Liuhuahu Park, Guangzhou

When I woke up early to go for a walk around the park next to my Airbnb, I will admit that this was the last thing that I expected to find. In a booming city of millions, an abandoned old colonial style building in the middle of a lake doesn’t quite seem to fit- that said it’s an extremely interesting building. Heading there early while the lighting is still good, you’ll see plenty of people snapping pics of it as backdrops for product photos/ portraits, or just flying their drones around. The fact that the park is relaxing/ has no loudspeakers and is generally just a nice Sunday morning walk makes this spot just the icing on the cake 🏙 #momentsmission #guangzhou #travel
