*The staff are nice to accomodate us. *The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car). *The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee). *The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area.They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city. *Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees. *The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers,toothbrush, hair dryer,kettle and 2 bottle of water. *Last picture was epic:)

I specifically booked a hotel halfway up Hengshan Mountain to photograph the sunrise and sunset, and I was so happy to get those shots! 🥳 The next day, I walked up the mountain directly from the hotel entrance, saving on bus fare! 👍 The hotel service was truly amazing. The receptionist was always there to help, and even when it rained during our hike and we got back at 2 PM, she still reminded us to take a shower before leaving – so touching! 👍 The hotel provides a shuttle service, and we received three round trips during our one-night stay. On the first day, they took us directly to Hunyuan Ancient City, and on the second day, they took us directly to the visitor center for our convenience. 👍 When the hotel driver learned we didn't have time to visit the Hanging Temple, he specially stopped along the way so we could take pictures of it. 👍 The hotel's service was impeccable; I would definitely recommend it to my friends. 👍 Also, the hotel's breakfast buns were delicious, and the lunch and dinner were also good, with exceptionally reasonable prices. Two adults, two children, two meat dishes, one vegetable dish, and one soup cost only 130 yuan – such a great deal! 👍👍👍

The hotel's location is excellent. We could reach the old town in about five or six minutes by turning right out of the hotel. If we turned left, there were plenty of restaurants about a kilometer away, and a lively morning market every day. I wanted to buy fresh milk from a stall at the market, but by the time I finished my run, they had already packed up. A lady selling tofu nearby told me there was also fresh milk available after 5 PM daily, but unfortunately, I found out too late to buy any this time. The hotel room was exactly as advertised by the host – very clean and spacious. The front desk staff were very welcoming and proactively offered us information, continuously providing us with drinking water, which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, it's great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. Oh, and the hotel's location is remarkably quiet, yet still close to the old town, which is a huge plus.

The hotel is located right by the roadside. It's a budget hotel, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, leaving a lasting impression. Our stay was a pleasant surprise, far exceeding our expectations. From the moment we entered the lobby, the staff's friendly smiles and efficient, professional service impressed us. The rooms were elegantly designed, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet with ample water pressure – every detail reflected a commitment to quality. The hotel's meticulous service was particularly commendable: upon learning we were traveling by car, they proactively offered suggestions on nearby transportation. This provided a perfect way to relax after a long journey. The excellent location, comprehensive facilities, and personalized service complemented each other perfectly, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It wasn't just a place to rest during our trip, but also a part of a wonderful memory. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit, and we will highly recommend it to our friends and family!

The hotel far exceeded my expectations! The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is newly renovated, clean, and well-maintained. The bed in the room was incredibly comfortable, and all the facilities were complete and of good quality – no compromises here. It was lovely to sit by the window with a cup of tea, watching the relaxed pace of life in the ancient city. There's also a parking lot in the back, which is great if you're driving. This hotel is definitely my top choice for visiting Hengshan or exploring the old town.

Affordable, clean and sanitary, convenient transportation, convenient dining, clean customer service, and kind people

My daughter and I made plans to see a JJ Lin concert in Beijing. She mentioned the spectacular thousand-year-old wooden pagoda in nearby Datong's Yingxian County, so we decided to visit Datong. When we booked a hotel, we found a fantastic deal, so we booked five nights, only arriving in Beijing for one. Once we arrived, we discovered Datong is truly a gem. The temperature was a comfortable 20 degrees Celsius, and the attractions were breathtaking, from the natural wonders—the earth forests and volcanic clusters—to the cultural and historical attractions—the Yungang Grottoes, the Datong Museum, the Hanging Temple, the wooden pagoda, and the Huayan Temple. I highly recommend this B&B. It's clean, the service is excellent, and the location is fantastic. In the morning, when I opened the curtains, I could see the sunrise over the mountains—a breathtaking view. It's also conveniently located near the train station, just a 10-minute bike ride to the ancient city. The shopping mall is just around the corner, and the famous Long Juxiang is right there—delicious food with no lines. The best part is, I expected the proximity to the train station to be noisy, but it was incredibly quiet. Otherwise, I would have stayed a few more days to catch the concert in Beijing. Datong was the main attraction of this concert trip, and the concert itself took a back seat. I was so happy!

A bit weird hotel, the main feature is the whole house smart. But what made me angry was that I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. 1. Whose cabinet and bed are completely close together? Do you have to step on the bed to hang clothes? 2. Because the whole house is smart, there is no remote control for the air conditioner. You have to shout Xiaodu Xiaodu, and then this Xiaodu can only turn on the air conditioner, not turn it off, and can't adjust the wind direction. The most weird thing is that if you want to adjust the temperature at night, it should be a matter of pressing the remote control, but you can only shout Xiaodu and wake up everyone in the room. 3. The dry and wet separation is good, but the amount of water for bathing is small. The amount of water for children's urine is larger than this. With this amount of water, the drainage can't be drained. If the bath lasts more than 10 minutes, the water will overflow from the bathroom. 4. There are only two very thick pillows on the bed, no thin sleeping pillows, not to mention latex pillows and buckwheat pillows. You can only curl your neck when you sleep. Later, there is no other way but to use a folded bath towel as a pillow. I called the front desk and asked for two more bath towels as pillows, but they didn't give them to me. 5. The breakfast is not rich, but the cook is very polite, fearing that you will not be full. 6. There are parking lots in the front and back yards, which can accommodate more than 20 cars. 7. When leaving, the front desk offered to take a few bottles of mineral water next to it.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is the right place to stay when visiting the Hanging Temple and Jin Temple. The room and bed are large, especially suitable for bringing children. It is no problem for a family of three to stay in a big bed. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The breakfast is also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective.
