I went from Izmir to Istanbul for my 4-day lifeguard training and I accepted it because it was the closest to the hotels where the training would take place and the price was reasonable. I arrived at the hotel around 00:30 at night. I paid 1250₺ in cash as a total fee for 5 days. After my reservation was verified using my ID, I was given a room card. However, there is not the slightest document showing that I made any payment. Anyway, I slept, woke up and went to the 0th floor for breakfast. Everyone was without a mask, even those walking around and in the area that resembled a washing room attached to the breakfast area. When I went to training and came back in the evening, my room was cleaned. The next day, I started the day with the intention of repeating the same routine, but just because I was curious, I used the do not disturb condition before leaving. No light came out from the transparent place left on it for light. The glass cups for breakfast were dirty so I used cardboard. I went to training, came back the evening after the exam and saw that the room was being cleaned again. So there is no way not to enter your room :D. I thought I'd watch some movies on my laptop and hang out. I entered the wifi password on the room card, connected and tried to access the internet, but the scenario you would expect happened. In the speed test, there was an internet service with speeds between 0 and 1 megabit. It was breaking frequently. It was unbearable. I had to connect my own phone to avoid infuriation, but my line was T.T. and I started getting very variable signal quality. I slept, woke up, passed the practice test after the training the next day and came to my room. However, my card did not open the door. I was so surprised. After trying a few more times, I decided that the time limit defined on the card was probably invalid and went to the reception. I explained the situation and sent the card. They immediately extended the defined period of the card. However, it is unnecessary to experience such a thing. The dates of the room I have booked, paid for and have already started staying in are known. Why would you enter it wrong? There are few people left anyway. Afterwards, I went to my room, ordered dinner and went to sleep after eating. There is no food or beverage service at the hotel other than breakfast. If you get thirsty at night, get well soon. Today is the evening of the last day and I am writing this article accompanied by the sounds of laughter coming from the adjacent rooms due to the thin walls. Individually, the rooms are not bad. Even though the bathroom is beautiful in design, placing a push-on soap dispenser in the shower instead of soap in boxes really lowers your mood. On the ear swab box, it says qulaq and there is a picture of a football ball. Go without any expectations. You won't be upset. By the way, when you talk to the gentleman at the reception, say it clearly. I think he is not Turkish. Be understanding for the best exchange of information because this place is not 5 stars.
