Hotels near Come Porte Maillot in Paris

Stopped for 1 night, chose as the nearest hotel to the airport to catch the flight in the morning. Depressed grey design, dirty carpets at the entrance, staff not wearing badge. The respiratory rooms were confused, our friends gave the key to the busy room, well that the guests we woke up (we settled at 1 hour of the night) closed the door to the chain. Our room was e-chaiter, stove, refrigerator. The designer was probably with a good sense of humor because between the sandwich and the head of the bed instead of the wall a big transparent window! It can be closed with a curtain, but! The curtain is located on the side of the room, that is, only the person in the room decides to close them or open))) is not much if you sleep a little bit, when the light is on in the toilet, the feeling that the light is on in the room above your head. The interior is scratched, scratched on the floor, table, windows go out to the parking and they are very dirty. No soap and shower hat, e. the soots are uncomfortable and they are few, part is located in the floor itself, there is over the e. the stove, but there is no bed. Breakfast is scarce, cruissant, toasts, jam, cheese, sausage, surprised plastic devices! In general, the hotel creates the impression of uncomfortable and unpleasant, one night can be stayed, but there is no desire to return here.

We stayed at GW for two nights. Montparnasse station and Danfer Rochelow station are about 13 minutes walk. Since the airport bus departing and arriving at Montparnasse station is gone, it is very convenient to be able to go to the airport without changing by RER from Danfer Rochelow station. The subway is about 8 minutes from Gete Station. Since it is a hotel on a big street, the surroundings are bright and you are not afraid to walk at night. Moreover, it is quiet at night. It is convenient because the monoprix grocery store near Montparnasse station is open until 23:40. One of the male staff at the front desk was surprised that he was good at Japanese. In addition, he was very kind. Breakfast is served with baguettes and petit size croissants, pan o chocolate, pan orezan in a basket. The baguette was delicious. Drinks can be served in a pot with coffee, tea or chocolate. Orange juice is also available. Then there are a few kinds of shelves of Financier, yogurt, jam and cheese. I thought I would go out to eat if breakfast was too much, but it was enough. Due to the depreciation of the yen, the hotel in Paris for the first time in 4 years was very expensive, and I was worried about where to stay, but I chose this place and it was the correct answer. There is a classic elevator and the rooms are large enough. There is no refrigerator in the room, but it was a very good hotel considering the price.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The service was fantastic, hotel staff were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. The breakfast was fantastic and set you up for the day ahead.

The positives: This hotel is a good value for the money. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. We booked two rooms, and arrived at 9:30 AM; check in is 2:00 PM. The rooms were ready, we were allowed to go up, and had a nap before beginning our day. Both rooms had 3 beds, one room with two balconies and one with one. Our two balcony room looked out over the street, and the other over a building and lot. (Let me tell you it is amazing to open your window and listen to the street noises at night. Makes you feel like you're really there!) Paris 121 is located well, only 1 block to the Metro. With a lovely bakery across the street, nice cafe's a short walk away, a middle eastern restaurant right across the street, and even a grocery store a block and a half away, for us the location was ideal. The negatives: The internet was spotty, so you can't really depend on it. The pillows were very hard and need to be replaced. The breakfast was a buffet, so you could eat all you needed to eat, but was the same every day which became boring after 4 days' time. Was it the Ritz? Nope, but then again, we didn't PAY for the Ritz! Was it a good value for the money? I would say a definite yes. We would definitely stay there again. It was a great start to the New Year, 2022!

Absolutely perfect- beyond perfect! I cried when we left. We’ve been to Paris a few times and stayed in the area, and love it, but this was our first time with kids. We had ‘The Room’ that is used on the photos and it really really is like that. That view! The place had a great vibe, with staff and other guests being warm and welcoming. We loved the shared fridge and kitchen- perfect for our kids who will only eat cereal for breakfast! The location is perfect. Right next to a lovely play area for kids, Anvers metro station is outside and the Sunday street market that filled then boulevard was great! The room was lovely- very nicely decorated and the kids loved the bunbeds. Loved sitting on our little balcony and enjoying that view. I can’t even write how perfect our stay was. I’ve never seen Paris look so beautiful and we can’t wait to return.

Would highly recommend this Hostel. Location is right next to a metro but also a good walking to distance from many other metros and place de la nation which is great for restaurants. Didn’t eat at the hostel so can’t comment on that but the buffet breakfast did look good & all guests get 10% off food and their own beer during the stay. I found all the facilities to be clean, the bathrooms are out with the bedrooms which I find to be good as you don’t have to be dead silent. Could be doing with a door to the urinal and some hooks on the toilet doors and not just the shower door. Rooms are decent sized the only downside was the positioning of the main room lights & switch. if left on overnight was annoying and very bright. Each bed has a light though which is good when the main light is off. Hairdryer also available which can be taken to the bathroom. Friendly staff and large reception/bar area where there is something on most nights with lots of people in attendance. I was a solo traveller this occasion and would recommend to others.

This comfortable and beautiful hostel is so near the Bercy Bus and Train station. You can go the city center and all tourists places via metro, buses in a very short time. There are several good restaurants and cafes near the hostel to eat or have a drink. The room stayed was so clean and comfortable. It also had a balcony. The staff are so kind, understanding,smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. If you want to visit Paris for a couple of days as a solo traveller like me, this beautiful, peaceful and safe hostel is a great place for you. I strongly recommend it.

Things to like: pleasant modern boutique vibe in the small lobby area, offering complimentary flavoured water (and croissants later in day). Excellent level of cleanliness. Most staff obliging and friendly especially the male receptionist in the evening. Organic breakfast. Good sized room with comfortable bed and pillows, plus functional bedside tables with adjustable reading lights, usb charge points etc. Air con. Middling: room felt soulless with no cheerful pictures, hard (vinyl?) floor, table too small for keys, phones, brochures, and usual travel paraphernalia. Same with the otherwise well equipped bathroom, but instead of drawers under sink it would be better to have some shelving where his/her toiletries could all sit out. Poor: getting hold of some fresh milk for UK tea drinkers depended on who was at reception. On day of arrival before I could buy any it was reluctantly supplied in a miniature jug! View was of big factory belching out steam from tall steel chimneys, and a delivery yard for lorries. So not scenic. Awful: attitude from “M”. On last day, I had just taken my leave when I remembered something and returned to check in desk. Sorted, I went to leave again but was then asked how many breakfasts I had had. Two, times two, I replied thinking it was just conversational but then: Had I paid? Why, yes, of course. (Breakfasts were paid for as and when booked the day/evening before.) Could I prove it? Did I have the receipts? I was confused. What were they saying and, if I hadn’t intended to pay for the breakfasts, would I have “admitted” having any in first place. Didn’t they have a copy of the receipts? They should have but apparently, not mine. So, in this heat you want me to start unpacking my luggage to see if I still have them buried away. Yes. I take my luggage to an area where I can start to dismantle my cases (it’s very hot by the way) and start sifting through when I’m told that one receipt has been found. But is the only one, there are no others. I keep looking and am actually tearful. I feel like a criminal, certainly treated that way. I finally find a small bag with the majority of my receipts and start going through them when I’m told from the other side of the lobby, I’ve found it. I look up. Pardon? I’ve found it. Sorry. Not really what I would call a heartfelt apology for what I’ve just been put through. I repack my cases and leave. Just to add. The only food my companion and I ate that same day was breakfast from the hotel. I’m a pensioner and she a fit healthy teenager who ate some cold buffet meat and croissant which I did not. A few hours later she was feeling nauseous and by the time we caught our train she was sick twice and not well for a couple of days. I cannot say for sure it was the breakfast which appeared to be fresh and kept well but on the other hand it was the only food she had eaten. To conclude, we had encountered so many very lovely, kind French people on our journey that this was a very sad

I stayed here for work in September 2020. I enjoyed my stay for several reasons. Firstly the hotel is easy to find on the main road into the hotel zone. Secondly, the rooms are large and I had a suite which gave me a kitchenette, living area and separate bedroom, bathroom and toilet plus a terrasse with opening doors. The gym was excellent and the spa looked really nice - I didn't have time to try the pool but the whole area was very clean and well-looked after. The decor in the room was quite sober, the paintwork is a little tired in the room but overall it gave a good impression. The bed was comfortable and I particularly liked the shower gel and other products provided, as well as the intelligent TV to which I could wirelessly connect both my laptop and my Windows Phone (yes, really). The only issue was the wind noise coming through the glass doors to the terrasse. Try as I might I could not get it to stop completely, perhaps the curved shape of the building and the metal frame of the terrasse was to blame. But it is a minor point! Staff were absolutely fabulous, and went well beyond even my high expectations.
