Hotels near Ōtani Station, Otsu

Since it is directly connected to the south exit of JR Otsu Station, I used it for work that involved taking the train. I didn't feel any inconvenience even though I was built at the south exit, where the houses were spread out, because I could use the nearby underground passage to go to the north exit where there are shops and convenience stores. It's a typical city hotel and the rooms aren't very large, but I appreciate that they have separate shampoo and conditioner, and that they have coffee service that you can take back to your room.

The room faces Lake Biwa and is quite beautiful. The area is quite large for Japan. The bed is comfortable. I slept on the tatami for many days. It feels great to lie on the big bed. The hot spring is also very good. My skin will be smooth after soaking. It would be better if they can provide ice milk. The pick-up bus is very convenient I booked a hotel with dinner included. The buffet provided for dinner did not have many varieties. There was not even a seafood sashimi. The beef place provided mediocre food and the Western pastry was pretty good.

The Prince Hotel was the most satisfying hotel in our trip to Kyoto. The hotel is located beside Lake Bipa with first-class scenery and comfortable environment. In particular, the hotel's dedicated bus pick-up service and the luggage delivery service at the Kyoto Station counter bring great convenience to guests, allowing us to arrange our itinerary as we wish. The hotel's breakfast is also very good. When you enjoy breakfast in the restaurant on the 37th and 38th floors, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Biwa through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows! The only dissatisfaction is that check-in is required at 5 pm. If we arrive after 3 o'clock, if we want to check in in time, we will have to pay an additional 2,000 yen; it seems too inhumane.

The location is excellent, 2 minutes walk from the Shishan J R Station bus station. It is also very convenient to eat around and there are many varieties to choose from. Although the hotel room is a bit small and the facilities are a bit old, the service attitude is good and clean. There is free tea and coffee in the lobby, and cleaning supplies need to be picked up. Luggage storage is provided. All in all very convenient.

The location of the hotel is excellent because it take 5-10 minites from hotel to Kyoto station. It was very convenient for me if I am traveling to all the scenery nearby Kyoto. Food and beverages is available surrounding the hotel, you can just have a light breakfast and then start to travel to your destination of choices.

Stay at Ala Hotel Kyoto was really good! Booked this hotel because of the Onsen facilities. Enjoyed a good onsen treatment after a long day of walking. Location is super close to Kyoto station, and stay in generally is good. The reception service people are also super friendly and able to converse in English :)

I used it on a couple's trip. Today and the attraction rediscovery trip project I used it in a plan that can stay for up to 30 hours for 2 meals per night. I used lunch after check-in, but I used beef stew and rose of OMI beef I ordered tofu, both very delicious, and they had a volume, and I was able to enjoy OMI beef enough (^^) After lunch, I moved by subway adjacent to city sightseeing, but it was very accessible and poor. I think it was better than a hotel that took a few minutes to walk from the city subway. The hot springs are exclusive to women, but I was very happy with my wife, and I realized that it was a hotel that women were happy with. Breakfast. I stayed in a semi-double room for a long time. There is no problem with the front desk and the staff. If you are looking for a hotel in front of Seda station, please make a smile hotel.

Staff Are very attentive and quick, they are able to assist you in English too if you can't communicate in Japanese. Transport is easy as it is located about 10-15 minutes away from Kyoto Station which has Shinkansen/JR trains/bus available. Given a cozy room with various options of daily cleaning (none/basic/partial/full) main difference being if you want the bathtub to be washed / bed to be made, so you can hang it by your door to notify the crew accordingly.

Breakfast was very good. There is no fried food and the seasoning is only gentle. The way to take it on an ordinary plate without a partition without using a tray is very smart and good. On the day I stayed, I was surprised to find my favorite bread called Masa in Gion Bologna. I was impressed with the hospitality of delivering omelets in the open kitchen to my seat. The room is clean and functional, but it's too functional, so be careful that if you put the organisms in the first night and go out for consecutive nights, the electricity in the refrigerator will be turned off and it will not work (although this is my inadvertent). Very satisfied, I will use it again.
