A family member found this hotel for seven of us and it was a brilliant choice for location. What was nice was they gave us the four rooms all together in a side wing and all the rooms were really large. We had a large separate lounge area which led to the bedroom and a lovely bathroom. The only thing I missed was tea/coffee making facilities, there was cups in the cupboard but that was it. We opted to have room only rather than bed and breakfast as we felt it was pricey and wouldn't really get value for money as we would have to eat quite a lot to get your moneys worth and some of us eat light first thing. We are glad we made this decision as literally two minutes from the hotel door is an excellent place where it suits all requirements serving hot breakfasts, fresh fruit and yogurts, cereal, croissants etc and very reasonably priced. We had planned to eat at different venues each morning but as this suited us all so well we ate there everyday except one day it was closed due to a national holiday there but there are plenty of places close by. If we go back I would do the same again this hotel and eat out for breakfasts.

I took my two teen kids to Vienna for the first time. And stayed at this iconic, historical hotel in Vienna Hotel Saher. We thourouly enjoyed the visit of this city thanks to very helpful and professional service at the hotel. What an amazing little find! This hotel provides everything you could want for an amazing long weekend in this beautiful city. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The welcome after a delayed flight was warm and accommodating… the personal handwritten note from the manager was a nice touch as were the truffles in the bedroom and the free minibar! The location is perfect, opposite the opera house and stop 1 on the tourist bus, positioned well for access to some amazing museums, heritage sites, gardens and the main shopping area if that is your thing. We had an inside room overlooking a ‘courtyard’… not the prettiest but it was very very quiet which for a city centre location was unusual. The breakfast was lovely, and the coffee and cakes in the patisserie divine. My only area of improvement… there was a lovely coffee machine in the room but no kettle… hot water for tea in the morning had to be called down for which always seemed a lot of trouble. The upside - we got up and out for breakfast early! A fabulous hotel in a wonderful city…. We will be back!

We showed up at the hotel needing to change our room as our kids joined us after all. Antonio was exceptional in his approach to helping solve our issue. I never felt as though I was a burden as he juggled room options to get us into a solution. Having lived in Dubai for 10 years and enjoyed outstanding service it was really a relief to encounter Antonio in Vienna. My past experience is certainly not what I had with Antonio. Outstanding service. The hotel was wonderful. Great bed! Great water pressure for the shower. Overall a great visit and I can see is visiting Grand Hotel Wien again.

This is truly an extraordinary, amazing hotel. The location just could not be any better, right next to the Opera House in the centre of Vienna. You can walk to most everything or there are major tram and Metro lines right outside the door. The hotel itself is classic and luxurious with old world charm, like being in a beautiful museum. And the rooms; without a doubt, this is the nicest hotel room I have ever had. It was spacious and comfortable with classic furnishings, sumptuous, exquisite bedding and delicious smelling toiletries. But the best part about this hotel is the staff. Genuinely warm and helpful service from everyone we encountered. From before we even arrived until the moment we left, we were made to feel welcome and valued. The concierge, the restaurant staff, front desk, housekeeping; no one could have been nicer, more helpful, or more accommodating. The breakfast was beyond excellent with the crowning touch being a honeycomb with fresh honey from their very own beehive on the roof of the hotel. I just can't wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and choose the Hotel Bristol when in Vienna. You will not be disappointed.

The location is very good, a bunch of famous shops nearby, it is very convenient to go to museums or important attractions, all on foot. The concierge helped book a seven-person car to visit the farther attractions such as Schönbrunn Palace. The driver was very nice and there was no additional charge for the timeout.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the hotel has a long history, was established in 1600, the hotel service level is high, breakfast is good. There is a Hop on Hop off city tour bus route nearby, and the Metro Sweden Square Station is within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. If you want to drive by yourself, you should pay attention, because the parking space in Vienna is really tight. I happened to have a parking space (26 euros for one night) to stop the car.

It was our pleasure to stay in this hotel. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed and all necessary accessories to ensure our comfort were available to us. Breakfast extremely reach in choices. Wow!! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a superior suite. We had an incredible view of the city and Belvedere palace. Even if we had not been upgraded, our stay would have been wonderful!! The hotel is beautiful. The wellness facility is great. We used the sauna several times during our stay. The hotel had a variety of snacks and beverages available in the lobby. The workers at the front desk were delightful! They were incredibly helpful, kind, and hospitable. Our bed was two twins pushed together which did not bother us. Our room had many big windows which let in lots of natural light. The location worked well for us. I can not say enough good things about this hotel. We were so saddened that we had to leave! I highly, highly recommend.

The decoration of the rooms is simple, but the facilities are okay, the service is good, the location is great, and there are many choices of various room types. We booked a one-bedroom room. I thought it was two beds from the picture, but only a double room was given. The two large and two small rooms were a bit crowded, but fortunately, it was only two nights, and it was okay. 😊😉

Forgot to take pictures, the location is very good, in the place equivalent to Beijing Wangfujing, the surrounding attractions are very concentrated. The sights in the city are within walking distance, and the subway is far away, and it is also close to the subway station. The room is large and the decor is European style, very beautiful. If you are staying in the evening, please contact Ctrip for the first time in advance, as the front desk will be off work at 10pm. Did not eat breakfast, looked at it is not very good, very few varieties, went to the opposite McDonald's to eat.

The service at the Marriott was excellent, the rooms were immaculate, there is a large indoor heated pool we enjoyed, there were lots of people at the front desk and it has a great location. The hop on hop off bus stops at the front door, it is walking distance to Mozart's house and the magnificent St. Stephen's cathedral, the hofburg with the imperial apartments, the Spanish riding school, cici museum, the royal Treasury with the crown jewels, and the Jewish museum. There are lots of fine shops and a variety of restaurants in the area as well as a pedestrian shopping area. We were disappointed with lunch at the Garden cafe but there are other places to dine. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
