grabfood driver is not allowed to enter. They have to park at the guard house and walk in or we have to walk out..hope they can allow them to come in nearer to the main entrance.

View is of greenery - facing the golf course. Gorgeous.
Hotel was running full, friendly reception officer Finy, offered me a deluxe room with twin beds, balcony golf course view. My original booking was standard room king bed.
Shuttle buses at certain timings to Grand Batam
Mall and Nagoya Hill.
Gym was well equipped.
I saw the Sauna and yoga area at level 10
One thing to note- the sun is overhead in the morning.
So the pool does not get sun as it is blocked by hotel building( until around 1015am) . In the afternoon there is chance of sun.
The area where the cafe is gets morning sun.
Cafe Luminal next to the hotel served coffe roast from starbucks .not a major starbucks coffee fan so I had watermelon juice instead.
Cafe’s environment was great for remote working as there were many charge points.

Stayed the the resort for 4 days, the staff were super friendly and helpful. On the last day they granted us an extra one hour to check out. The massages offered were phenomenal, would definitely come back again for those. However, the hotel might be slightly run down in some places. The amenities looked good but the swimming pool water pumps were not on causing the temperature to be very centralised in some areas and a lot of debris to build up. Moreover, the hotel location was not very suited for my family as we had initially wanted to go to the different beaches. We ended up taking a 40 minute taxi to different places everyday, once even going to the other Harris hotel in Barelang. Overall, the staff was amazing but the other aspects were average. Check in/out was quick and friendly. Based on the hotel exterior and dim lobby, the room was a nice surprise. Quite big and bright with a high ceiling and modern looking. Room was clean with good aircon and cold fridge. Water pressure and water temperature weren't great but acceptable. TV was not sharp, most channels were kinda grainy but wifi was good. Breakfast spread was varied although on the first day nobody bothered to clear our finished plates even though there were only about 5 guests in the restaurant. Second day was better though, guess different staff working. Housekeeping was accommodating when we requested to make up the room in the late afternoon.
Golden prawn 933/555 seafood was a 5 min walk from the hotel and looked pretty at night with the lights. Besides the seafood place, nothing much else seems to be around the area.FromAU$41

A first timer visiting Montigo Resorts. Very near to Ferry Terminal. There’s complimentary bus service to the resort. Once arrive at the resort, the staff will welcome the guests to the resort. They will help to get your passports to check in while having u sitting at the comfortable sofa.
Once the room is ready, they will arrange buggy to send u to the room. The room is big! (Was given a free upgrade, Thank You!)
The room is a little “old” and a little rundown with dirtied white walls surface on the room. The bed n pillows are too soft. Their room swimming pool has a nice sea view, but the water does not seem to be clean enough as both I and partner develop mild rashes or eczema after a swim. The aircon in the rooms also seem old and it had a hard time trying to cool the room. I had to on the fan. They probably need to refurbish the entire resort to give it a fresh look.
Breakfast varieties are not much. Not all the food are nice IMO.
Do note that this resort is about 40-50min away from City Centre. U can take a grab around 132,000 to 139,000.
However, I must give a 5 star to the service that all the staff had rendered. A whatsapp msg to call for buggy and never once they failed me. They always have a smile at your request. I like their service. 👍

View is of greenery - facing the golf course. Gorgeous.
Hotel was running full, friendly reception officer Finy, offered me a deluxe room with twin beds, balcony golf course view. My original booking was standard room king bed.
Shuttle buses at certain timings to Grand Batam
Mall and Nagoya Hill.
Gym was well equipped.
I saw the Sauna and yoga area at level 10
One thing to note- the sun is overhead in the morning.
So the pool does not get sun as it is blocked by hotel building( until around 1015am) . In the afternoon there is chance of sun.
The area where the cafe is gets morning sun.
Cafe Luminal next to the hotel served coffe roast from starbucks .not a major starbucks coffee fan so I had watermelon juice instead.
Cafe’s environment was great for remote working as there were many charge points.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this hotel several times, and it’s always been a fantastic experience! While the hotel recently rebranded from Best Western Premier to Wyndham, I’m happy to report that the level of service has remained excellent.
From check-in, the front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, making the process quick and smooth. The cafe team, especially during breakfast, were attentive and ensured everything was in place, which really made my mornings. Housekeeping was also top-notch, maintaining the room spotless and well-stocked.

|2.03km from city centerCheck-in was quite fast. Do note that a deposit is required. Lobby was undergoing renovations but it wasn't too bad. Other than the lobby (cos reno), it really is a very beautiful property.
We opted for the studio villa as we wanted the higher walls for privacy. Room was very clean and spacious, bed with lots of pillows was comfortable for me. Room had two ac units which was appreciated as it definitely cooled down the room faster. Smart TV worked fine with loads of channels. Bathroom (& bathtub) was huge but the water pressure was a bit low on the shower/tub tap although was ok for the sink and toilet. Private pool was clean altho i think the wooden slats may need some maintenance work. We didn't encounter much mosquitoes, maybe there was one or two flying around on our last day.
Our room came with two complimentary daily drinks at the restaurant which is smack in the middle of the resort. Breakfast was semi buffet. During check-in, you fill out this slip for each day for your choice of mains. If you want to change your choice, just go back to the reception desk one day before your scheduled breakfast to update your slip. Although there were 3 time slots, we actually came in much earlier before our alloted slot, and it wasn't an issue. Besides breakfast, we also had room service. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. Spent abt sgd12 total for nasi goreng and mee goreng. Something that I've never encountered at any other hotel was we had to sign an acknowledgement form when we ordered in, like to say we received 2 plates, 2 spoons etc. Not a big issue.
The best part of Woda is the staff. From housekeeping to property maintenance to restaurant staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful.
