Date: 2023/12/15-12/16 19:00
Venue: Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Oriental Sports Center
Wakin Chau's Shanghai concert is coming! Are you all ready to come to the venue and listen to the memories of the years? Walking in Shanghai in winter, feeling the classic music, is really super nice~
1. The Bund
The Bund is located on the banks of the Huangpu River, with a total length of about 1.5 kilometers. It is a symbol of Shanghai's urban landscape, and its essence lies in the diverse styles of the international architecture complex and the night view of the Pujiang River. The Bund stands with dozens of different styles of classical revival buildings, such as the well-known Bank of China Building, Peace Hotel, Customs House, HSBC Building, etc., which reproduce the style of the 'Wall Street of the Far East' from the past.
2. Yu Garden
Yu Garden in Shanghai is located in the northeast of the Yu Garden Tourist and Commercial Area, adjacent to the Shanghai City God Temple and Shanghai Yu Garden Tourist Mart. It is a well-known classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River and a famous historical and cultural site known at home and abroad. In 1982, it was approved by the State Council as a 'National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit'.
3. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is one of Shanghai's bustling commercial streets. It has been a gathering place for department stores since the early 20th century, and a stroll here is sure to be rewarding. Today, it has both old-brand department stores such as Yong'an Department Store, Hualian Department Store, Silk Department Store, and large shopping centers like New World City, Bailian World Trade International Plaza, Landmark Plaza, Henderson Celebrity Shopping Center, and Hongyi Plaza. Here you can almost buy any product.
From December 15th, let's meet at the Oriental Sports Center and listen to the classic melodies on site~
room was clean and comfortable breakfast was delicious easy to find and near the metro station
A nice experience. A great view of the illuminated buildings on the shoreline. The river cruise took roughly an hour. We stood up for the whole trip taking (far too many) photos. There are toilet facilities on board, and don’t forget to take a jacket or jumper as it can get a bit windy.
Tips:It is nice place to walk especially at night. A night cruise along this river is a fantastic way to see the city lights, the are something else. We paid extra to get up front on the boat and it was well worth it as we had uninterrupted viewing. An absolute must do in Shanghai.
Amazing view at night. but mostly crowded. it used to have a great laser light show but i have revisited this year but i haven’t seen it.
View of the Pearl Tower and river Huang Phu is very beautiful. Both sides of the Huang Phu River are lit up in the evening, very beautiful. I went here two days in a row.
Huangpu River is beautiful, especially at night. The lights coming from buildings and skyscrapers across the river are breathtaking.
Shanghai is split in two by the Huangpu River, which divides the city into Puxi, west of the river, and Pudong, east of the river. Both terms can be used in a general sense for everything on their side of the river, including various suburbs.
