2-Star Hotels in Brussels

Good, clean, free breakfast. However there’s rule, where you can’t enter the room from 12-3pm because of housekeepers cleaning. So i can’t sleep/rest during those period. Need to get out.

I did a late check-in. The reception is open 24 hours so I was able to check in with peace of mind. It was hard to work at night so as not to disturb other guests. There are no curtains for the beds. There is a bathroom and toilet in one room.

Reading negative reviews and moving to the hotel by taxi on dirty streets with garbage, I was afraid that it would be ”horror-horror,” but the room was quite decent, clean. Hotel Le Grand Colombier was a simple and fairly basic place to stay. The location is tucked away, which made it nice and quiet, but unfortunately it was a bit too far from the train station to be convenient, so I wouldn’t really recommend it if you need easy access to transport. The facilities and overall style of the hotel were on the modest side, nothing fancy, but it did the job for a short stay. The real highlight was the staff, who were absolutely lovely, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience much nicer overall.

There is no problem with services and Wi Fi, but some rooms have old deterioration. The bathroom also has a little unique fragrance. Of course I think it depends on the room. However, Rich is the best because it is close to Atomium and within walking distance. There are not many restaurants around.
