AAnonymous UserThe room is fully equipped with cooking facilities like an oven and a dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and dryer, which is very convenient. The location is also good, not far to walk to the commercial street and supermarket. However, the downside is that there's a lot of noise early in the morning next to the hotel, possibly from garbage trucks collecting rubbish, which somewhat affected my sleep.

GGuest UserWe checked in late in the night. We needed an extra bed in our room and Front desk did not say no even though Hoise keeping was not available. 10 stars to the hospitality! Rooms were big enough, hotel within walking distance to Sky tower. All in all everything was superb!
8.7/10
Very Good
GGuest UserWe arrived at around 10:30am and requested an early check in, as we had a 5:00am flight the following morning. We fully understood that the standard 1500pm check in time applied and that any early check-in was subject to room availability. We therefore appreciated the hotel accommodating us with a room at 1230pm. Unfortunately, the room was not ready to the standard we expected. We found an empty bottle on the floor, and the glass door/window could not be locked properly. Although, we requested a room change, we were informed that none were available at the time and maintenance advised that the lock would require drilling and screwing to repair. What disappointed us most was not the need for the repair itself, but how the situation was handled. The communication from the maintenance staff came across as abrupt when we were asked whether we wanted the repair carried out or not. We also felt greater consideration could have been given to guests, as drilling may not be suitable for those with allergies, asthma or sensitivities to dust or noise. Holiday inn has always been a brand I associate with consistent international standards, particularly from my experiences in South-East Asia. While we appreciated the hotel's flexibility in offering an early check-in, we do not believe this should come at the expense of basic expectations such as cleanliness, security, and a room that is ready for occupancy. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident rather than a reflection of the hotel's usual standards. Many guests arrive after long journeys simply looking forward to a clean, secure and comfortable place to rest. A little more thoughtfulness in both room readiness and communication would make a meaningful difference to the overall guest experience.

HHandsomeRayI had a wonderful stay here! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
The room was clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything I needed, and having a washing machine was extremely convenient. One of my favorite features was the spa bathtub, and it was perfect for relaxing after a long day.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Auckland. Thank you for the excellent service!

GGuest UserThe room was well-equipped, clean, and beautifully decorated with great aesthetic appeal. I heard there's a huge rose garden across the street, but I didn't have time to visit. Overall, it was good value for money. This was my last night in New Zealand, staying in Auckland, and I slept very comfortably. A big plus is its relatively central location and free parking, which I searched for quite a while to find.

GGuest UserIt's a little out of the city.
I recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet place or golf, not sightseeing.
It's very quiet and nice.
But you have to get the forest view.
The only downside is the parking lot.
The forest view is really nice (it feels like Ubud).
It was very quiet. The free parking was nice, too.
The air is fresh, the rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is excellent. They have an ice tray,
so I was able to enjoy a tumbler with it.
A coffee truck opens in the parking lot in the morning.
You can get a simple McMorning and coffee.

FfftxpyHaka is truly a mark of quality in New Zealand. Every one of their hostels has the same decor, and I really appreciate the USB-C ports by the bed. The privacy curtains are a must-have for a hostel. They've got all the essentials. The only downside was having to pay for luggage storage, and the front desk wasn't always staffed. It was really frustrating trying to check out in a hurry and not being able to reach anyone at the front desk.

TTaogekanshijie[”**Version 1 (Short & Sweet):**\nSuper satisfied with our transit stay! The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly soft – I slept wonderfully. The free airport shuttle was so convenient, a real lifesaver for those with connecting flights or catching an early plane. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center; for pure sightseeing, staying downtown would be better. But for a transit stop, this place gets a full recommendation!”,”**Version 2 (Balanced & Honest):**\nThe overall hotel experience was good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after a long flight. The free airport shuttle service was the biggest highlight, saving both hassle and taxi fares. The location is indeed a bit out of the way and far from the city center, so it's not ideal for sightseeing or shopping. However, for a one-night transit stay, it's definitely a top choice and offers great value for money.”,”**Version 3 (Heartfelt Praise):**\nThis hotel is perfectly suited for an airport layover! The room was big enough, and the bedding was soft, making for a great night's sleep. The best part was the free round-trip airport shuttle – such thoughtful service, no need to fuss with taxis. The location is a bit far from the city center, making it less convenient for tourism, but for catching an early flight or a transit stay, it's truly excellent. Highly recommended for fellow frequent flyers!”]
