We had an absolutely wonderful time at Arima Onsen Goshoboh. The room was very spacious with all the amenities you could need, and it was such a great touch having two massage chairs in the room! Dinner and traditional kaiseki breakfast were quite unique - some of the dishes were a bit too specific for our taste and we didn't try everything, but it was still an interesting culinary experience overall. What really stood out was the honeymoon surprise at dinner - a beautifully presented dessert with a flame that revealed a flower, with cute little figurines inside. They even let us keep them as a souvenir! Such a thoughtful and memorable touch. At the end of our stay, the hotel kindly drove us to the bus stop, which was a really nice gesture. Overall a fantastic experience - we'd love to come back again!

We had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm. The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day! A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated! Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

The hotel offers private hot springs, and guests can book a time slot after check-in. There are both indoor and outdoor options, with four types each, ensuring excellent privacy. This is a great alternative for those who might feel uncomfortable using public hot spring pools. Some rooms also have their own private hot springs, but these are all ”silver springs”; if you wish to experience a ”golden spring,” you need to make a reservation. The hot spring environment is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are comprehensive. The shower rooms are spotless. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel also provides a dedicated shuttle service; simply inform the front desk where you'd like to go, and you can also call them to pick you up and bring you back to the hotel after you're done exploring. Highly recommended!

Food was great and Eri-san was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and love the private onsen with amazing view. I love how attentive Eri-san was as well, the timing in which the next meal came was impeccable, allowing me to enjoy the food thoroughly. Other ryokans I have stayed before (despite being more expensive), the breaks between the food served was very short and it felt like I was rushing to eat. The outdoor hotspring bath was great and perfect for people who cannot stand too high temperatures. Unfortunately, when we wanted to dip in Gekkoen's more traditional and older outdoor hotspring, it was being cleaned. Would love to try dipping in it the next time we visit again.

A heartwarming and thoughtful mountain hotel experience. This hotel stay completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of genuine hospitality – there was a dedicated shuttle service directly from the station to the hotel, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage around. The next day, I planned to explore the hot spring town at the foot of the mountain. The hotel proactively offered to store my luggage and deliver it to the station at the bottom of the mountain at the agreed time, completely freeing up my hands. The food was surprisingly delicious, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful pairings. The room was clean and comfortable, meticulously cleaned daily, and the common areas were also spotless. The service throughout was attentive yet unobtrusive. From the shuttle arrangements to the luggage storage, everything was efficient and heartwarming. It's truly perfect for travelers planning a hot spring trip. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

The room is large, with Western beds and tatami mats. It is very suitable for a family or a gathering of friends🎈. The room has a dining room. No more than five people can eat in the room. It is very convenient. The private bath is very convenient. The public bath is large and has gold Gintang is very close to the town and the transportation is very convenient. This onsen hotel is nestled on the mountainside of Feng Ban, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks from the windows. While the hotel is a bit older, it's still clean and tidy. I highly recommend the buffet dinner – it's incredibly rich and diverse. The bread at breakfast is particularly delicious. The hot springs, both indoor and outdoor, feature a golden spring, and the overall ambiance is lovely.

This is an older Japanese five-star hotel. While the decor and facilities are a bit dated, they're well-maintained and quite clean. Although the hotel is built into the side of a mountain, the underground transportation is excellent; you can reach Sannomiya in just a few minutes, and there's a direct shuttle to Sanda just a five-minute walk away. I booked this hotel specifically for the direct bus to Kansai Airport at 2 PM, which is super convenient and a lifesaver if you have a lot of luggage. I don't recommend visiting the Ijinkan Street, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Once in a lifetime experience for me and my wife to see the spectacular views from our room both at night and in the morning. Also, the glamping facilties are top notch. Yuna and Yuki guided us step by step on how to prepare our dinner and breakfast. They are kind and we fully enjoy the process. We love the place and the people from Nature Live. Strongly recommended indeed!
