The Xiamen Zhongshan Seaside Hotel (Zhongshan Road Ferry Terminal) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Xiamen will find that the Xiamen Zhongshan Seaside Hotel (Zhongshan Road Ferry Terminal) is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 5km from Xiamen Railway Station and 14km from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. Being just minutes away from Zhenhai Rd Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. With multiple attractions nearby including Zhongshan Park, Sunlight Rock and Yujian·Floating Lounge, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Xiamen hotel offers parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"First off, the hotel's location is fantastic. It's right next to Zhongshan Road and within walking distance to Bashi Market, making it super lively at night with tons of food options. Secondly, getting around is a breeze. There's a bus stop right outside, making public transport very convenient. Plus, there's a ferry terminal directly across the street. If you're coming back from Gulangyu, you can take a bus from Sanqiuming Pier to this ferry terminal, cross the road, and you're pretty much at the hotel – no need for a taxi or another bus! Finally, the security is top-notch. You need to swipe your card twice to enter: once to take the elevator to your floor to find your room, and then again to get into your room. This is the first hotel I've stayed at with this kind of system, and it really made me feel safe and secure!"

"This is probably the best hotel built by local farmers I've ever stayed at in China. While the style is a bit heavy, the amenities and quality for the price are absolutely impeccable. The airport transfer service is also fantastic – they pick you up whenever you request, not on a fixed schedule. Best of all, I accidentally left my jacket in the room and only realized it at the airport. After contacting the hotel, the driver brought it to me on their next airport run. Super convenient!"

"The hotel room was spacious, and it's super close to the airport. They offer a complimentary shuttle service in the morning, which you just need to book a day in advance, and they also do airport pickups. This is definitely the best value-for-money hotel in the area. I'll be back!"

Kyriad Hotel originates from Louvre Hotels Group, the second-largest hotel chain in Europe, and is now a brand under Jinjiang Hotels (China). The hotel is equipped with a laundry room, gym, meeting rooms, a large parking lot and charging parking spaces, perfect for a joyful family vacation. It is only a 10-minute drive from Fuzhou Changle International Airport, Wanshou Metro Station and Zhanggang Station; a 20-minute drive from Changle East Railway Station and Donghu Town. It is also adjacent to Xianying Palace, Sea Clam Park and Wanghailou Beach.

"This Jinjiang Hotel is super new! I chose it over the Lavande next door because I'd heard of Jinjiang but hadn't tried it yet. **Facilities**: It's a standalone building in a cluster of hotels, very new and well-maintained. Everything feels fresh and great. **Hygiene**: Spotless, as expected from a Jinjiang Group hotel. They really prioritize top-notch cleanliness. **Ambiance**: Being a Jinjiang Group property, it boasts a unique marble-integrated hotel style. Inside, there's a 'watercolor ink' world map mural which I found quite appealing. The restrooms are fully smart, with electronic bidet toilets, so no more startlingly cold seats at night! **Service**: Excellent! I ordered breakfast, and while it's not as lavish as a JW, it was still very good and had everything you'd need. A pleasant surprise was being given a soft rubber pillow without even having to ask the front desk. It was a thoughtful touch, and the pillow was genuinely comfortable, really helping my neck. Thumbs up! **P.S.** This is one of the rare hotels without any downsides. Both the indoor and outdoor environments are very pleasant. Whether it's the ambiance or the location, everything was convenient and smooth, perfectly fitting the occasion. A great place! Plus, they offer airport drop-off service for early flights! If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the automatic doors in the lobby are a bit too sensitive and open frequently. Coupled with being in a coastal area, it can make the ground floor lobby feel a bit stuffy. I'll definitely be back!"

To be honest, the room facilities are quite outdated. What's more, the setup is impractical: the hairdryer is placed too high, making it difficult to reach; there's no basket in the bathroom for dirty towels; and the fridge is completely empty. The worst part is the Wi-Fi – it's incredibly slow and constantly lags, making it impossible to even stream a show on my phone. This hotel needs to seriously improve to live up to its five-star rating. A major tourist city shouldn't have five-star hotels like this! Hope they improve!

I've always had a good impression of Conrad, but the service at Conrad Xiamen this time was really disappointing. I checked in on August 5th and 7th. On the 6th, I pressed the 'do not disturb' button. In the afternoon, I received a call asking when I'd like my room cleaned. I gave them a time, and then shortly after, I got another call asking the same thing. I don't understand the point of the 'do not disturb' sign or the first call. Around 8 PM, a staff member brought me a complimentary sweet soup, and when I asked why I hadn't received it the night before, she said they were too busy. That evening, I complained to the front desk. The next day, when I checked out, the lobby manager, Ms. Shen (2459), told me that as a resolution, they would refund a small portion of my room fee and waive the dining expenses during my stay. I then left the hotel. On the way, I received a call from Trip.com, saying that for the hotel to refund a small part of the room fee, I would need to cancel my order, which meant I wouldn't be able to leave a review. I disagreed. Afterwards, as shown in picture two, Ms. Shen called me three more times. There was no apology or intention to improve service; she just wanted me to compromise. In the last call, she even started by saying that my 2000 deposit hadn't been refunded, trying to threaten me into compromising and canceling the order. She also constantly interrupted me. I told her I would complain about her as well and hoped someone else would respond to my two complaints. On the evening of August 8th, as shown in picture three, a woman claiming to be from customer relations called. I was unable to take the call at the time, and she promised to call me back the next day. Now it's the third day, and I still haven't received a call. I feel that the hotel has no sincerity or intention to resolve the issue, which is why I'm writing this negative review. Separately, the Hainanese chicken rice from room service was also very bad. The chicken was dry and fishy, and even the rice tasted like it was from yesterday. At the hotel's Michelin-recommended Chinese restaurant, Luchenxuan (2026), I ordered a Boston lobster mapo tofu. It wasn't spicy, numbing, fresh, or fragrant; it was bland and had a beany taste. When the waiter asked for my feedback at checkout, they immediately waived the charge for that dish. At least the restaurant service was acceptable, but the service from the front desk and customer relations department is completely unworthy of a five-star hotel.

Great location, making it easy to get around. It's a 3-minute walk to Zhongshan Road, the Eighth Market, the ferry terminal, and Heping Wharf. Xiamen University's Baicheng Beach is just two bus stops away. The surrounding area is full of snack streets. The room was clean and tidy, with smart voice control (Xiao Du system), and free access to a washing machine and gym.

The housekeepers were all very warm, polite, and accommodating. They even greeted me proactively when I met them before heading out. The room service staff were also incredibly thoughtful; when I wasn't feeling well and asked for a cup of warm water, they brought me a whole pot. The only downside was the air conditioning, which I wasn't happy with at all, as it was very, very slow to adjust the temperature. The view was fantastic, and I really appreciated that my room was ready early for check-in.

My stay was very satisfying. The hotel has a grand and clean environment, and its location is very convenient for getting around. All the room amenities were in good working order. The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. I must especially commend Kisu and Susie for their incredibly patient service. They thoughtfully helped me with my travel route inquiries and adjusted my requests with such meticulousness and warmth, never being perfunctory with guests. I felt very comfortable and secure during my stay, and I highly recommend this hotel.

An ideal choice for families with young children, with impeccable attention to detail and unbeatable convenience! This stay truly exceeded our expectations! First off, the room was incredibly spacious. What impressed me most was the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and bedroom – after putting the baby to sleep at night, we could comfortably wash up and pack our bags without worrying about disturbing them. This design is so thoughtful for families with kids. The hotel amenities are also quite comprehensive. Not only is there a bathtub, but also a private pool, and our child absolutely loved playing in the water. Even better, the hotel is super close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Taking the kids to explore the beach and dig in the sand was incredibly convenient, and going back and forth multiple times a day was no problem at all. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious, satisfying both adults and children. All in all, it was an impeccable and delightful trip. Highly recommended with five stars, we'll definitely be back!

The hotel boasts an excellent location with expansive sea views, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the sea-view rooms offer breathtaking scenery. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and complete bathroom facilities. The service is warm and attentive, with prompt front desk responses. Breakfast is rich and features local Fujian (Min-nan) specialties. The accompanying pool and gym facilities are comprehensive, offering great value for money. The surrounding area is quiet, and transportation is convenient, making it suitable for both leisure and business stays. Overall, the experience was satisfying and highly recommended.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the attractions, but since we were driving, it wasn't a big issue. There aren't any shopping areas within walking distance; you have to walk a bit to find some hustle and bustle. The room was spacious, and they kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room, which had a fantastic view. The only thing I have to complain about is the swimming pool. It felt like it was outsourced and completely lacked the service you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. Every shower stall reeked of urine, and after I told the attendant, she just sprayed some air freshener. The towels weren't laid out either; when I asked, the attendant told me to go find them myself in the utility room. The hairdryer's outlet also looked quite unsafe. This is a big deduction of points.

We loved this hotel. Got a wonderful upgraded suite with a great sea view on the 22nd. floor. Liked the hotel so much we stayed an extra day. Breakfast lots of choice and great coffee. Staff service is exceptional. Short stroll to the Gulangyu island ferry. I recommend the tram ride around the island. Only a few blocks walk to a main street with bakeries and small restaurants as well. Would definitely stay here again
