New Cairo EIEC Jubin Hotel

9.8/10
Outstanding

The facilities are excellent, everything is brand new. There's a large, living room-like reception area downstairs. Check-in was conducted entirely in Chinese, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The owner is Chinese and provided a lot of help to us, as fellow Chinese travelers, which was truly wonderful. In terms of hygiene, it met Chinese standards – very clean and tidy. It far exceeded the cleanliness of another Chinese-run guesthouse we stayed at. As for the environment, it's great. The surroundings are very quiet, and a taxi to the airport is quite cheap. The air on the street outside is also very good. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, and all the toiletries were clearly chosen with Chinese users in mind. Service-wise, without a doubt, they provided a lot of convenience, just as Chinese people do wherever they go. The owner was also very chatty and personable. The breakfast even included 'xiaolongbao' (soup dumplings) and other Chinese dishes. It's truly a perfect long-term base for a trip to Egypt.

I stayed in Egypt for a week by myself, so I didn't book a five-star hotel. From a 100-pound Airbnb to a 700-pound hotel, only this one and the 700-pound hotel had working air conditioning/heating, and the room cleanliness was among the top two đŸ˜„. The downside is that this is more like renting out a private residence (the owner lives there too), and the apartment building and surrounding environment are quite poor, so you'll have to weigh the value for money yourself. For solo female travelers, I'd definitely recommend a hotel instead. Also, I have to complain about the menu pricing. The same bottle of water costs 6 EGP (less than 1 RMB) at the downstairs supermarket. It's typical of places that charge domestic hotel prices without providing domestic hotel service quality.

I had a wonderful stay at Cecilia Hostel! The location is perfect, right in downtown Cairo and close to everything — museums, the Nile, restaurants, and public transportation. It made exploring the city very easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was simple but fresh and enough to start the day well. What truly made the experience special was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always smiling, ready to assist with tours, directions, and recommendations. Great value for money. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

A good hotel in central Cairo. Located on the 12th floor, there are elevators. Traffic noise is negligible. You can order breakfast or coffee from the rooftop café. My room (124) had a spacious balcony, a modern shower, a refrigerator, and a closet. The staff was helpful.

We had a very good stay overall. Considering Cairo standards, the apartment was clean enough and comfortable. The neighborhood and location were excellent, with plenty of great restaurants and cafĂ©s nearby. It’s also very close to the Nile—about a 7-minute walk. There are restaurants on boats along the river where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view, and you can even go on a Nile cruise from the same area. Honestly, we didn’t need to take a taxi at all for dining or cafĂ©s. There’s also a really nice cafĂ© right at the corner with excellent coffee—I highly recommend it. The building itself was very quiet, and we didn’t hear any noise from neighbors at all. The only noise was from traffic on the street (cars and motorbikes), which is normal and not really a downside of the apartment. The building had a security guard, and we were even able to leave our luggage with him after check-out, which made it much easier for us to explore the city before our flight. Finally, special thanks to Michael, the host. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. No matter what time we messaged him, he always responded and guided us with any questions we had.

The hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum, The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean. The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them ** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn. Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice

I cannot recommend staying at Cairo Paradise Hotel enough. We came on quite a spontaneous trip where we had not planned each day beforehand, we booked a hotel that felt good to us, in a good location and decided that we would ask for recommendations once there. We were welcomed extremely warmly by Ahmad, and had a big and beautiful room. From the first day, we were given so much advice based on our budget and interests: Amr gave us his experience and offered us to plan our days to make the most out of our time: we did not just visit many locations, we also had guides and did things in a certain order and at every hour. These made it into a very very busy and fun adventure! Apart from travel help, everyone was very generous at the hotel, we were offered tea, coffee and Egyptian food to try, and got a taxi ride to the airport to go back. They always made sure we were safe and had any question answered. I felt so welcomed to Egypt and Cairo and I hope to go back and see them again😄 Thank you to Ahmad, Amr and everyone else! One piece of advice: sometimes on iPhone maps when you write the hotel name it can get a little mixed up, make sure when you see the destination it is on Sherif Pasha Street but also: in between 26th July Street and Adly Street. The hotel is also opposite a cake shop called El Abd Patisserie. Celeste :)

When we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.
