Concierge take control of luggage and allow you to wander to reception . Checking in was a breeze and friendly . The room , ours was on the 11st floor , was amazing . comfort , soft beds , mini bar , bath robe , and a well sized bathroom . A travellers true home from home to get away from the bussel of life by the coast side . Views , sun rises , peace and quiet . Perfect . Also the outdoor swimming pool ,sauna.And this hotel is one of the highest in my lists of hotels in Xiamen to recommend . A shout out to the Manager , Anna who personally checked up on us , and to Tim for reaching out by text to ensure the room met its very high standard .

It was great, really quiet room. Nice layout of the suite. One thing I noticed was how good the desk chair was, since I was working. Bed was super comfy and I slept very well. I booked superior suite and they were kind enough to give me the one with sea view. Jeffrey at reception was lovely and welcoming, spoke great English. Super friendly. Will return next time in Xiamen 👍

After checking in, I ordered takeout. My little brother helped take out the courier from the takeout cabinet, and then sent a robot🤖 to deliver it to the room. It started to rain lightly the next day when I was preparing to ride. The guys at the front desk and the concierge advised me not to go out for a ride, as it would rain heavily (as expected, it would rain really hard soon). So we changed our itinerary and took a taxi to Zhongshan Road. The waiter immediately got up and gave us two bottles of mineral water. If you come to Xiamen next time, I will book this hotel.

I had an absolutely amazing three-day stay at Shangri-La Xiamen. As this was a staycation, I was looking for some self-pampering and I came away feeling well rested and refreshed. The things which made this stay so special are: bright and clean room with an excellent view of the sea, comfortable lamps and lighting, which were were soft and warm, the very comfortable bedding, the ample amount of free drinking water (four bottles when I arrived, and more bottles delivered later in the afternoon) the very warm service of everyone, from check in, to room service, to the very polite and attentive ladies in the exective lounge, and the pool facilities on the lower ground floor. In the changing room, there is a hot and powerful jacuzzi and a fully-functioning steam room. The pool itself was quiet and a good length! Towels and showers--all convenient and comfortable. This really is a very warm, welcoming, and high-quality place. It seems that every comfort has been considered--drinking water, lighting, bedding, cleanliness, friendliness, convenience, service. The Horizon lounge on the fourth floor has an amazing breakfast with a mixture of a buffet and a la carte. The food is delicious. Evening Happy Hour also has a varied buffet with a good selecrion of drinks. Absolutely five starts. Thank you for the wonderful mini holiday!!
