SANHE Hotel(Wulingyuan ，National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie)

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! Staying at this hotel was an incredibly comfortable experience. The first thing that impressed us was how spotlessly clean everything was. Since it’s a relatively new property, everything feels fresh and well maintained. What makes this place special is that it doesn’t feel like a typical hotel. Instead, it has the warm, relaxed atmosphere of a cozy guesthouse, while still offering the professionalism and service standards of a well-managed hotel. One of our favorite things was being able to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea whenever we wanted. They serve an excellent black tea, and it’s honestly one of the best we’ve had. (Photos included as proof!) Another big plus was the convenient service for booking attraction tickets and arranging transportation. It made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. Some people might think the hotel is a little far from the East Gate of the scenic area, but for us, a 5–10 minute drive was completely reasonable and never felt inconvenient. The hotel’s bar is also worth mentioning. The bartender, who is also one of the owners, makes an outstanding Gin & Tonic with a wonderfully rich flavor. After a long day of sightseeing, relaxing with a drink in the evening was the perfect way to end the day. The room itself is beautifully designed with a modern style. The toilet seat is heated, the furniture is made of solid wood, and each mirror has its own touch-controlled lighting—perfect for anyone who enjoys taking selfies! Overall, this is definitely a hotel we would choose again and happily recommend to others.

This hotel was an exceptional stay for me and my sister. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They also have a cool tea station, where you can relax, unwind and try different Chinese tea. They offered us free pick up and drop offs to the national park (avatar mountains) which was very convenient. They have information on different activities, although I’d recommend booking those on trip.com as it works out either the same or slightly cheaper. Our room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, nice view, the facilities were great. I really recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great, we based ourselves here for 3 nights to explore the national park. The free shuttle service was brilliant and very easy to organise through the front desk or WeChat. Free maps, information and tea experiences were great. A very bizarre complaint is that each day we were given very little toilet roll, only less than half a normal UK sized roll. The adjoining restaurant (where breakfast is served) was not terrible, but we ordered 2 different dishes (1 sweet and sour pork, one General Tso chicken) and both were served with the exact same sauce, which tasted like cheap tomato sauce - very tangy and otherwise bland. The beef rice was delicious though. The bar/cafe/restaurant to the other side was great for drinks, and the food looked great but we didn’t try any this time. The self serve laundry service was fantastic! Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel. The room was very spacious and everything very clean and well maintained.

We stayed at the SANHE Hotel in Wulingyuan during our trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and were very pleased with the experience. Although the hotel isn’t directly beside the main tourist area, getting to the east entrance was quick and inexpensive. A Didi ride took around 12 minutes, so staying slightly farther out felt like great value compared to the pricier hotels near the park. The hotel itself has a very modern feel, with thoughtful high-tech touches like an in-room projector and a voice-controlled smart system for the curtains, air conditioning, and lighting. (The voice controls are mainly practical if you speak Mandarin.) All five people in our group were happy with their rooms and overall stay. Most importantly, the service staff were great! They were very helpful in helping us book cars to the park, and providing local/park information. In particular, shout out to 张婷 at reception, whose warmth and excellent service made our stay even better. One small feedback i would give is to open the pool earlier, so that guests have time to use it before checkout or before they step out for the day. When we were there, the pool was only opened from 12noon onwards.
