It is the same price as The Bull in Long Melford and I have stayed at both so here is a little bit of help to the owners. Refurb your rooms a bit. Toilet burped at night so probably a broken macerator, carpet in bathroom isn’t a good idea, only one pillow, mattress hard, bed rickety. The priority is to fix the outside back door which you can push open without a key. So anyone can walk in out of the street if they chance it and be outside the bedroom doors in a jiffy. Staff need to really care for their guests’ comfort or at least look and sound like they do. This isn’t a high end hotel so don’t be officious. Your first word to guests should feel like a welcome and ‘yes we can’. I know you guys can do it and I will stay again in the future .. just to check you have 😁 Lovely breakfast!!

It is the same price as The Bull in Long Melford and I have stayed at both so here is a little bit of help to the owners. Refurb your rooms a bit. Toilet burped at night so probably a broken macerator, carpet in bathroom isn’t a good idea, only one pillow, mattress hard, bed rickety.
