Best Hotels in Ruta

Everything Was Perfect!! Two couples stayed for six days in the Carrick in Camogli. We were on a ”roots” trip for my wife and her sister, both with strong family ties in Italy. We had rented a country house that was represented as being wheelchair accessible which was far from the reality. We immediately escaped and found the Carrick which saved this part of the trip. The hotel has been recently renovated and done beautifully. The bathrooms were especially elegant in Carrara marble. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. Amazingly they were able to connect my wife with relatives in the town, The food in the restaurant was first class, including the complementary breakfast, We ate at several good restaurants but, unusually, the hotel restaurant was the best. The location of the hotel is good. Although it doesn't have its own beach, there is a small free public bath across the road with showers. There is a paid bath next to it, renting two chairs and an umbrella, 70 euros a day😱 is too exaggerated, we bought a parasol and a mat for only 35 euros and camped in the public bath. The beach conditions in the nearby town are better, and the price is only 45 Euros a day. Booked a sea view room with a nice view from the large balconies on both sides. The bar on the roof has a good view, 15 euros for a glass of cocktail, but there are free snacks, which is not bad👌

The hotel is in the city center, about 9 minutes walk from the brignole train station, the hotel is very well decorated and clean, modern decoration, the door is difficult to find, the front desk is on the 5th floor of the roof

We loved Vis-a-Vis. We want to move to Sestri Levante and live permanently in the Vis-a-Vis! Perfect location and view. Upgrade to a double balcony room with both balconies overlooking the bay and town. Really good restaurant and the best bartenders in the world with fabulous views. Do a Basil Martini and change your life! The VaV drive spills into a charming historic neighborhood.

Stayed for one week. Sea view room with balcony - a must! Fantastic breakfast - nothing is too much trouble for the staff. You ask for it and they will most probably be able to make it. Beach club area is fantastic - seaside beds with access to sea as well as two infinity pools. We did not use the spa facilities. Shout out to Francesco one of the porters, he was so helpful - not just with our luggage but with restaurant recommendations as well as local things to do. And always with a lovely smile and cheery hello. Twice daily room service. Huge comfy bed. What’s not to like about this place. We would return.

Very beautiful sea view hotel, very new facilities, comfortable bed, good internet speed, bars, restaurants and swimming pool, convenient transportation, many restaurants around, beach outside the hotel, walking distance to yacht dock and shops. There is parking in the hotel, but it costs 20 euros a day.

The hotel is designed in the style of a nightclub... the local five-star, it does not seem to have reached it, and it is not as large as a small boutique hotel. The breakfast is not rich in variety, and the service is okay.

The staff were all fantastic and very helpful at dealing with our requests, helping us book taxis etc. The room was clean and pleasant with a nice bathroom and shower, the continental breakfast buffet was great and the views from the pool were great. The booking system for the pool meant you had a guaranteed slot but could only use it once a day. It is a shame that it costs so much money to use the beach, particularly paying $50 for two sunbeds when there's only one of you. I would happily stay again if you could use the private beach for free as a guest.
