Apsley House Review

I visited Wellington Arch and Appleley House on the third day of my London trip because I wanted to know everything about London. This is the Duke's residence in Wellington, which displays their collection of paintings and other collections. The building is large and beautiful, but the entrance is very simple, making it unclear whether it is open. Tickets are 9.5 pounds, only the first and second floors can be visited. When I went there were few people visiting, it was very quiet.

We visited London many times, but never visited Applesley House before, and only visited it recently. It was the residence of the Duke of Wellington (Duke of Wellington); we visited it on Sunday morning and there were many tourists but it was not crowded. This mansion belongs to English Heritage

The Appleley House has been restored to its original decoration, and the Duke of Wellington's artifacts and belongings remain, providing insights not only into Wellington's life, but also into this period of British history, and can also order dinner here.

The Duke of Wellington’s London House of Appsley is a grand palace, a great historical tour of the Battle of Waterloo and Napoleon’s lifelong interest, and the house retains all the original furniture and is worth seeing in silverware and porcelain, as well as the Duke’s collection.

The general's house is very rustic in appearance compared to its famous house, and it feels nothing special to walk outside, but there is still a little wonder to walk in. The contents are really rich, not only introducing the deeds and achievements of the Duke of Wellington, but also showing a large number of products. If you are interested in British history, especially the history of war, I believe this House will be a good choice.
