SajiroWe had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm.
The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day!
A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated!
Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Guest UserThe front desk service is very good. The room is very good, the floor-to-ceiling corner window has a beautiful view outside the window, the room facilities are very new, the room facilities are very complete, the room coffee and the refrigerator are very rich, the drinks are full, very considerate. The shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are all Bulgari, the experience is very good. They also thoughtfully prepared men's and women's skin care travel packs, which is very attentive. I would like to especially praise the staff of Hiroko-san who has been serving us since we received them during our stay. They are very enthusiastic, very attentive and very nice. The experience brought to us during our stay was very comfortable and very good. I look forward to meeting Hiroko-san again next time I stay.

Comfortable and soothing ryokan in the heart of Arima Onsen town at the top of a steep hill! Kaiseki was awesome in quality and detailed in appearance! Soothing and relaxing onsen bath with Gold and Silver onsen. Service staff was attentive and helpful, especially the conceige! Free IPA and highball drinks after dinner, too! Nespresso coffee available in the morning. Try it to enjoy the relaxation in Kobe!

Food was great and Eri-san was very friendly and helpful.
The room was really clean and love the private onsen with amazing view. I love how attentive Eri-san was as well, the timing in which the next meal came was impeccable, allowing me to enjoy the food thoroughly.
Other ryokans I have stayed before (despite being more expensive), the breaks between the food served was very short and it felt like I was rushing to eat.
The outdoor hotspring bath was great and perfect for people who cannot stand too high temperatures.
Unfortunately, when we wanted to dip in Gekkoen's more traditional and older outdoor hotspring, it was being cleaned. Would love to try dipping in it the next time we visit again.

Guest UserThe room was absolutely gorgeous, and for the price, it definitely lived up to expectations. We loved everything, except for the breakfast – it just wasn't for us. It seemed to be Japanese-style food, but it was just so-so. So, if you're not a fan of local cuisine, you can probably skip breakfast and save some money. The service was excellent, though. They even provide kimonos in the room.
The only slight hiccup was that we didn't book a transfer when we arrived, so we had to walk uphill for about 15 minutes, which was quite a struggle!

The price was quite reasonable, and the room was suitable for families with children, even providing kids' yukata. The hot spring wasn't too crowded, and the souvenir shop had a good selection of items. Room service was also very prompt. They were flexible with breakfast even when our child woke up late.
Downsides: The location is quite remote, requiring hotel shuttle service as there are no other shops nearby. There were fewer hot spring pools than expected, and the outdoor hot spring wasn't as good as anticipated. The staff guiding guests in and out of the hotel seemed very busy and a bit overwhelmed. The Kaiseki dinner is only suitable for adults; it would be better if there were buffet options for dinner and breakfast (though this might vary depending on the platform booking).

We stayed at Negiya Ryofukaku in Arima Onsen during the maple leaf season, opting for the West Wing's deluxe Japanese-Western mixed room with a mountain view. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly comfortable. Looking out the window, the mountain was ablaze with vibrant red maple leaves, like a flowing oil painting—the scenery far exceeded our expectations. Upon check-out, the hotel even thoughtfully arranged a car to take us to Arima Station, which was incredibly convenient.

A heartwarming and thoughtful mountain hotel experience.
This hotel stay completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of genuine hospitality – there was a dedicated shuttle service directly from the station to the hotel, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage around.
The next day, I planned to explore the hot spring town at the foot of the mountain. The hotel proactively offered to store my luggage and deliver it to the station at the bottom of the mountain at the agreed time, completely freeing up my hands. The food was surprisingly delicious, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful pairings. The room was clean and comfortable, meticulously cleaned daily, and the common areas were also spotless.
The service throughout was attentive yet unobtrusive. From the shuttle arrangements to the luggage storage, everything was efficient and heartwarming. It's truly perfect for travelers planning a hot spring trip. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

JunzilanbukaihuaThe hotel is right by Maiko Beach, and opening the curtains reveals a beautiful sea view! I'd visited Kobe before, so this time I planned to go to Kobe University and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge walkway.
We came directly from Fukuoka, but since we were only staying in Kobe for one night and had to leave for Shirahama in the afternoon (a three-hour journey), my friend and I decided to sleep in and just visit the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge across the road.
If it's your first time in Kobe and you want to shop and see the sights, I recommend staying around Sannomiya. Four days and three nights would be more than enough for a really enjoyable trip.

Guest UserOnce in a lifetime experience for me and my wife to see the spectacular views from our room both at night and in the morning. Also, the glamping facilties are top notch. Yuna and Yuki guided us step by step on how to prepare our dinner and breakfast. They are kind and we fully enjoy the process.
We love the place and the people from Nature Live. Strongly recommended indeed!
