If you are looking for a luxurious glass house inspired dining experience, coupled with a 360 degree visually stunning panoramic view of the Singapore's city skyline , why not check out the afternoon high tea at 1-Atico on the 56th floor of ION Orchard ? Yes 56th floor which is 218 metres above ground !
The floor is spacious and the high tables or cosy sofa seatings are adequately spread out so that you can enjoy your personal dining space with your family and friends.
The high tea set goes for $58++ which is good for two person and you get to enjoy a decent selection of savories such as :
- Lobster Bisque Shooter
- Blini with Salmon Caviar and Sour Cream
- Mini Vol-au-vent with Parma Ham and Burratina Cheese
- Mini Chicken Pie
- Mushroom and Spinach Quiche
- Raspberry Lychee Rose Cake
- Mini Lemon Meringue Tart
- Carrot Cake
- Mini Fruit Tartlet
- Madeleines
- Assorted Macarons
My personal fav goes to the shooter which is rich and flavourful. Also the set comes with your choice of free flow coffee or tea for two. Additional glass of Red / White / Prosecco wine will be at $15++.
While seeping on the free flow coffee, you can chill, relax and catch the romantic sunset view of Orchard Road's shopping belt as the evening draws by. Truly theraputic and luxurious experience. You may perhaps want to return and check out their other two dining concepts at Fire and FLNT too.

Located in the Orchard area high on the 56th floor, ION Sky is an observatory where you can have a bird's eye view of the Singapore city. For a more interactive AR experience, you can also use the ION Orchard mobile app to view the various attractions around the city.
This place is about 56 floors high. When I went there, the highest floor was under maintenance. We only went to the 55th floor. At that time, we watched there and could see different scenery. There were a lot of restaurants and libraries inside. You can enjoy the night view here.
Here in ion, you can enjoy the beauty of Singapore's city in all directions, especially beautiful. In the evening, you can see the famous buildings in the bay of Singapore, especially spectacular, it is highly recommended to come here.
Oujie Road is Singapore's "Wangfujing" or "Nanjing Road". We have no intention of purchasing, so we only choose the 55,56-floor viewing platform recommended by netizens to ION shopping mall. The exit of the subway station is just below the floor of ION shopping mall. After inquiry, I find the exit and entrance elevator of ION Sky. Take the direct elevator to the top open floor of the shopping mall, which is a large bar and restaurant, but part of the public area is open to the public. There are quite a few tourists here. Of course, it's still a drop in the bucket compared with those on Orchard Road. Standing here, you can see Singapore's urban outlook, high-rise buildings, but this is not a cement forest city, a large area of green vegetation around buildings, there are many green areas in the city. The most amazing thing is that many high-rise buildings and roofs in the city have planted trees in addition to growing flowers and grass. Greening in Singapore is really all-round and three-dimensional.
The view is amazing although it was crowded when we went as the Jurassic Cafe was opened a d a lot of people were there for the dinosaur themed dining experience.
IONSKY is a sightseeing platform on the building in Chinatown, Singapore. It is also a rooftop view restaurant where you can enjoy Singapore cuisine at night while enjoying the beautiful night view of Singapore and the romantic things of time.
