Auerbachs Keller is a local old-fashioned traditional German restaurant in Leipzig, just in the arcade shopping street Mädler Passage. A big restaurant is almost full, a little surprised that the table does not follow the "safe distance" to put a lot of menu content, since the traditional restaurant, the two main dishes are on the "typical Saxony cuisine" page ordered - trilogy of home made jellied meat: the three meat frozen for the front dish, a plate of two people is just right. Chicken breast meat is frozen with vanilla, slightly sour boiled beef meat frozen with lentils, both of which are quite delicious. In contrast, the brown carp meat frozen tastes a bit light. - "leipziger" dark beer meat: Dark beer pig neck meat, so fragrant! The pork neck meat has been marinated and fried, and then burned in the dark beer sauce with mushrooms, onions and German sauerkraut. The pork neck meat is very tender, and the saltiness of the dark beer sauce is acceptable. It is suitable for rice mixed with fried potato cakes! - braised leg of venion: The elk legs are also good, the meat is quite squat, the purple kale is also burned soft, the cream sauce is warm and delicious, and the cranberries are sprinkled in the plate, which is seasoned and greasy at the same time. The potato balls are full of milk, and they are still a bit unaccustomed to its sticky taste. - leipziger quarkkäulchen: Leipzig curd pancakes are warm, with vanilla cream, one entrance is very hot, dig a spoonful of cinnamon ice cream, and the mouth is ice and fire. The two main dishes are not as thick as expected, and the whole is quite satisfactory. The dining environment is slightly noisy, and several old German restaurants have been to this atmosphere. For tourists who want to taste the local traditional German cuisine, it is a good choice to come here for a meal. Price, fore-course and desserts, order a two-person serving, plus two main courses, almost 65 euros without drinks.
