Gave only 3 stars for cleanliness because we were given a smoking room even when we have booked a non-smoking room. The room has a weird smell even after they said they have cleaned it. They claimed all rooms were fully booked so can’t change. The hangers are those types that cannot be taken out and they were really built for tall people. Short people have difficulty hanging their clothes and if they are old, is “mission impossible”for them. No stools in the room to ease the challenge. The body soap and shampoo dispensers were difficult to press and only has very miserable drop being dispensed each time. Quality of the shampoo + conditioner (stated on the dispenser) is not good for female hair especially if is long.FromSGD 39

Location was good with good breakfast spread. Hotel amenities are lacking no proper lighting, no phone and fridge. Room size is good but place nearby has a mosque which has early prayer and a Cockerell that crow nonstop.
Service is not up to standard at the breakfast place as table I was sitting had a table that was wobbling and a l when I told the waiter about it he tried but couldn't fixed the issue and simple walk away without correcting the issue.
Bag area was too slippery and causes me to fall during one of the bath injuring my but and hand in the process.
Besides those issues I think the hotel is worth the money I paid and generally place is a good stay but improvement to service attitude need further improvement.FromSGD 30

The hotel's location is incredibly close to nearby shopping malls. The staff are fluent in English and accommodating to guest requests. Most rooms are smoking-friendly, and there's a designated smoking area at the main entrance. Every day, the staff proactively reach out via WhatsApp in standard English to ask guests if they'd like their rooms serviced.
Now, for the less favorable aspects:
First, there's a noticeable odor from the bathroom. If the toilet lid and bathroom door aren't kept closed, a strong sewage smell permeates the room.
Second, the shower facilities only include a bathtub and a showerhead. If you prefer to stand and shower, you might find water pooling in the shower area, as it doesn't drain effectively.
Upon check-in, I noticed the bedsheets weren't very clean. They looked like they had been washed but still had some discoloration. The pillows also had traces of red spots.
It's also worth noting that each floor has a water dispenser. Rooms are equipped with glass water bottles. If you need drinking water, you'll have to use your room's bottle to refill it yourself on your floor, as the hotel does not provide bottled drinking water.FromSGD 30

Loved our stay here! Such a beautiful resort and beach front. The location is good for a clear beach and ocean view, no ships/ferries nearby. The pools were great too. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only the ventilation was not working in the toilet so everything remained rather wet for longer. Breakfast spread was good, Indonesian and western. They have a restaurant open there for lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the door men and buggy and shuttle drivers. My go-to hotel in Batam, this isn't a 5 star hotel but Im purely rating this hotel based on my expectations and experience. I was blown away by how honest their staff were: So I made additional cash payment to extend a very late checkout and then immediately proceeded to have breakfast at the in-house cafe. While dining, a cafe staff came up to me to inform that he was helping on behalf of the front desk receptionist to tell me that I had given extra IDR 100,000 and hence returning me the cash. While it is not exactly a huge sum of money, I truly appreciated their effort, and kudos for their integrity!FromSGD 29

Amazing stay at marriott hotel as it is conveniently located above harbour bay. The staff was helpful in providing services to deliver our luggages to the departure hall although it is just a short distance. Services went beyond expectations as they gave complementary breakfasts for no email response and even offered to decorate the room when we told them that we are celebrating our anniversary! Excellent location. Has direct access to Grand Batam Mall on levels 2, 4 and 5. Breakfast buffet has a good spread and different selections on the two days we stayed there. Restaurant was crowded during breakfast so we sat outside near the pool. Had a power trip in the room during our stay but staff was quick to fix it. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Very near Batam centre ferry centre, but away from beach area. Majestic hotel, grand, posh! I love this hotel. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is huge, with jacuzzi pool too. Staff is friendly.
But pls buy your own water. As hotel only gives 2 bottles of water a day.

First time stay in Swiss belhotel harbour bay…
Good hotel near by harbour bay ferry terminal..just walk about 10 minutes and the services is really awesome from the guest officer until the restaurant staff really excellent , especially Maya she always check on us about anything that make us comfortable to stay and she make birthday surprise that make us feel special and the restaurant staff Anabil (if not wrong the name 😊)he also very good
But mostly all the staff in the hotel very good and friendly and the breakfast also good..

It was a wonderful experience staying here with my parents and child as a whole family. The hotel is conveniently located, with a comfortable and pleasant environment. We were especially satisfied with the complimentary birthday decorations, and the small birthday cake was a very thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were extremely warm and welcoming. |5.55km from city centerOverall is really a beautiful plc to rest and get away from the busy city life. I would like to suggest more drinking water provided to guests (either provide a water dispenser or additional water given). Per room per day is only given 2 small bottles of mineral water. Believe me, in our climate it is really insufficient. I felt so dehydrated. The drinks I can order from the restaurant are sweetened drinks. So that was really a drawback for me. They have a shop but they do not sell any mineral water.
Breakfast is quite sad too.. I was expecting a bit more options for this location since it is secluded frm other eateries. Room service food was much better than the breakfast provided so I'm not sure why such a big difference in quality and taste.
Communications in the hotel can be better too. I had informed reception 4 hours before check out for use of a buggy as our unit is very far. Nobody came for us. They called to remind us to check out and I told them yes, we are waiting for the buggy we requested. Subsequently I had to call another 3 times before someone came and the person was also very rude.

|2.03km from city centerCheck-in was quite fast. Do note that a deposit is required. Lobby was undergoing renovations but it wasn't too bad. Other than the lobby (cos reno), it really is a very beautiful property.
We opted for the studio villa as we wanted the higher walls for privacy. Room was very clean and spacious, bed with lots of pillows was comfortable for me. Room had two ac units which was appreciated as it definitely cooled down the room faster. Smart TV worked fine with loads of channels. Bathroom (& bathtub) was huge but the water pressure was a bit low on the shower/tub tap although was ok for the sink and toilet. Private pool was clean altho i think the wooden slats may need some maintenance work. We didn't encounter much mosquitoes, maybe there was one or two flying around on our last day.
Our room came with two complimentary daily drinks at the restaurant which is smack in the middle of the resort. Breakfast was semi buffet. During check-in, you fill out this slip for each day for your choice of mains. If you want to change your choice, just go back to the reception desk one day before your scheduled breakfast to update your slip. Although there were 3 time slots, we actually came in much earlier before our alloted slot, and it wasn't an issue. Besides breakfast, we also had room service. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. Spent abt sgd12 total for nasi goreng and mee goreng. Something that I've never encountered at any other hotel was we had to sign an acknowledgement form when we ordered in, like to say we received 2 plates, 2 spoons etc. Not a big issue.
The best part of Woda is the staff. From housekeeping to property maintenance to restaurant staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Excellent variety of food that’s both delicious and exceptional. Portions are big and filling. Hotel is away from the nearest mall; about 30-40 minutes car drive.
Had an excellent and relaxing time.

|5.05km from city centerStayed the the resort for 4 days, the staff were super friendly and helpful. On the last day they granted us an extra one hour to check out. The massages offered were phenomenal, would definitely come back again for those. However, the hotel might be slightly run down in some places. The amenities looked good but the swimming pool water pumps were not on causing the temperature to be very centralised in some areas and a lot of debris to build up. Moreover, the hotel location was not very suited for my family as we had initially wanted to go to the different beaches. We ended up taking a 40 minute taxi to different places everyday, once even going to the other Harris hotel in Barelang. Overall, the staff was amazing but the other aspects were average. Would recommend this hotel for people who are just looking for an escape from busy life and planning to stay in the hotel.
