Staff went out of their way to help when my room fridge wasn’t working. They replaced it with a new mini fridge for my room.
I went for a visit to see my son and grandson and hotel staff welcomed my family.
I will return to Holiday Inn in Mesa Arizona again for sure. Thank you .

They serve continental breakfast every morning which was pretty good. There is a diner next door and within walking distance is Walmart and a couple restaurants. Across the street is the Superstition Springs mall for more shopping. Also location was good. Did not see any questionable people lurking around. I would definitely use this hotel again.

|3.57km from city centerMEDICAL PROCEDURE BOOKING: I booked a room for myself and my daughter because I was having a procedure done on my spine and I had to stay close to the Dr to 24 hours after. I booked this particular hotel because it had free breakfast and an outdoor pool, something my daughter could.enjoy while I slept off the anesthesia. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged $200 refundable deposit, which was not communicated to me upon booking the room, the pool was closed which was not disclosed to me a the time of booking and breakfast was not being served. I was extremely upset to find out that all the reasons I booked this specific hotel was for the amenities offered. The room was clean and the mattress was the best mattress I've ever slept on in my 43 years.

He looked at tv, said it was the gadget at bottom and turned the channels with remote 6” away. I laughed I want to be able to change channels in bed, LIKE AT HOME!! Told him to bring me a functional tv. Didn’t!!!

There were two things that we were upset about first was that their pool wasn’t available due to renovations. That was upsetting because nowhere on their website did they say it was going to be unavailable and the reason why we chose to book there was because we knew Arizona is a very hot place and we wanted to get into the pool. The second thing was they told us breakfast was from 7am-8am and we had plans on leaving by 7-7:30am, we arrived at the lobby around 7:05-7:10 for our breakfast and they were barely setting up so we had to skip out on that.

Some rooms are quite nice and it’s a good deal but be careful, the ‘price’ starts at $44 but after taxes etc it sometimes becomes $75. It used to be about $52 but now it’s at least $62 no matter what the initial cost said. The last room was awful: clogged sink, floors dirty, the door could only be opened by the staff, apparently the key cards didn’t work so you would need to see the receptionist to enter. But other times it is nice.
