"The hotel is in Tahrir, and there are many restaurants and clothing stores around it. It's also conveniently located near the Egyptian Museum and Cairo Tower. When I first arrived, I was surprised by how abandoned the hotel looked, but the room was quite good for the price. However, I stayed three nights, and although I left a tip when I left the first night, the room was left untouched. I asked for towels and water, but they didn't bring them for three days. That's disappointing."

Great
IImpulsive TravellerThe location is at city center nearby to Egyptian Museum. Plenty of amenities within 10 minutes walk. The famed Koshary Abu Tarek is within 6 minutes walk. The rooms are well maintained. There is a staff at the reception 24/7. Guests of all ages and nationalities can be accomodated.
Suggestion for improvement:
1. The towels to be issued upon check-in and not upon request.
2. The lift need to be upgraded as I was ever caught inside when there is a power trip. And often the lift did not operate because the lift door was not closed properly. Understand that the lift is not manage by your hostel. Please request for it from the building owner as it is not acceptable.
3. Consider centralized air condition system. Anyone can turn off the air conditioner affecting others.
GGuest UserThe room was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, and there was a pleasant fragrance as soon as I entered, which was very comforting. We booked a two-bedroom room, and it even had two toilets and a super spacious courtyard! The kitchen and living room were also beautiful. The staff were incredibly nice, especially Bassel. On the day we checked out, we left our belongings at the hotel, and when we returned to retrieve them that evening, he provided all the necessary services, including bathroom amenities and drinking water. We really loved this hotel. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's away from the noise and crowds of the old town. Using a taxi app was no problem at all; it only cost a little over 200 Egyptian pounds to get to the city center. I highly recommend staying here.
BBen 1-12-8-11This is my second stay here, and it's super convenient for visiting my clients; an Uber ride is always under 230 EGP. Every time I come back, the front desk staff helps me order food, and they are always incredibly patient and friendly. The room is very comfortable, with the window directly overlooking the pool on the ground floor. It's a shame I didn't have time to sunbathe by the pool since I was here for a business trip. I'm planning to come back and stay again in April!
GGuest UserOur stay at Ocean Blue Studies was really the landmark of our time in Egypt. Mr George was very helpful from the geginning. Mohammed Sallam from housekeeping was very friendly and took good care of our room.
We got the nicest room upgrade as well!
Thank you for such a lovely stay, and we will be back for sure.
AAnonymous Useri stayed here twice. the first stay was decent, the room was much better than other hotel in Cairo, so i decided to book again. but the second time was really disappointing, the management could do much better. they started maintenance with extremely loud drilling at 8 AM, which woke me up in a very bad mood. then the housekeeping tried to enter my room suddenly after just a quick knock, without giving me any chance to answer the door. luckily, i had locked it, and i had to shout for him to leave. overall, a very bad experience, need much improvement.
EEmEl91Hotel in the center, close to shops and bars, but on the main road, so it's noisy 24/7. They don't have earplugs at the reception and the balcony doors don't close, so it's hard to sleep. The hotel is clean, the service is friendly. Breakfasts are average for a 4*, plus there's no coffee (only Nescafe sachets) and plastic cutlery, which I've never seen before. For 1-2 nights it's ok, for longer stays I don't recommend rooms facing the street.
MMohd Shalyadi Che AliWe had a great experience staying at this hotel..front desk staff Mr Yasser and Ms Donia performance are the best. They did their best to meet customer demand. They are very friendly and very accommodating to tourists like us. Their ability to speak good English is certainly an advantage to this hotel as we found it very difficult to communicate with the locals while in egypt. Hotel location is also great near the city and has many shops around. Overall..recommended.
HH manassibThe service was okay the stuff were all helpful and polite The whole Building needed taking care of from the entrance of the building to the lift is so dirty and very old and rusty then when you get into the studio it’s nice and decorated but very dusty, three days I had blockage of drains in the shower room. I had no hot water. Tv does not work doesn’t matter how many times you called them to fix it. It does not work believe that trip.com need to check the whole building not just the rooms the balcony was very dusty. I had to ask them to come and clean it. You can’t sit in there and relax too noisy because of so much traffic the only time I enjoyed myself is to go out of the Property. I only come and sleep..
CcalilopezzThis place was basically just good enough for a bed to sleep on. The shower and bathroom situation was pretty gross and the room itself only had 1/3 plugs working. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was desperate. The price was really cheap and unfortunately the amenities and state of the place reflected it. We had a 24 hour layover and didn’t sleep and showered as fast as we could just to survive until our flight. Do not stay for an extended time if you want a proper holiday in Cairo.
Location was really close to the Egyptian Museum and several places downtown to eat and enjoy.
