Great
GGuest UserAs good as advertised. A funky place. Clean, good sized rooms. Big windows. Great buffet breakfast. Close to East West Gallery and Warschauer Strasse train station, and LIDL, for picking up some extra items. The bar was nice, with live entertainment one night. On another night the bar was closed for a private event, but they had noticed up so that you could plan elsewhere. And if you needed anything from the bar that night, the front staff assisted. Would definitely come again.

GGuest UserUnfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!

MMiranda SibesoDespite the great location, I cannot recommend this hotel. It falls far short of InterContinental’s five-star standards. My room was poorly maintained, with uncomfortable, gritty bedding and lackluster housekeeping that failed to clean basic items like a used tea cup or tidy the room while I was out. It felt more like a two-star establishment than a luxury hotel. I am extremely disappointed with the service and strongly urge management to take immediate action.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite old, so the facilities are a bit dated. There was a noticeable, slightly musty smell from the carpets in the guest room hallways, but the service was decent. The location isn't the most convenient; it's about a 5-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. However, if you use a scooter, you can reach the Brandenburg Gate in just 7-8 minutes.

OOlga HladkikhWe stayed at NH Collection Berlin Mitte for two nights over the weekend. Overall, it’s a great value for a short trip. The location is excellent and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed (comfortable bed, great bathroom, TV). The best part was the sauna included in the price — perfect after cold winter walks, and it’s open until 10 pm. Two small downsides: we felt a slight draft from the balcony window (winter stay), and there was a faint “old” smell in the room. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning. We didn’t try breakfast, so can’t comment on food.

GGuest UserMy recent stay at SO/Berlin Das Stue was nothing short of exceptional, as this luxurious boutique hotel truly surpassed my expectations in terms of style, comfort, and personalized service. Nestled in the elegant embassy district of Berlin, this architectural gem offers a unique blend of contemporary design, art, and comfort. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel's distinctive aesthetic. The sleek and modern interiors, adorned with carefully curated artwork and tasteful furnishings, create an atmosphere of sophistication and artistic flair. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the striking sculptures to the meticulously designed lighting fixtures. The rooms at SO/Berlin Das Stue are a perfect combination of elegance and functionality. The tastefully decorated spaces feature plush bedding, comfortable seating areas, and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the rooms with natural light. The modern amenities, including a Nespresso machine, a well-stocked minibar, and a state-of-the-art entertainment system, ensured that every comfort was met. The bathrooms, with their luxurious rain showers and premium toiletries, added a touch of indulgence to the overall experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, the staff members demonstrated a genuine commitment to ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Their knowledge of the local area, including restaurant recommendations and transportation tips, was invaluable in helping me make the most of my time in Berlin. Culinary delights await guests at SO/Berlin Das Stue. The hotel's restaurant, Cinco by Paco Pérez, offers an exquisite dining experience, combining Mediterranean and Catalan flavors in innovative ways. The dishes, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, showcase the culinary expertise of the renowned chef. The hotel's bar, The Stue Bar, is a stylish spot to unwind with a carefully crafted cocktail or a glass of fine wine, accompanied by live music that adds to the vibrant ambiance. For relaxation and rejuvenation, the hotel boasts a serene wellness area, including a spa and a fully equipped fitness center. The spa offers a range of indulgent treatments and therapies, providing a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The fitness center, with its modern equipment and panoramic views, allows guests to maintain their workout routine in style. The location of SO/Berlin Das Stue is ideal for exploring the city. Situated near Berlin's iconic Tiergarten park, it offers a peaceful retreat while still being within easy reach of major attractions and cultural landmarks. The nearby Kurfürstendamm shopping street and the Berlin Zoo are just a short stroll away, providing ample opportunities for leisurely walks and shopping sprees. In conclusion, SO/Berlin Das Stue is a haven of luxury, art, and personalized service in the heart of Berlin. From the stylish and comfortable rooms to the exceptional dining experiences and rejuvenating wellness facilities, every aspect of this hotel exudes a sense of refinement and elegance. If you are seeking a unique and memorable stay in Berlin, I highly recommend experiencing the enchanting atmosphere of SO/Berlin Das Stue.

AAngelinchinaI travel around often and I sleep in hotels many nights a year, I had never experienced the situation that I had when I arrived at the Hilton Berlin. I had booked, and paid for a ‘Twin Room with Dome View’ about 4 months before the trip. Upon check-in, I was automatically assigned a room that was not twin nor Dome View (you can see the view in the pictures below); I went back to reception twice, to complain that this was not the room I had booked, the hotel staff was most unhelpful, they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager, nor did they provided any solution or any sort of compensation, their answer simply was that the hotel was booked up and that there was nothing they could do. This was wrong for different reasons, first they assigned me a room that only had one bed, secondly they didn’t provide any solution other than adding a little roller bed to the room, third they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager. I am very disappointed, these sort of experiences do not belong to a hotel chain like Hilton. This unfortunate incident tainted my stay at the hotel. I hope this review gets somehow to someone at Hilton and does something to avoid any further guests having a similar experience. Furthermore, the sauna facilities was apparently not part of the room rate (this was not mentioned whatsoever) and when I checked out I found that I had to pay for every single time I used the sauna.

XXiaoxiongjielimiSissiThe hotel's decor and facilities feel a bit dated, giving it the vibe of an old local establishment. The room was very spacious, more than enough for two people, and the bathroom was also large, though the sink was quite high – perhaps for taller Europeans. There's complimentary water in the room, but it's only replenished when the room is serviced. You need to hang the 'Please Clean' sign on the door if you want housekeeping. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was only cleaned twice, providing only two bottles of water, as we didn't realize we had to hang the sign for cleaning. The hotel has convenient parking for 30 Euros/day. The front desk service was excellent, very warm and attentive, and communication in English was easy. The hotel's location is superb, with an Asian supermarket, Chinese restaurants, local eateries, and Italian restaurants nearby, along with many shopping malls and a 24-hour McDonald's. There was also a Christmas market. It's not far from attractions; a 9.5 km walk will get you to the TV Tower, Museum Island, etc. Driving is also an option, but parking near the attractions is difficult. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

PPY24The place is right in the middle of Alexanderplatz, so you can’t get more central than that. The hotel itself has seen better days and the parking feels like solving a puzzle in expert mode. On the bright side, the staff are super friendly and the rooms do the job. Only downside, the bathroom air conditioning sounded like it was trying to start a rock band.

GGuest UserDissappointing... We come here for more than six years, and it goes seamlessly down. In the evening is the sauna neglected, nobody comes to replenish towels and water cups, not to mention that ”renovation” meant the removal of the fridge, which used to offer free soft drinks and bottled water after the saune. Just two sorts of tea (if you can sustain that four kind of black tea means four sorts of tea...). Nobody controls the sauna temperature anymore, one day it was crispy hot, last time one could fall asleep inside... The rooms cannot be heated, just cooled. If you try to turn air condition off, you can´t, and they need the approval of the building´s owner to change the set temperature for the entire hotel. Last time they offered us a heater, now we had to change room for extra charge. All staff seemed overwhelmed with the complaints, except for apologies there is nothing to get in exchange for the wasted time and money... Room keys don´t always work in the elevator or on the floor. Extra coding for the sauna works every now and then. Staff overwhelmed, room orders come very late or not at all. No coffee sets whatsoever.
