"As i was attending a funeral of a dear family member, I was very pleased with the location and more importantly the cleanlines and stress free stay at the orchard hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every aspect. The food in the restaurant was above par and well deserved. a trip to Nottingham would definatly warrant a further stay at this hotel. 5 star for definate and would certainly stay again. Thank you for a great stay"
"Traveling with a group of six, we booked two rooms, each with two double beds. The rooms were decent, and the bathroom and toilet were ideal, with shampoo and shower gel provided. However, the middle of the beds sagged quite a bit. It felt like a minor issue while sleeping, but I woke up with severe back pain."
"The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. The room was clean and tidy with complete facilities, and the front desk service was very warm and welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would choose to stay here again next time."
"The location was convenient and the facilities were quite complete. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our original room was next to the elevator and was quite noisy, but they helped us change to another room quickly, which we appreciated.
However, the cleanliness could be improved. We found a very large spider in the room, which was unpleasant. The hotel also provides luggage storage service, but there was no dedicated storage area, so it did not feel very secure.
Overall, it was an okay stay for the price."
"Service was amazing, lovely customer service, check in was smooth all organised, room was spacious clean, provided towels and toiletries. Breakfast was all set up and organised variety of selection. Has swimming pool gym area sauna. Had on site restaurant. Parking on site. Would recommend. Thank you!"
"I’ll start by saying the location was perfect! right in the centre of town and close to transport links, restaurants, and shops. The hotel itself could benefit from a refresh and some updates, as certain heating appliances were not fully reliable and only seemed to work once the outside temperature reached a certain level. That said, I found the staff helpful throughout my stay and overall I had a pleasant experience. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area in the future."
"Fantastic location right in the city center, just behind the Old Market. It's a quick 5-minute walk to the castle and the Robinson statue. There's a bus stop right downstairs, making it super easy to get to the train station. The room was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortable, not too soft or too firm. They even had a Nespresso machine with coffee pods! My only minor complaints are that the facilities are a bit dated and the room is on the smaller side. The breakfast was a good English continental spread with a nice variety, especially plenty of fresh fruit, and you could order freshly made eggs or omelets. Service was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were quick. They even offer free apples in the lobby, though the air freshener scent in the lobby felt a bit cheap. Overall, great value for money, much cheaper than London with bigger rooms, better facilities, and a superior breakfast."
"Pros: Pleasant stay for the price. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. The room had a nice bathroom and a little kitchenette, more than I was expecting to find. Very comfortable and clean bed - I slept like a baby.
Cons: The area did seem a bit sketchy and not somewhere I would want to spend much time outside after dark. The carpet in my room needed some work too as it was torn in places. The room was quite warm due to the summer heat which was helped somewhat by the included fan, but I still had to sleep on top of the covers to be comfortable. The elevator was also often stinky.
Overall satisfied with my stay for the very affordable price."
"The location was great and the hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable and the room size was great. We loved that the air con worked well and all amenities listed were available.
The breakfast was excellent value for money as well."

GGuest UserGreat stay at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless and very comfortable. Overall, a really enjoyable experience—I’d definitely stay here again!”
GGuest UserWe stayed here on 20–21 June and overall had a very good experience.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety. The room was clean and comfortable as well.
The only small issue was that it could be a bit noisy at night since the hotel is close to the street. Other than that, everything was pleasant and we enjoyed our stay.
BBB TUSKAI had a lovely one-night stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep.
The hotel itself was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to get around.
Although my stay was only for one night, it was a very positive experience. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay
GGuest UserLovely hotel - couldn’t get a better location sadly let down by the size of the room (bathroom was ok) but bedroom was very tight. By far the worst problem was a lack of working air conditioning. It was a hot night and although an air con unit was in the room we couldn’t get it to work no matter what we tried. Due to the heat, sleep was a scarce commodity during our stay. If we’d have booked for longer than a night I would have not have slept in that room again if there was working no air con.
GGuest UserThe last night of leaving the UK to do a test stay here! Typical British family hotel, general hygiene, this room type bed is small, bedding is also general, temporary make do for one night is ok 😂😂😂 But I think unless special circumstances, Chinese people will not live here, live in the city center is not aromatherapy 😂😂😂
JJai KingstonSuperb staff, great parking. Very clean. Lovely bed. Only issue was no bathroom fan and I don't like the overhead showers as I don't like my head & hair getting drenched unless I choose to.
GGuest UserGood location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs.
Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good.
Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice.
Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans
Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived
Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again
Price was good value for money!
BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
