It was a great experience as it’s my first time staying here in this hotel, at first i got lost and confused with the lifts, but then it was easy access once you know where to go which floor you should use. It’s not a straightforward one, but it’s easy. Hamdoulillah for everything. Nothing to complain, food was so great especially for breakfast. I really did enjoyed my stay there with the private lift that didn’t mix with the mall lifts. Was very quick in everything and the hotel and room so clean and comfy. I had a good stay

Very nice hotel with a great breakfast welcoming people at the reception. Amazing cleaning of the room when done. It is a shame that the service is not consistent across the hotel’s employee. Cashier at the Atrium cafe was really slow and awful next to him very friendly pizza guy who did a great pizza. Shuttle to go to the haram with again inconsistent service. As evidence a picture of the driver enjoying chatting with his colleague from double tree hotel while we were waiting in the car.

I had a wonderful stay at Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel Makkah. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel is extremely well-organized, making check-in and daily routines smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was the cleanliness—every area of the hotel, from the rooms to the common spaces, was spotless and very well maintained. It really made the stay comfortable and relaxing. A special mention goes to the breakfast crew, who were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere each morning. The service they provided truly stood out. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Makkah. It combines excellent service, great organization, and outstanding cleanliness for a truly enjoyable stay.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Hilton Suites Makkah (Jabal Omar). Its biggest advantage is its close proximity to Masjid al-Haram. You can reach it in just a few minutes on foot, which is especially convenient for Umrah pilgrims. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modernly furnished. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning system works perfectly. There's quality cleaning service every day. The view from the window is also very beautiful. Breakfast is very rich and delicious, with a variety of national and international dishes available. The staff are very polite, prompt, and ready to help. The check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. This hotel is very suitable for both family trips and guests coming for pilgrimage. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended! 🌟

Good hotel, standard room, average cleaning but improved with personal input and employing self cleaning techniques, staff is great but young men are not fully trained for a thorough cleaning, this can be improved. Friendly staff, ready to help from receptionist to the security guards and porters. Hotel looked much nicer and cleaner in general due Ramadan outlook. Didn’t try food, we been out and about. I am staying in this hotel since 2017 occasionally and must say there seems staff shortage after covid, which if considered can help improving services again. Overall I surly will recommend staying at the hotel 💚

I requested a bed as per my reservation, but it wasn't provided. Also, the meal price stated in the booking was 50 per person, but unfortunately, they said those were the website prices and their prices were different.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Haram, making it very convenient for prayers and daily activities. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, the housekeeping team did a great job throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread offered a wide variety of options every day. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the Kaaba view from our room. It was truly a memorable and special experience that we will always cherish. Thank you to the entire team for the warm hospitality. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah.

Excellent location and cleanliness. Room size was good and partial Kaaba was an excellent experience. Tower Lifts could be busy at prayer times but hotel lifts were good. Cleaning and catering staff were welcoming.

Everything was great, close to the Haram and all amenities. However, if more attention was paid to the cleanliness and disinfection of the rooms and bathrooms, it would be perfect.

Our second time here and it has always been a great experience with the hotel rooms. The shuttle service to masjidilharam is perfect, but the gate under clock tower most times are closed, unlike before. So we have to divert to jabal umar area before arriving the outdoor courtyard.

Novotel Makkah Thakher City is really not recommended, seriously. The bus stop for its shuttle is very far from the Haram; just walking from the Haram to the shuttle stop alone can take about 30 - 40 minutes. The shuttle takes a long time to arrive at the hotel for pick up — once we waited 30 minutes, the shuttle isn’t always on standby. Once we wanted to go for Fajr prayer, we had to take a taxi because the shuttle didn’t come for a long time. This is from a real experience staying here for 2 nights. Because the Middle East current war, we got a flight reroute that depart 2 days earlier, so we had to add 2 nights at a nearby hotel, but the prices of the hotel close to Haram were already very expensive. We thought this Novotel’s shuttle would be like the one at Le Méridien Tower (shuttle bus stop close to haram - we stayed the on our previous trip), but this Novotel shuttle bus stop turned out to be too far, especially when we travel will elderly On the second day, we only went to the mosque to complete our umrah — we couldn’t handle going back and forth between the hotel and the mosque multiple times. *************, on the third day (2 days ago, when this comment was written), we moved to a nearby hotel that we had already booked long before.” Yes, nusuk approval was fast with this hotel, but what’s the point of fast approval if you still have to wait for the shuttle for an hour close to prayer time and still miss the congregation? Because of the long wait, we got stuck in traffic, and then walking from the bus to the mosque also took a very long time. Hopefully this can be a consideration for those planning to book — don’t regret it like we did, since we didn’t have many options because we booked late 😆”

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, well-designed, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was excellent—convenient and easy to get around—while still being quiet and peaceful at night. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality of the bedding to the cleanliness of the common areas. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and offered great value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a pleasant experience.

Receptionists are very different attitudes and professionalism wise. Very nice helpful gentleman at the start, to a very nervous angry lady on check out. Same apply to food quality; 10/10 breakfast vs 5/10 dinners! You expect more consistency in such a 5 star hotel? Location in not far from AlHarm, but if you suffer chronic illness, mind the fact that the hotel is on a hill? Also some very disturbing road work in the area. Some towels are very old, heavily used overtime, some sockets are not working. So, to me it is an average hotel, probably will struggle to compete with similar range hotels as Hilton,Le Merodiane

Pros. Easy walk to gate 79. Less congested that clock tower area. The advantage to the stay was having pretty large room! The 2 queen beds are relatively big enough and they added an extra bed for my teenage girl. Convenience. Ratio cafe downstairs can be hyped for. The pistachio latte is a must have. Romansiah restaurant also in the building. A must have when you’re here. Close walk to Dawood. Food selection need to be improved both bf and dinner. If you’re particular abt food, Hyatt Regency Jabal Omar serves better spread and standard. Staff checkedin didn’t inform the 2 different restaurants for both bf and dinner G floor and M floor. Apparently we were directed wrongly by them assuming we are group agency and the food was low quality 3 star standard. Then went around asking but found out we were directed wrongly by the front desk. Range was bit better but still need improvement for a 5 star hotel. I think the major improvement the hotel has to do is change the bath towels!! They are so overly worn off and overly used and looked like it’s been used to clean the floors. Pls use fluffy maintained towels. It’s the highlight of quality for amenities. The drainage also slow and tend to choke up. 7 nights isn’t the best there but the space is good.
