik ve becerikli bir barmendi.

The hotel is quite new and clean, but the price of the 768 is not worth it. It was originally recommended to say that it is a real cave to live here. The result is just an ordinary room, disappointing. There is no WiFi in the room at all, saying that there is outside, I have not connected all the way. The room is really good, but the location is located 10 km from Goreme. In the morning, I took a taxi to see the hot air balloon and spent 50 lire. I don’t think it’s worth it to stay here. It’s not really a cave.

I felt like I was staying at my family’s home! The business is run and operated by son and father, they are very kind and easy going. The hotel has relics and antiques, making it feel very authentic. The rooms are kitschy and have a lot of character!! Beautiful views and very quiet. There’s a nice living room and patio to sit and read a book or just relax after a long day of site seeing. The bathroom shower is next to toilet without a separating wall which at first I thought was odd, but i got used to it and realized it’s fine! I saw other room has a separator and with 2 beds, so you’ll need to request this one. Also water ran hot and strong. Beds is on the harder side but for some that’s great and I hear that’s how it is in the hotels in this area. I stayed 6 nights and loved it at Born Hotel! I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.

This hotel is located near the place where people take a ride in the balloons in Cappadocia. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant offer an excellent buffet with a good variation of food and the service was excellent. They have excellent WiFi signal. They offer free parking. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I along with our friends stayed at the Acer Cave Hotel for two nights. It is a lovely hotel in a quiet area. Our room was wonderful although I could have done without the party tub in the room. The bathroom was nice and had a tub and great walk-in shower. The only reason I couldn’t give the hotel a 5-star review is because the heat system didn’t work very well. Our room was suffocatingly hot when we walked in. Once we figured out that we could just turn the heat off and open a window we were able to manage. The bed was very comfortable but there were only two pillows.. Having extras is always nice. I will say the staff Brough them when I asked for them the 2nd day and they made all the difference. They serve a good breakfast in the mornings and we had a great lunch on the patio outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and spectacular views. The front desk staff were kind and polite. The hotel decor is very unique with old radios and old TV’s and antiques in the lobby - think of grandma’s in the 1950’s but it really worked with the cave environment. Almost like being in a castle. We didn’t get out and explore around the hotel so I can’t speak to its location for shopping and restaurnts. It is however, very centrally located for exploring the many attractions of Cappadocia. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Acer Cave Hotel.
