[Explore SG] Beautiful island getaway
#freehotelstay As a born and bred Singaporean, I was surprised that I had never been to Lazarus island, because if I had, I would have made it my secret hideout for gatherings and picnics with friends and family.
It was just a half-hour boat ride away, with a short stopover at Kusu Island, and we arrived at St. John island, where you could walk over to the quiet and serene Lazarus island. Occasionally, there were monkeys accompanying your walk to the beach, especially if you had food with you, but otherwise, you could simply take a stroll around the peaceful island and explore the beauty of nature within.
On the beach, I could count the number of people with my fingers, although there were a couple of yachts parked not too far away from the shore, and you could see kids playing with the floats around the yachts.
We simply laid our picnic mat out and nibbled on our grapes, whiling the lazy afternoon away. What a perfect afternoon it was. #singapore #naturelover

Lazarus island is a small island in the south of Singapore. No one lives here, but there are many families bringing dogs to run and tourists to play. This beach is very long and white and clean.
