It rained heavily that day, but there were quite a lot of people in the city center. Bandurah is a park built to commemorate Myanmar's national hero Bandurah, located in the downtown area of the small golden pagoda. Bandurah commanded the Anglo-Burmese War, and hit the British army several times, but unfortunately in a fierce battle in 1825. [Myanmar Independence Monument] is also erected in Bandurah Park.
