The hotel is basically the same as the pictures, what you see is what you get. The space is large and the privacy is good. It's quite far from the city center, about a 20-minute drive away. There are a lot of mosquitoes, and the air conditioner is quite loud at night.

The manager who in charged of breakfast refuse my foreigners customer to eat breakfast. The confirmation and notification SOP was very poor. The front desk people and the restaurant people seemed to be disconnected. The experience was very bad.

A very comfortable stay.
The hotel is close to food-gathering spots like Guohua Street, within walking distance, and also quite near attractions like Chihkan Tower and Tainan Railway Station. A popular internet-famous ice cream shop is also nearby.
The hotel is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is bright with good water pressure. However, the toilet area itself is indeed very small and narrow.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, willing to assist with services like luggage storage.

I wanted to take a moment to commend the late shift staff on the 14th. They were extremely helpful and attentive, addressing all my queries with a friendly demeanor. Similarly, the young lady on the day shift was also very welcoming and supportive.
Initially, I was quite upset as I had to wait outside for someone to let me in. Given the intense heat and my struggle to drag my luggage from the train station, it was quite uncomfortable. I later learned that the receptionist had stepped away for a moment, which I understand. Despite the challenging conditions, the staff's positive attitude ultimately made my experience much more pleasant. Thank you for your assistance!

This is a fantastic hotel, I absolutely loved it. Honestly, it's the best value hotel I've experienced on my entire Taiwan trip. Hotels in Taipei at the same price (or even more expensive!) don't even offer half the space this one does. Seriously! 😂

This stay was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, with great natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, answering all our questions and even kindly recommending nearby restaurants and attractions. Fantastic hotel in a very strategic location. Easy access to Tainan's main attractions. Comfy beds and good air con. Overall outstanding value so I stayed here twice. Amazing views especially at night time from the upper floors. Sadly a pretty average brekky spread with cheap ingredients. Keeping the hot food hot would be a great start before they work on improving the dishes.

Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

GGuest UserA hip and trendy boutique hotel with great service — the staff are attentive and friendly. The property has a lovely library and a community kitchen, which adds a warm, social touch.
Since the hotel is very popular, it was fully booked when I stayed around New Year. Breakfast was separated into hour‑long time slots, and I chose the 9–10 a.m. slot — apparently the most popular one. The breakfast itself was nice, but unfortunately, the dining area was extremely crowded, and I couldn’t get a seat during my designated time. The queue was long, so I ended up taking a takeaway box and eating in my room, without any beverage.
Although the space was packed, guests were generally polite and respectful — no pushing or food hoarding, which I truly appreciated. Still, the hotel should really consider expanding or reorganising the breakfast area, as the current setup feels quite inefficient.

LLingerxingOverall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located, just an 8-minute walk from the train station. The room was nice, with a large and comfortable bed, and very little noise, which made for a good night's sleep. I appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom trash can was a bit too small, but otherwise, everything was great.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and overall, it was a good experience!

小小瑩火方方Staying at 'King's Garden Villa' in Guanziling this time, the moment I stepped into the resort, that vacation relaxation just washed over me.
The entire resort is free of towering buildings; what greets your eyes are charming, nature-infused cabins and low-rise houses, artfully scattered throughout the grounds, creating the impression of a secluded village retreat. The main lobby boasts a warm, rustic style, with wooden decor and furniture that feels especially inviting and relaxing.
Even though the hotel has been open for many years, the maintenance of the guest rooms, hot spring pools, and public areas is exceptionally well done – there’s no sense of age whatsoever, which speaks volumes about the meticulous management. The staff’s attitude is just as rumored: friendly, attentive, and making you feel right at home.
No wonder it's always been the top choice for many Tainan locals when they come to Guanziling for hot springs. Its years of excellent reputation prove that a great resort isn't just about the scenery and hot springs, but also about that consistent comfort and warmth. This experience certainly lived up to expectations.

千千里之行始於足下The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the coach station. There's a large public hot spring bath, and the breakfast is decent enough to fill you up. The room itself is spacious, but toiletries are scarce; only plastic slippers are provided. Luckily, I brought my own slippers and bathing essentials. The biggest flaw, however, is a step at the entrance to the bathroom, which I accidentally tripped over when entering, causing my toe to become red and painfully swollen. It's a really poor design choice.
