Longjing Village is very quiet, surrounded by lush tea gardens. When I step into the village, I can smell the faint tea fragrance, as if in a green world. The village is home to many ancient buildings and traditional tea gardens, which are witness to the history and culture of Longjing tea. The history of Longjing tea dates back to the Tang Dynasty, when it was already a famous tea. It is said that the name of Longjing tea comes from a legend. According to legend, in the Song Dynasty, a monk named Longjing built a temple here and planted tea trees around the temple. He used the tea here to make tea for people who came to worship Buddha. Because the tea is full of fragrance, delicious taste, and deeply loved. Later, people called the tea here Longjing Tea. 🍵 Longjing Tea's production process is very particular, and it needs to be picked, wilted, killed, rubbed, fried and other links. Among them, fried tea is the most critical step, and tea needs to be quickly fried at high temperatures to maintain the green and aroma of tea. In Longjing Village, I was fortunate to witness the fried process of Longjing tea and feel the exquisite skills and love of tea farmers. 🌿 In addition to understanding the history and production process of Longjing tea, I also tasted the authentic Longjing tea. The shape of Longjing tea is flat and straight, the color is green and yellow, the aroma is high, the taste is fresh and refreshing, and it is a treasure in famous Chinese tea. Tasting this mellow cup of Longjing tea, I seem to feel the deep heritage of traditional Chinese tea culture.
