The Pamahatai Temple was built in the period of Bao Jomalaja I, and its main tower was about 40 meters high. It was one of the earliest Khmer-style pagodas built in the city, but only the base of the bottom, and the traces of plaster decoration can be seen from the pagodas around it. Built more than 600 years ago, the Pamahatai Temple has the earliest Khmer-style pagoda built in the city, and the pagoda has preserved several relatively intact Buddha statues and many ruined Buddha statues.

Wat Phra Mahathat, Thailand, was a royal temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. It is one of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya as it housed the Buddha's holy relic. Many important royal ceremonies of the Ayutthaya era had been hosted here. When the Ayutthaya Kingdom failed in 1767, Wat Phra Mahathat was severely damaged by fire and was since abandoned. The temple is located in the area of the Ayutthaya Historical Park nowadays. Attractions in Wat Phra Mahathat of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya include remains of important old buildings such as pagodas, octagonal pagodas, royal hall, small temples, murals under a Bodhi tree, and the famous sand-stone Ayutthaya-style head of the Buddha image in a tree's root.

Came on February 6, 2023. Mahathir Temple and some other ancient relics in the surrounding area are collectively called "Dacheng Historical and Cultural Park", and Mahathir Temple is a relatively large-scale relics in the "park". Come to Mahathir Temple, the ruins are sad, and tourists can feel the war on civilization very intuitively. Mahatai Temple also has a very famous landscape, that is, the "tree cradling Buddha head" in the southeast corner of the temple, close to watch, it is really moving... May there be less strife in the world, more understanding and tolerance!

One of Ayutthaya’s magnificent historical creations gives a mesmerizing glimpse to the people of today. I can suggest this place is a must to visit if you are planning to travel to Thailand.
