Location: quite difficult to locate, some bolt drivers got lost trying to find the entrance
Check in: was a breeze, but had to pay a deposit of 5000baht which we were not informed of even in trip or confirmation email, i wish this was more transparent. It will only be returned to you during check out after housekeeping staff check your room( it will be deducted any item is damaged or missing)
- After check in, shuttle will bring you up as the rooms are location on top, lobby at the bottom of the hill. The shuttle was very dangerous , if you are with luggage, going up the hill theres no buckle to hold on to your luggage if you do not hold on to it tight enough, it will just roll off the shuttle , we were also not warned about the steep slope.
＞ our room was located in the middle of the blocks, so the shuttle dropped us at the bottom and we had to climb the stairs with our luggages, the staff did not want to help us carry at first.
- no shelter at all at the lobby, if its raining, then you’ll have to walk under the rain to the shuttle.
- you can request the shuttle to drive you from your room to the lobby/vise versa as it is not really convenient with the hill and STEPS.
-The first 2 days, staff was fine, all good driving us up and down whenever we called, then out of a sudden, they asked us to use the ‘shortcut’ to our room. Did not specify why, but we rejected after walking the FLOCK OF STAIRS for a day, they were at least 5 stories steep mind you.
- if you do not wish to take the stairs, you may walk up/ down the hill, which is VERY dark during night time.
Check out: worst day of all, they called your room at 1145 to rush you to check out, said will send a shuttle to OUR ROOM but did not specify which block they will be waiting at, we waited but no one came to our room.
After waiting for 5mins? We are unsure if we should carry our luggages up or down to the different pickup point, so i used the staff phone outside to phone the lobby to clarify.
The staff answering the phone did not even bother to listen to my question, she just answered, ‘check out? Yes ok we will send a shuttle’ then i asked again, WHICH BLOCK SHOULD I WAIT AT??
And she replied me ‘CHECK OUT YES OR NO?’ I said YES, then she just said OK and ENDED MY CALL.
In the end, we had to carry our down luggage, without any help, up the steep stairs, and the shuttle WASN’T even there. We waited for extra 5-10mins before the shuttle came.
check out: at the lobby, had to wait 10mins for housekeeping to check our rooms before we can check out successfully and get our deposit back. At the same time I had already feedback my encounter to the manager at the lobby, which said she will take care of if later. She’s fine, she apologized.
＞ and finally it was our turn to collect the deposit, the same lady who pickup and ended my call, called out to me.
‘NI HAO NI HAO( hello hello in mandarin)
I was so offended, not every asian looking person can understand mandarin and she could have spoken to me in english cause I spoke to her manager in english right? Its obvious that she did not want to speak to me probably cause i feedback about her.

A nice modern clean hotel. I stayed here with my daughter and used it as a launch pad to the port where Phi Phi tours depart from. The good: Helpful check in, including for organising our tour. Clean and modern. Nice rooms, bathrooms and quiet central air. A top Chinese restaurant attached to the lobby. They had a street food popup rooftop restaurant. The views in the evening were stunning with bush on one side and nightlights on the other. Once you get over the 200 baht charge, the hotel taxi to the old town was very nice. A free shuttle I didn't use - only twice daily, and just to the Central mall. They had connecting rooms, which can be tricky to find. The bad: It's a bit far from things. There is no balcony at the room. The menu prices listed exclude tax and service.. a pet peeve. There was no facility to charge to the room. Paying by credit card in the restaurants they kept setting to the foreign card currency, via some third party with a poor conversion rate. It was a real struggle just to simply get a charge in Thai Baht. The pool is very small but has a nice view. The gym looked pretty good but I didn't use it. Would I stay there again? It was a very beautiful and relaxing stay. We had the Senses Suite which came with a jacuzzi and ample room space with living hall, balcony etc. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Everything is good except for the location which was quite far from the beach as the place is located on a hill top. Nevertheless this is compensated with a complimentary shuttle service which goes to Patong beach and shopping mall, Jungceylon.
By foot, you will need 15-20 minutes to walk but by car, about 8 minutes. The swimming pool is huge and very beautiful overlooking the sea and town.
Overall it was a really good stay.From$61

I recently had the opportunity to extend my stay at Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa Phuket due to a missed flight, and I must say it turned out to be a delightful experience. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our last-minute request for an extra night, ensuring a seamless transition to a new room.
Although our new room was located further up the hill, away from the beach, it was a luxurious haven. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities one would expect from a high-end resort. The panoramic views from the room were stunning, making up for the slight inconvenience of having to take a slow-moving roller coaster car to the lobby area.
Speaking of the facilities, I can confidently say that they are nothing short of excellent. The resort boasts an array of amenities catering to various interests and preferences. Whether it was lounging by the pool, indulging in spa treatments, or taking part in the recreational activities offered, there was never a dull moment during our stay.
One aspect that truly stood out during our extended stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. From assisting us with our luggage during the room change to offering helpful suggestions for local attractions, their attentiveness and professionalism were commendable.
Despite the unexpected change of plans, Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa Phuket remained a five-star experience. The comfort and luxury of the room, combined with the outstanding facilities and the hospitality of the staff, made it a memorable stay. This hotel is AMAZING but the staff oh my goodness, words can’t even begin to describe their kindness and softness I loved every minute of my stay and I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be near Pa tong area it’s a walking distance to the beach about 15mins and I find it easier to just walk instead of a taxi Patong is a very busy area, it’s near bangla road if you wanna party 😉 or just wanna go to the markets, for a massage or food. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar and a restaurant, they have room service, rooms are cleaned everyday all in all it’s an amazing hotel and the location is perfect cause it’s not at the centre of the chaos 🫶🏽🫶🏽From$58

Prior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds. Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of ****s and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it! Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off! If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport. Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience. If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother. The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. A very nice hotel in a great spot in patong. We were traveling as a family of 4 with two young children. Our room was located on the road side which was incredibly noisy with the sound of motorbikes. Asked to change to a quieter room and needed to pay more to move across the corridor to the pool side view rooms. Worth it for the better sleep. Breakfast was fantastic and the rooftop pool was really nice. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the beach and easy to get a taxi to other places in Phuket.
It’s a shame the rooftop pool closes at 9pm and no other evening entertainment in the hotel unfortunately but plenty outside on the doorstep.

Good location. 5 minute walk to the beach. Easy access to taxi's and tuk tuks right outside the hotel.
Hotel is ”tired ” looking - several areas in need of repair around the pool (damaged tiles etc) jacuzzi didn't work. The shower in the room was shocking. Very low pressure and temperature changed from hot to cold throughout the shower. The glass door also wasn't long enough so the bathroom floor was soaked after every shower. Room very basic however clean enough. Lighting in the room was too low also which made the room seem rather dark.
Robes,slippers and toiletries all provided and kept full throughout stay.

It was really close to Patong Beach hub. My only complains are for the breakfast. There were lots of Chinese foods and very few other options. Only one type of cheese. And the worst part was the coffee ☕️. It was terrible, at least for me. I noticed some guests brought their own coffee with them to the restaurant. Another thing that bugged me was the pool hours. The pool was closed after 7, which was exactly the time I wanted to use the pool. All in all, it was a good hotel.From$43

Great value for money. The location is excellent, a short 2 minute walk to the beach, close to Bangla road and an endless amount of great restaurants nearby.
2 massive swimming pools and a gym with decent equipment. The staff were very welcoming, especially towards my 3 year old daughter.
The rooms were cleaned daily and our shower had the highest pressure I've had in any hotel in Thailand. The breakfast had more than enough options and the egg man makes one of the best omelettes I've had.
My only advice to you would be to pay extra for a room than faces the pool as the rooms that face the road can be quite loud at night time.
We had a great stay at Patong Resort and will stay next time we are in Phuket.From$38

Staffs are friendly . My son likes the fun pool alot . Room with jacuzzi is great . Breakfast spread is nice . Hotel is great especially one of the buggy staff , dint manage to ask for his name but he is most friendly and funny .
Just one issue for room : ants can be seen crawling everywhere. Even no food around . We still have to throw containers of food at level one to prevent more ants to room .
I extended one more day and Counter staff did not inform that we have to go to counter to renew the check in card . We only realized after we tried tapping card to room after a long day . We have to then walk back to check in counter to enquire . And the staff didn’t explain what happen til I ask . Staff did not apologize too .From$86

Lovely and picturesque hotel with a beautiful territory and multiple pools, right beside the sea. Very convenient location close to lots of the restaurants, shops, bars and not far from the walking street. Simple but clean and cosy rooms with very comfortable matrasses and nice balconies. We had a slight issue with the Wi-Fi in our room which we reported to the reception. They sent an IT person who fixed it quickly. Very caring and friendly attitude of the hotel staff. I definitely recommend this place!
*One thing about the taxi service right outside of the hotel (and it's nothing to do with the hotel itself) - just an advice - be sure you fixed the final price before you started the trip. We took their cars twice and both times they wanted more money at the end of the trip for no reason even though we agreed on a price before (they are very friendly when you are booking them, but get quite aggressive at the end of the trip). They left a bad impression, maybe try to find a different place to take a taxi if you need one.From$96

I heard that the man had another hotel in the Thai English cavity and immediately calmed down. another hotel ok i follew you followed him into the door. The steamer-like two-cart kept saying hot hot. The man asked if China was not hot. I said my hometown is winter now very cold I want to say how much below zero. Said that the Thai also said that my English is good, too much, but because of the blessing of the disaster, upgraded to a homestay. The environment is really good. There is a big bathtub under the floor-to-ceiling window. There is also a balcony facing the back mountain. I used the hotel's hot water bottle to burn 5 pots of water and washed a half hot bath. The kettle is overheating and cannot be protected continuously. It takes a while to cool down. It takes too long. The hot water is not enough.

|11.19km from city centerWe stayed here for two nights this week and had a wonderful time. The hostel is located in the heart of Old Town and is very accessible to all the local attractions. We were able to book a day trip to the Phi Phi islands through the hostel and got great deals and discounts due to being guests here. Everything was very clean. Hugh shout out has to be given to the staff, especially the two ladies who were working on reception as they were so kind and helpful and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We would definitely recommend this hostel and would also stay here again if we were back in the area.

|14.47km from city centerIt was my first time traveling in Southeast Asia, and Phuket happened to be the first destination of many that followed. I didn't know what to expect at all, and I wasn't sure how the Sandbox program was going to pan out for me. So I had mentally prepared myself for the worst... Once I arrived at S4 Naiyang Beach, however, I felt reassured that I had no reason to be (too) tense. From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out, Ice and his family were all very helpful as well as hospitable. While I was quarantined for the Sandbox program, they neatly plated every dish that I ordered for delivery. When I needed a way to get around town, they had a rental motorbike delivered to the hotel parking lot. When I needed to refuel, they personally accompanied me to help. It was also convenient that Ice was fluent in English, not to mention very prompt and responsive to requests. They also have the an adorable dog and a beautiful cat. (Don't worry. If you're allergic, like me, the animals are cared for in a separate area.) After S4 Naiyang Beach, I went on to see more of Phuket, other cities and provinces, and even a neighboring country. But even after a month of traveling, S4 Naiyang Beach yet remains one of my fondest memories in Thailand. Oh, and the rooms are clean and spacious!

|11.11km from city centerthis is my second time staying in this hotel. it is big, including a private pool, from which we can see a small part of the sea. it's a beautiful view. playing loud music at the pool at night didnt disturb our neighbours, so i guess the sound insulation was good. the airconditioning was not very promising (my room and my frd's also). it is quite far from the patong walking street, but quite near the kamala beach (not super clean, little people, hawkers dont hard-sell, price for food and drinks are cheap, a chill little area). i didnt get to enjoy their other amenities but their service was good.

I absolutely loved the ‘booth’ type beds and the bathroom/shower facilities are excellent and well kept. There is a launderette attached to the hostel also! It is located in the Old Town, which is gorgeous! It is a 30 min drive to PaTong and a taxi cost us €4 each (4 of us) to get there! The staff are gorgeous and so kind. We rented a moped near the hostel for an entire day. We had to give one of our passports to the shop in order to rent it. When we returned at 7pm, the moped shop was closed and we had planned a trip to James Bond island for 6:30am the next day. My boyfriend and I were very concerned about the passport so we approached the reception. A lady working there reassured us and kindly offered to return the key and helmets to the moped shop and collect our passport. And she did! When we returned to the hostel after our day trip, she greeted us with our passport and confirmation that all items were returned to the moped shop. We are so grateful for her kindness and help. She made us feel less anxious and we were able to enjoy our day trip. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

After one night i moved another Hotel which is Wayla Villa. Perfect place to stay very clean and the best hospitable owner i have ever met.

|22.83km from city centerJust spent 4 weeks here. The rooms are very nice also tea and coffee facilities. Superb large comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had laundry done weekly which was very useful. Saltwater pool superb. Lakeside Bar and Lucky 13 Restaurant excellent as well. Location is ideal. 15 minute walk to the beach and a lake alongside the resort.

Breakfast includes American, Asian, vegetarian, etc. You can choose one, and you can also choose a dessert; bread, fruit, juice, and coffee are all free. Dinner has different choices every day. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to Patong Beach, which requires a reservation.
