Mittenwald is an absolutely charming town. We took the train into the city and walked to Hotel Bichlerhof with our bags. It was a very easy walk. We were greeted and checked into our rooms. The staff showed us to our room. The place was incredibly clean! I don’t think I’ve seen a hotel so clean before. The more time I spend in Bavaria leads me to believe is cultural. We stayed for two nights and ate breakfast at the hotel. The front desk even went above and beyond for us to ensure we got to our transportation on time at checkout. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone else visiting Mittenwald.

Superb traditional German hotel in one of the most beautiful towns in Bavaria. The view from my room was stunning. The room itself was spotlessly clean, the shower was delightful and the beds very comfy. TV, fridge, hairdryer, bottle opener all in room, highly recommended, staff were all exceptionally helpful and welcoming.

Overall, very good experience. The room we gad was spacious with a large terrace. The space for common facilities (breakfast area etc) is rather limited, which gave the hotel a bit of a cramped feeling. Also, the breakfast/common room/bar area is right next to or below some rooms, so I can imagine that in the busy season it can be a bit loud if you have a room there.. The hotel offers a sumptuous breakfast buffet. Rooms were tidy and staff very friendly. Due to COVID we didn’t have the opportunity to try the pool or sauna. The bathrooms are a bit tight, but all serves the purpose. Beds were rather hard and uncomfortable. Overall would stay here again, especially for a weekend trip.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus. Äusserst nettes Personal. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Schwimmbad uns Sauna sehr gut. Der Frühstücksraum ist allerdings bei guter Belegung etwas eng.

Das Service-Team war mit Herz und Aufmerksamkeit bemüht uns einen erholsamen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und sehr reichhaltig. Die Zimmer sind teils im Landhausstil modernisiert, mit Balkon/Terrasse und sauber. Ein Plus, dass sich ein Minikühlschrank im Zimmer befand. Ein attraktives Wohlfühlprogramm mit Massagen/Sauna (Sauna gerade im Umbau) sowie Pool steht den Gästen zur Verfügung, dass wir gerne genutzt haben. Nachfragen, Anregungen und Wünsche wurden ernst genommen und sind umgesetzt worden. Besten Dank auch für den unkomplizierten Zimmerwechsel. Wir empfehlen sehr gerne weiter! Viele Grüße Manuela K.

Sehr gutes und sauberes Hotel. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker. Frühstücksraum ist leider etwas zu klein für dieses Hotel und die Matratzen waren leider durchgelegen. Trotzdem war es für uns ein schöner Urlaub in einem schönem Hotel !!

War alles sehr gut. Angefangen vom freundlichen Personal bis über das hervorragende. Frühstücksbuffet. Da keine Halbpension, muss das Abendessen auswärts geplant werden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
