Great value for money! We booked a triple room for our family of three. The hotel is conveniently located near both the beach and the lively downtown area, and the price was just right. Highly recommended! I regret forgetting to take photos of the room before checking out, but the bathroom was spacious and it featured a balcony with a view. Plus, with a train station right next door, transportation was incredibly convenient.

Good location, beautiful room with a balcony but they didn't have any ice that was really annoying. The shower was amazing, water pressure is out of this world. Front desk was ok but the night guy was rude and it just killed the whole vibe. The day crew said we could ask for ice since they don't have ice machines so we did at night the guy said we could only have a little and they stop handing it out at 11pm which is inconvenient. They don't have any breakfast, food or snacks and the vending machine was not very functional. I would not stay there again.

Great hotel with great location and everything was very walkable. Hotel has no gym which was huge deal for me because I am athlete, however, I walked a lot around city which made up for it.
Hotel staff is wonderful. From the front desk to the cleaning lady everyone went above and beyond. Would stay here again.

I was very satisfied with my stay, though it's a pity it was only for one night. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I will definitely choose this hotel again. The service was excellent, and the room was arguably the largest I've stayed in during my visits to Barcelona. It's located on Passeig de Gràcia, making shopping incredibly convenient. As a welcome gift, they offered chocolate cookies and cava – and really, how can you go to Spain and not drink cava? First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!FromDKK 2,643

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. I have stayed in many different hotels in Barcelona but this is definitely my favourite. The location is perfect- close to Rocfort metro and within walking distance to all attractions even the Rablas and the Gothic Quarter.
The staff are friendly and professional and extremely helpful. Thanks again to Mark for making me a cappuccino at 6am. Fresh linen, towels, fridge, safe and comfortable bed. The pool upstairs and the gym is a gem and a great place to retreat to when it gets hot and you fancy a swim or tan. You can’t fault this hotel- believe the hype.FromDKK 1,018

I would say this was my most satisfied stay all over the Spain this time.Firstly,its a very safe and convenient place,a big shopping mall just aroujd the corner.Secondly,they r equipped with all cooking tools and stuffs that i can make my DIY dinner,i can buy all things to cook at the suppermall closed by,or there're some restaurants there including including Asian one too.Thirdly,its very closed to the Sant station.All in a word,i would choose again next time when drop by.FromDKK 680

We stayed 4 nights here in a triple room. Staff is wonderful and very helpful! I would say the facilities are great - pool, gym and play area are very welcoming. Breakfast are great too! Only one major downside would be the noise - doors banging really loudly, you can hear noise from people walking from upstairs, and the walls are so thin that you can hear people talking at the corridor quite clearly. Loud banging doors are especially annoying as it’s a busy time during Easter so that means a lot of loud noises :( I have never had this issue with Marriot hotels so I hope they can do something to fix the doors! The hotel's overall environment exceeded my expectations. It's located just off the end of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by many delicious tapas bars and great brunch spots. The 'Chorros' place across from the hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the coffee shop serves excellent coffee too. The hotel even boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant! Highly recommended!

Lowlights: 1) Lost money in the hotel. We left some local currency which was taken when we had the room cleaned. 2) We paid for the breakfast option in cash, forgot to get a receipt, the following day the guys at the front desk said there were no records of the payment nor the additional breakfast. The bathroom is spacious, with bathrobes and slippers provided. The room heating is comfortable. There's a subtle fragrance in the room, which I really appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms are well-lit. Although facing the street, the soundproofing is good. Every morning, I open the balcony door and watch the sunrise from the small balcony, starting my day beautifully. The breakfast is good. The front desk and restaurant staff are warm and polite.
