Oh my goodness, where to start! I was completely taken aback by how stunning the views were, especially from my room balcony (thank you to whoever allocated me that room because it was top floor, middle balcony - perfect for the views!) but to be honest, there is so much to see that you can stare at the lake and mountains at any time of day from anywhere outside the hotel. Service - superb, I couldn't have asked for more attentive staff. Food - I am not a fussy eater so for me, everything was amazing. But it might be worth considering for others (with kids perhaps) that there is a limited choice at dinner (you are handed a menu the day before to choose your meal the following day and they are generally meat options. One night, you didn't have a choice and it was a 4-course set menu dinner. As mentioned, I really enjoyed eating new dishes and not really knowing what I was getting when I ordered it but I can imagine others might not enjoy that. In terms of breakfast, the eggs were amazing (recipe please?) - lots of pastries, cold meats, granola, yoghurts, breads. Location - I've already covered how amazing the view is but there's also SO much to do nearby. The walk into Molveno is around 10-15 minutes along the lake and once there, you can walk/cycle around the lake (10km), paddle board, kayak, hire boats, mini golf... the list goes on. A true hidden gem of a hotel and I felt so lucky to have stumbled upon it. I will most certainly be back one day.
