The palace was built in the Ming Dynasty, located in the west of the six palaces of the inner court west road, originally the five two of the Ming Dynasty dry west. When Yuan Li was the prince, he first lived in Yuan Qing Palace. After his marriage in 1727, he moved to the two houses in Ganxi. In the eleventh year (1733), Yuan Li was knighted as "Prince Heshuobao" and the place of residence was given the name "Leshantang". After Yuan Li became emperor, it was promoted to the palace as a place of Zhaoxiang, and it was famous as the palace.
