Best Hotels in Mount Lavinia

I saw the hotel that the website said that there are children's entertainment facilities, I was still thinking, I've been there a few times, but I didn't find any children's entertainment facilities, it really isn't! This point should modify the web page introduction. The hotel has a good view, the beach is clean and flat, and the service is excellent. A very tasteful hotel, full of British colonial style, is worth a try.

Great location. Nice, clean room. Balcony and seating area. Got hot water! Restaurants nearby, city is just up the road. Staff are very friendly and welcoming....................................... Very happy with my experience at Villa Lavinia, and I would highly recommend.

The open-air swimming pool on the roof is in good condition, breakfast is average, there are not many choices. On the roadside, it is very convenient to go out to work, but the holiday is not suitable.

The hostel has the best location: really calm area, just 200mts from the beach and 15 minutes by train from the city center (Colombo). Good atmosphere. Amazing common area. Beautiful sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free filtered water. Shared rooms (With fans) Private Rooms (With and Without A/C) The area around has many conveniences: market, pharmacy, restaurants. Just 15 min walking distance from Mount Lavinia train station and 5 min walking to bus stand (many options to go to Colombo)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times. In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.

Overall, it's okay. The price is relatively cheap in the capital. I thought it wouldn't be a good stay at this price. The overall feeling is okay, but the disposable items are a bit rough. Fortunately, I brought them all. The bathroom is a bit dim and hot. There is still plenty of water. There is an infinity swimming pool on the roof to enjoy the night view🌃. I love this hotel I started my Sri Lanka trip here and rebooked on my return to Colombo. Great hotel, great prices, super clean, comfy bed, wonderful food, amazing pool and great staff hopefully I get to go back one day!!😀

Where can I begin to start about this hotel? From the minute we walked through the door you would think you were in a 5* hotel with the level of service you receive. The room was modern and beds extremely comfortable. There were a few bits of damage but nothing we couldn't see past. The only gripe I had with the room is that because the Make up room/ Do not disturb LED light is beside the bed this lights up blue on a night and can be bothersome. A fantastic mention for our housekeeper Gihan keeping us well stocked in towels and everything tidy. The pool is well maintained and pool towels are of a very good quality. We looked in the gym and contrary to a previous review the air con works. Bar service and the range of drinks are excellent, as is the Cafe on the ground floor which has excellent cakes and is very reasonably priced. Infact we couldn't believe it.
